I wouldn't even want to advertise FDS, I'd just like to let her know that she did not overreact in the slightest - that guy's behavior is legitimately HORRIBLE, and she didn't do anything wrong (other than not leaving right away, because she shouldn't let ANY man disrespect her like that 💔).

I feel so bad for her, I know how much those things can get you down, especially with a history of anxiety and depression.

The last paragraph made me so sad for her. As someone who faced mental health issues for years putting yourself out there is so scary for us:( but I really hope she doesn’t allow this bad date to ruin everything. He isn’t worth it at all. This is why I don’t ever meet with guys on OLD at all until I can tell they are serious about me. It’s even worse meeting a person after only talking for 3-4 days. That’s a huge red flag right there. Also a bar date? I would have flat out said no to that. Drinking isn’t even good for you to begin with and he was initiating drinking as a first date? Women need to start vetting a lot more to avoid men like this.

loool I've met too many of these guys in my consulting work. I would have eaten that man for lunch if he came at me with that attitude. guys like this have never had their ego broken. he needs to be knocked down a peg. also if you ever meet these losers, their 'jovial' tone is a way to softly cover for the fact that they are total arrogant assholes, maybe border like sociopathic and of course he is a business man....most of the ones who act like this tend to be. They either automatically judge me for dating white guys (guys who actually ask me out in a socially acceptable way) or they think of me as sub-white woman, which I don’t tolerate. Their egos bust at the seams because Asian mommy taught to be submissive to all men. Which means these guys can’t do basic house chores either. Most Asian guys I know either game and have severe inferiority complexes or they’re like this where they try to be cool af and have delusions of grandeur. There are maybe 3 Asian guys in my life who are normal and really intelligent that I would consider dating (but they’re all taken).

This behavior regardless of race is awful. But somehow when I date Asian men, I always come across this behavior. 🤔

I'm proud of her for walking away and voicing that he was hurtful. Society has trained women to not even do that. If she finds FDS I want her to know she is strong, she made the right call. This man was obviously a broken piece of shit looking to do damage to women because he hates them.

It doesn't reflect on her, she's a normal human being looking for connection. Unfortunately she pulled a hairball out of the drain on this date. FDS really can help her in that regard, with ruthless vetting and learning what 'negging' is (and the fact OLD is a cesspool) maybe she'll feel better.

This is one of 100 reasons I'm opposed to meeting complete strangers from the internet. Only give a chance to men who you can vet and verify through social and professional circles. Reminds me of the guy i met online, he asked all the basic info about me then remembered NONE of it during the date because he was a manager and "didn't have time to remember all women he went out with". So he asked to start all over again like he was interviewing me for a job. He also told me not to order anything above 30$.
