So as a minor back story, over the weekend I was talking to a female friend who I haven't known for too long and asked what her first impression of me was. She said that I come off as a goofy kid who probably gets put in the friendzone a lot. Ouch. It was honest, so I thanked her for her honesty, but it still hurt. Anyway, it got me to thinking, what is a good way to figure out how people view you? This will be helpful for self-improvement, obviously, as one can use this to improve your image to other people. So seddit, here it is.

Why not just approach a few girls during the day, and simply say "I'd like to have a female opinion on something. If I walked into a party, and you saw me for the first time, what would you think of me?"

Don't have a full conversation with her beforehand, or else she will begin to judge you based on what you say. Just walk up there and ask her so that she only has your appearance to go off of. Any thoughts about this?
