I hear men constantly mentioning that men have the highest number of mental health issues with no support. How true is that I don’t know but EVERYYYY single man I know who needed therapy absolutely refused to go. Maybe it’s not that they are suffering more, maybe they suffer because they refuse help? I even mentioned this on a sub once and got completely downvoted

My parents come from a culture where being shy is common for both men and women. I have met many men from that background who are incredibly shy but will 100% step up when it comes to romantic relationships. If they are interested in a woman they will always pursue her and make it very clear they are looking for a serious relationship. These other men are completely lazy and lying.

I get what your saying but most men I personally know have told me they would never marry a woman who has sex with them on the first date. It’s not an attack on anyone personally just what I’ve heard many men say.

I never kiss too soon and it shocks me how so many men think they can start making out with me the first time we go on a date.

My ex made me follow behind him when I drove a few times and would go so fast I would get lost. One time I showed up to the destination 30 minutes after him because he sped off and I couldn’t findmy way. He didn’t apologize and acted like I was a moron. Then you get all these Trump supporters in their trucks that drive so close behind you to make you uncomfortable

He had sex with them. What about his wife who was Jewish, he killed her husband her father and then kidnapped her to marry her later. The biggest problem I have with Muhammad is that Islam considers him to be the most perfect human who ever lived and that he should be 100% emulated. Today in different Muslim countries there are child brides because of Muhammads actions. Why does the Quran say you can have up to 4 wives then? I’m not attacking you but Muhammad was not a good man, he lived his lif…

No offense but what about Muhammad the central figure of islam and his many wives? He also married a 6 year old when he was 53 but didn’t have sex with her until she was 9. I have a huge issue with this.

I knew a successful 50 year old man who women were always throwing themselves at. One day he mentioned he wasn’t sure if he was willing to settle down yet and hadn’t made up his mind if he wanted kids or not in the future. Wtf your 50!!!

I dated a doctor once it was very scary. He was so charming and sweet but he wanted a power imbalance. He wanted to rule over my life. When things turned physical he was too aggressive and wouldn’t listen to me when I said I was uncomfortable. Is this similar to your experience?

Why do you think this Peter Pan syndrome is so common now? Men from other cultures even in their 20s seem far more mature than men in their 40s in my current city.

You’re right, some women are married to a man for 10,15,30 years and get fooled. I don’t see a problem with getting engaged after a year.

The religious families either have great men or completely psycho evil ones. It’s weird, I think some of them fake their faith to manipulate people while the other half are genuine. I’ve had some very bad experiences.

How can I stay strong and firm in my beliefs when everyone around me mocks me for believing this? I usually keep my mouth shut because when I talk I get attacked. Are others here more bold? I’m tired of staying quiet because I’m afraid to offend.

Women have always been forced to forgive. They put the blame on the women for not forgiving rather than holding men accountable. As a Christian I see the church constantly keep women imprisoned with psychotic men in the name of “forgiveness.”

Thank you that makes me feel a lot better. I got into an accident years ago and needed time to heal. I have a degree but mentally couldn’t handle the stress in the field after my injury. Right now I’m just proud of myself for working hard and becoming financially independent after a terrible divorce. Still unfortunately in the area I live in the first thing people ask when they meet you is what your profession is. As soon as they find out I work minimum wage they stop talking to me. It’s mean bu…

I’m curious though. When should you share your past? What if you’re planning on marrying them? What if like her you share after you get married and then you have to divorce? Or would it be better to just keep it from them.
