No, unfortunately I do not know of any man who initiated a breakup without a "backup" lined up. Even if they do have a backup, some men will just treat their current partner like shit until she breaks up with him instead of breaking up himself. Very cowardly. I wish I heard of a man who broke up to work on himself, but sadly I do not.

This is a prevalent manosphere tactic. I overheard a former friend of mine bragging about the strategy once: "I show up 15 mins early, order my own coffee, and then when she comes in, she buys her own" Dude wastes 15 mins of his own time to save buying you a $4 coffee. Beyond the next level cheapness, this tells me the following about him: instead focusing on spending his time on productive pursuits, he spends his time multi dating as cheaply as possible. His time isn't valuable and he has nothi…

Had a man pull this phrase on me once after deceiving me. I basically told him that I'm not ok with that and he then had the audacity to try and f'ing negotiate with me: "give me some time to think about it, just 1 week?" 🤡 No dude, if you're not sure about me, I don't care if you take a week, a day, an hour, a second. He probably had some other prospect lined up that week which is why he specifically asked for a week to decide. No, dude, get out of my sight, it's over.

Yeah, exactly. He had slotted her into his "busy" (busy dating many women) schedule for Friday. But OP is too busy being high value. This is a perfect example of how having your own life going on (career, hobby, bussiness) is an excellent filter against lvm. A HVM will make the effort to accommodate your schedule even if he is busy himself because he will want a partner who is on his level. Side note: I briefly dated a highly paid busy professional man who was a fake HVM, and he used the same "s…

This is so true. The risk of sex outside of a commited relationship is simply too high. Yes, some women have married their ONS, but that doesn't change the fact that she took an unreasonably high risk. And it's also an unnecessary risk since a HVM will continue to persue you even if sex is not on the horizon. My current bf, when I set boundaries regarding sex, he respected them. He tried, but then didn't pressure me or guilt trip me when I pushed back. Also, it didn't stop him from asking me out…

I like this post. My first boyfriend apparently couldn't tell when I was upset, ever. Even my guy friends at the time could tell, but somehow he was clueless and I needed to CoMmuNicAtE? My current boyfriend can tell how I'm feeling the vast majority of the time. All I need to do is look at him. He really notices what brings me joy and when I'm sad/upset. Yes, it totally fine! When I was around 25, I also was disappointed with what was available and decided that dating was a waste of time and focused on other things. I wasn't even "hurt", it's just that there were too many lvm in that city and it wasn't worth my time. About 5 years later, I decided to date again once I moved to a city with better men, on average, so that dating was actually enjoyable for me.

Congrats on the level up journey! "I always felt men eventually lost interest in me when sex wasn't in sight soon enough for them." - these are the scrotes you want to drop out of your roster naturally (ie trash taking itself out). This is a perfect example of how men can completely misunderstand the "gifts" love language. They assume if they spend X amount at X frequency, they are done. Lol, no. If you actually get to know your partner and you think about them in a non-transactional way, you'll know what will bring them joy, which in your case was clipping from his parents' garden, such a simple thing.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/10/21 10:33 PM

Wow, maybe it was because the make-up, nails, etc. was something he wanted and he didn't care much for the guitar. So those were just like gifts for himself in a way.

100% this post. It has to stop. AND Also, do not let anyone (yourself, a man, etc.) tell you that it is solely YOUR issue that you can't cum. HE needs to put in effort to arrange a comfortable environment, foreplay (this can be more than just physical), getting to know you and what turns you on, learning about your body, listening to you, etc. None of this "oh it's just very hard for her to cum" and then giving up on trying because he's lazy and selfish.

I was too disruptive myself to get assigned this thankless role, HOWEVER, by middle school I became very good at math and had to sit next to this dude that was basically failing and had to help him do this homework instead of spending that time to further my own understanding.

It's not anything you are doing that is attracting them, it's because these men are sick. They are the ones that are causing this problem, not you. I've also had grown adult men start leering at me since I was a teenager, you are not alone.

There is more to raising a child than fertility. You have to actually raise them and have the energy to do that, which diminishes with age for both genders. Even if his "facts" are correct (which is likely questionable), it is irrelevant if women of all ages stop accepting this BS. He can die alone without 'muh legacy'. Women control the womb.

Yup. Actions / consequences are a more effective way to communicate with men, especially in the early dating stages. After responding with your actions, if he cares, he will either figure out what the issue is or he will bring up the issue with you to discuss, so you don't even need to start that conversation, he will. Then he will really listen when you explain. If he does something you don't like in person, I find it best to just give him a quick one-liner ("I don't like that") - no need to el…

This also why it's important to check if he gets rock hard from a simple kiss or makeout session. A healthy man that is attracted you will easily get hard from this. If he doesn't, it could be due to a variety of reasons, none of which are good. He may not be that attracted to you or has some kind of sexual dysfunction. Neither of which you want. Also, if he does get hard it doesn't mean that you are his dream girl, he could just be really horny. I would say if he doesn't get hard, end it, if he…

Men don't even apply these equal opportunity standards to women in return anyways. If you don't meet their definition of "dream girl" (however impossible it may be: 5'-8", 100 lbs, and size 16 waist, for example), they basically see you as fair game to be exploited. Use for pump and dump, it's ok. Use for forever gf, that's ok too. Use for mommy mcbangmaid wife, also ok, etc. It's hypocritical of men to suggest women give "equal opportunity" when it would never even occur to them to do the same.…

Yes, same. Back when I was in my embarrassing cool girl phase, bf refused to slap me when I asked. I think that is more normal than getting slapped out of nowhere. Porn is so incredibly destructive, yet so few talk about that.

Aside for this indicating they have shit character for being willing to sleep with a woman but not commit, mostly through lies and omission, I would argue this also indicates they are shit at sex. Let me explain: If they sleep with a relatively high (for their age) number of partners, it also indicates that most of the sex he's had are one night stands and short term hookups or worse prostitutes. In my experience, the best sex happens in long term committed relationships, not the first few times…

And when, upon their newly achieved success, high value women don't come flocking towards them, they spiral into low self-esteem induced depression. After deluding themselves for years, their fairy tale doesn't come true and they get big mad. I've seen this play out in real life. They become successful and now expect a certain caliber of woman to put up with his "I'm not ready for commitment", which isn't happening. Then they stay mad, just like back when they were broke. Money and fame can't fi…

"I don't want to resent those who I should consider to be my brothers in arms." I would not like feeling this way either but your anger and resentment is totally justified. One of my sibling's friends - she was lucky I guess to diagnosed with ADHD as a child, but I still don't think she got much support as she did ended up getting kicked out of school and going to some kind of school for bad kids, which she dropped out of.....she was extremely hyper and I guess didn't get much support. Painful period also. I consider it a green flag if he is understanding if we need to change plans because of the pain etc. Also green flag if he asks if I'm feeling better the next day. Maybe this one is a little different, but I also consider it a green flag if he doesn't act grossed out by it. On the non-painful days, I still sometimes still have want sex. If he doesn't care about the mess (you can use a towel), this makes me more attracted to him.

" This is not talked about enough. They love to blame single moms for breaking down the family unit, but really those kids/women are better off without an abusive lvm around. This is spot on. Also "They have it easy, they're not valued on looks alone." - this gives them a huge advantage. Even if they remained ugly, as a man, if they improve their career, etc. they will generally be seen as desirable. Like they can actively improve their situation by leveling up in other areas. Women can do this too, but I would say society rewards men more for it.

They find a lively woman, suck her soul and deplete her if all her energy so that she is a shell of her former self, now he's out of her "league" (mostly due to sucking away her energy), he finds a new victim (another young lively woman), and repeats the process. A big factor is what makes the women's bathrooms more crowded is that usually there are a bunch of kids and babies in there. That really makes things go a lot slower. Men don't have the same childcare expectations. I bet if they did, the men's bathroom would have lines too. I think it's a huge red flag of a guy doesn't try to accommodate finding a nice bathroom for you on a date/trip.

To me it all boils down to this line from the FSD handbook by AverageToHot: "What if I told you that how you want to be treated is very much possible?" We simply don't accept treatment that doesn't line up with our desires. If you internalize this mindset, you'll automatically casually reject any behavior that isn't meeting your standards, and you'll do it swiftly, right from the beginning if this is truly your mindset. Same thing happened to me: a pre-FDS situationahip scrote from 2019 came back from the haunted house of ghosts 👻, offering gifts 🎁 and begging for another chance along with a litany of excuses. No second chance for him because I simply lost all attraction to him. I think the result of my leveling up has made it so that I'm simply not attracted to these lvm anymore.

Basically society is willing to pay 700x more for an egg as opposed to sperm. And that's sperm from a man that meets criteria that a lot of men don't even meet. This says a lot about the demand for sperm. It really highlights how abundant and low value it is.

Reality is that no significant proportion of teen and early twenties women are naturally attracted to old men. I hear ya. I keep hearing influencers talking about bleaching their asshole and/or vagina on youtube/podcasts. It makes me feel kind of insecure, like maybe I should bleach my asshole? I know this is dumb but if I'm being honest with myself hearing the messaging over and over again does affect me and makes me feel inadequate because I haven't gone to these lengths. Like, wtf, even shaving isn't enough now.

Notice how when a country's birthrate is declining, the blame/reason always falls to something women are doing. Like it has nothing to do with men not doing housework or gaming instead of being decent providers.... :/

This is such a crime. If my boyfriend does not indicate that he wants to marry me within about a year, I'm out. And if he does indicate it, he has another 4 months give or take. And there will be no second chances. I hope he works out. It's not easy to have the strength to walk away like that but unfortunately it is very much necessary because you don't want to be a forever gf.

I do think we start out with FDS mindset naturally when we were really young. I remember in like grade 6 I was a total queen and would only accept the best from boys that chased me. Then in highschool I became a total pick-me (🤮😭). It's so sad. I think it is society that makes us this way, not how we are naturally. Now I need to unlearn and this societal conditioning and go back to my natural queen state 😃

Yo.....this boyfriend is not masculine at all if he expects her to spend large amounts of money on him like that. He should be happy about the thoughtfulness put into it and not the dollar amount. I have a pretty good salary but spent less than 50 dollars on my boyfriend for Christmas. They are unique gifts that I put a lot of thought into and relate to conversations we have had and dates we went on. I'm dating him to get to know him and establish a deeper relationship, not be his sugarmama.

If men nowadays won't do chores, can't repair stuff around the house, and only pay half the bills but eat twice as much, then what value offer they for women who can do all those things themselves plus have a career? 🤔 Instead of whining about how "modern female don't need me anymore bahhaha boohoo", why don't they just embrace their masculine role and f*ing provide and protect like they are supposed to....

I don't see how her income has any bearing on how much he should spend on her. Like if a guy didn't want to foot the bill for me but he would for someone who was, let's say, unemployed, then that is telling me that he values me less than the unemployed woman. Just because a woman earns more, does not mean she should pay. If anything it should entice him to pay MORE as a woman with more money can easily afford to entertain herself without the company of the man.

Sis, I feel the same way. Cohabitated with a boyfriend briefly once in life. I was the only one doing any chores and buying groceries 🙄. Also, it never truly felt like my space because he owned more stuff and it took up most of the space. I tried to break up while living there but it didn't work. I had to move out first and only then was able to do it. This experience has taught me that moving in is for those who are engaged / married.

This is good advice. I would also like to add that even if you are successful and seen as strong, you can STILL be targeted by narcissists, especially the covert insecure type. They like to date a successful and strong woman to boost their own social status and validate their vulnerable sense of self. They then seek to break you down via their narcissistic abuse and take pleasure in watching your preciously strong and successful life unravel so that they can feel superior.

I orgasm most easily from PIV sex, which is why I prefer it despite the risks. Can insist on condoms but sometimes they break so it is never risk free. However, if it becomes apparent to me that he doesn't care about my orgasm and does not want to put in the effort, then there is really not much in it for me when it comes to sex, other than pregnancy and other risks, should the condom fail. So yeah, it feels to me like a crime if he doesn't care about my pleasure.

Yes and be very wary if it is the opposite! I dated this guy once that only wanted to talk about my interests and learn about me. At first I thought this was refreshing as most men just talk about themselves and ask no questions. This guy was very inquisitive. So far so good. When I asked him about himself, however, he dodged answering, replied with jokes, and all around revealed very little about himself in return. This is a big fat red flag 🚨🚨🚨. Such a good post. Glad this got stickied. I'm thinking about my great grandmother who gave birth 14+ times, one time being twins, during the end of WW2 Europe in one of the last areas to be liberated by the Allies. I think it is a lack of attention/loneliness and then this married scrote comes along and persues her hard (ie. love bombing). It is never these young women that "seduce" the married lvm, but the married lvm will typically love bomb the shit out of some vulnerable young woman desperate for attention. In this case, the young woman realized her mistake and exposed the guy, but I bet it was the lvm that truly orchestrated it all and put the most effort and planning into that hook up happening.

No, it was not. I believe there has been a change somewhere around 2015 or even a few years before that. When I was in highschool and university, if you were sexual with a guy, the default assumption was that you were now a couple. That was the norm. If you wanted a FWB instead, that was something that had to be explicitly discussed instead of exclusivity and it was NOT the norm default assumption. Now those norms have been reversed. It's f*ed up. I'm curious what caused this. PUA culture? Manip…

I agree. Whenever I have guests (friends/family) over, it creates more work for me (cleaning, etc) EXCEPT if it is my mom. She does her own and also other people's chores automatically. Such a luxury! It makes a world of difference. My dad and us kids were so lucky to have her support all of us.

This is disgusting. This subreddit has really opened my eyes to what black women have to deal with (this and also other posts), not only from society, but also from black men. I live in region that has mostly white people so I don't hear about this much otherwise. Anyways, it just so unfair. If I meet a black guy and he shows as much as a hint of this misogyny, in the 🗑️ he goes - I stand by my fellow woman.

I agree with this. Us women also need time to grow and develop as people. This could be relationships, career, mental health, just figuring out what you want in life, etc. This should NOT just be a privilege for men. The human brain is still undergoing changes until around age 24. Depending on your situation, you might need more or less time than someone else. Don't feel bad about not looking for HVM in your early 20s. It would have been nice but don't blame yourself.

Can confirm that this is what scrotes do. I don't understand why, but I've seen them act like this. Years ago, coming out of a long term relationship, I was casually dating and flat out told men that I just came out of a relationship and wasn't ready for another one and basically told them I was looking for casual and sex only. I know this is not a healthy way to deal with a break up but that's basically what I was doing to distract myself. I was emotionally unavailable. What resulted was a man …

Alimony going to a man makes zero sense. It is meant to protect a woman who sacrifices her career prospects to give birth, raise children, and/or maintain the home. Men can't even give birth and in most cases do NOT contribute to childcare and home maintenance to the same degree that women do. So therefore, they should NOT get alimony! I agree, if I find out a man collects alimony, I would lose all respect for him.

I've had different scenarios regarding this in relationships. Had a bf who wanted to see me every single day but I really needed at least 2 days a week of alone time. Also had relationships where I needed more attention and quality time than they needed to be content. In either case, if the amount of times he wants to see you doesn't line up with what you nee…

It seems like the more women do for men, the more suspicious men become of them. By more I mean sex, cooking, attention, planning dates, etc that are in excess of the effort the man put in. Then he gets all suspicious that the woman might be trying to manipulate him with these extra efforts in order to get something from him that he is not willing to give her. I'm not really sure why they are like that, but perhaps it has something to do with them being attracted to emotionally unavailable women? In my experience, when I flat out told these FWB multiple times that I am emotionally unavailable, I got them: begging for a relationship, flowers, gifts, fun outings, and introducing me to his family and closest friends. Yeah exactly. After leaving my low sex drive (probably porn addicted) ex, I discovered that there were men out there who would get hard just by me looking towards their crotch or saying some sexual things around them. So now I just won't put up with flaccid dick anymore. I deserve someone who can easily get hard for me 💁. Good sex is important to me.

These dudes such friggin weak cowards. If you're not satisfied with the relationship, break up and work on yourself. Be independent. On your own. Be strong. THEN find a new one. These lvm are so afraid of being alone that they try this way. Or they are just straight up lying.

Many women have already made that discovery... Sorry to be crude, but I absolutely cannot stand it when a guy doesn't get hard once I start to give him oral. Might as well end the BJ right there. Such a turn off. A healthy man gets hard immediately after he hears a woman simply says the word blowjob. Just sayin'....

I got some more examples: -only a few dates in talking about looking at houses together (I was like why? 🥴 But I guess a lvm might do this so that you start fantasising about buying a house together?) -only a few dates in started talking about flying me out to where he was going on a business trip (I was like maybe, but then he never followed up and it didn't happen). I was pretty bummed about this one because I really wanted to visit that city.

The third paragraph of your post hit me really hard because it pretty much describes what went on in my last situationship. Let's say we have a lvm and myself, neither of whom are electricians. Now if all electricians disappeared overnight, we would both be f**ed. As far as I'm concerned his argument doesn't support women needing men, it just supports us needing people with certain skills/education. It's actually quite common for women to make these kinds of sacrifices, never to be returned by men. I did this myself. In my early 20s, I declined a summer work/study opportunity abroad, because my lvm bf said he would break up with me if I went. He ended up cheating on me regardless. I have learned my lesson and ever since that I have never sacrificed any career or academic goals for a man again. I hope that a woman who is contemplating a similar sacrifice reads this and learns from my mistake…

Porn changes their brain structure and it takes a long time to heal from that even if they quit. I always follow my instincts when I sense this from a man and stay away. I don't think they can do it very easily, it is just that they are constantly trying. After years of getting rightfully rejected, they finally hit the jackpot on a young woman with self-esteem/vulnerable/etc. issues. At that very moment they immediately branch swing because this may be their one and only chance. This is why you see so many comments on this sub about younger women getting hit on by dusty old married scrotes. Lvm married men shooting their shot on the daily.

The first bullet point was a big discovery for me also. Another realization I have come to recently, is just how different men's thought processes are compared to my own. For example, a fuckboy reaches out with a nice message after months of no contact. Initially, I would apply to this reasons that I would have for doing the same: he must have been thinking about me all along and changed! I apply my own thought processes to his action. But no, he does not think like me. He's most likely bored an…

A lvm ex once tried to pull this shit on me: I opened up about something emotional that was very difficult for me to share, after his insistence. I am quite private with my emotions (cultural) and it is very difficult for me to share these sorts of things. He convinced me to open up and I told him after how challenging that was for me. He then went on to say how it would be 10x HARDER for HIM, to share his deeper emotions. How it is even MORE difficult for him. WTF!!! I was so upset, needless to…

"voluntary motherhood is basically a reality" .....ummmmm, I don't think this is true in many parts of the world, including parts of North America.... What a broad sweeping statement coming from a position of living in a privileged environment. And what about physical and financial damage caused by abortion / pregnancy? Is she saying the man can simply walk away from this with no effect?! Oh she says "at most" ...wtf....I can't continue reading the article, it is making me angry...

"when everyone believes ya, what's that like?" This line really hits me hard. At work sometimes I feel like I have to prove myself over and over again and people don't trust the quality of my work by default. Like if I say something at a meeting, I feel like I'm not taken seriously. I see men around me with similar experience/role and everyone just believes them and trusts their work without needing to explain /defend 😢

I try not to read too much of their redpill stuff because I feel like it is bad for my soul and energy. They just assume we care about their opinion and advice by default. It could be apartment choice, hair style, anything. They offer their opinion/advice wether you ask for it or not. I just let them talk and then do what I want. I think men are socialized to act and think this way.

I don't get why they would say something like that. How is ambition a bad thing? Actually, I think I know why....your ambition reminds them of their own lack of ambition, so instead of reflecting on their own lack of drive (either increasing it or just being aware that they are not an ambitions type of personality) they feel the need to bring you down closer to their level of boring mediocrity

You can do this!!! Just remember that this situationship does not align with your goals. This type of man / scenario that you describe is not uncommon. It can happen to anyone and also happened to me. Same thing, he acted like a boyfriend, but would not give actual commitment. It was extremely difficult to move away from because he acted like a boyfriend and I had strong feelings for him (mostly because the sex was good). What has helped me stay away from him is knowing that he was only using me…

Our society definitely tries to get women to play down their strengths. My mostly male peers at work sometimes say shit like "oh you're so good at BS'ing" to make me feel like I'm not not actually good at what I do and other negative stuff. Now I know that this is because they see me as competition and want to bring me down. This was revealed to me by a much older colleague. This older colleague has no incentive to bring me down because he is not competing with me, unlike the other dudes. He tol…

This post really speaks to me, and it is something I have personally had difficulty with. It is hard to go against a lifetime of being socialized to be a certain way and I suppose my natural tendancies. I agree we need to save these nurturing instincts for children, etc. Something that has helped me with this, is remembering that men are not like us. My first reaction was to interpret something a man does or says through the lens of how I would feel and think if I were to do/say that same thing.…

I think shitty men disrespect both who we are as a whole and our behavior. What I meant to convey is that being treated poorly by a man has nothing to do with my worth as a person, but pickme behavior has led me to be in a situation with a shitty person. Hope that makes sense.

Amazing how a woman can have so many things going for her and be an incredible catch, but when she acts like a pickme, none of that matters and men disrespect. I have come to realize that it was my pickme/coolgirl behavior that led men to treating me badly, not my worth as a whole.

However, from this post, it appears that men should be allowed to cope with this using various vices as opposed to self improving and expect to receive love from women as opposed to giving love themselves. As a woman, I guess you are expected to give love even if you yourself are dealing with insecurities, etc. and the object of your affection is emotionally stunted :/

I think we can go braless if we want! I have noticed that in Europe it's not considered that big of a deal if you can see the shape of the nipple under a shirt. I think it is moreso considered indecent in North America. Even with large boobs, certain dresses and shirts, I can get away with not wearing a bra. Feels amazing. I hate wearing a bra. Ok then, well if he truly is a changed new man, then it would only be fair to the other new (potentially hvm) men, that he compete with them! Hence, start from the beginning, with no shortcuts for him. Most of the time they fail miserably competing for you in this way because they didn't actually change like they said they did.

This guy has commitment and intimacy issues as evidenced by his past behavior. He needs to get therapy to fix that, as he himself admitted. He doesn't like you enough to want to change that for you either, unfortunately. It may make you feel better to know that you were only with this guy for a few months and not over a year like those other girls he didn't love or introduce to anyone. Lol. HIS hobbies sound boring AF. Purely consumer based hobbies that produce nothing of value. Also, I feel like use of the term friends-with-benefits to describe un-loving casual sex without commitment of any sorts has degraded the meaning of the word friends. It's like NVM don't even understand what that means anymore or they are attempting to manipulate you with it. Yes, I find it hard to understand how someone can spend so much time initiating contact with someone, but then not care to know more about their interests and ambitions. What's up with all these older well-off men being greedy AF with their early 20s gf's? Don't they have any instincts to provide? This just goes to show that a well-off established man is not by default high value. I used to date a guy who was a few years younger than me and made a lot less money than me, but he was super hardworking and STILL paid for all our dates and trips! He never expected me to pay anything just because I made more money. I really cared for him and gave him lots of affectio…

Yes, a true alpha hvm would take responsibility for rude behavior like that. Sounds like these guys are just trying to appear strong by being rude but are actually hella insecure

And funny thing is, this encounter was years ago and he STILL clearly thinks about her. He said she was the perfect woman for him and how intriguing she was. LOL. He doesn't talk about his forever gf this way. So now I'm thinking, NICE FOR WHAT?!

Yeah, men are weird. Not just about looks but also personality, etc. For example, this dude I know (friend), told me once how he was ready to marry this girl he went on one date with. It turned out she was an escort and lied to him. When she came clean, he still wanted to marry her, but she ghosted him after. Meanwhile he has a forever girlfriend who is this sweet girl next door type....why doesn't he marry her?!

Also, the manosphere seems to be obsessed with revenge fantasy for the women that rejected them or women that remind them of women who rejected them. If you just look at some recent top posts from a really gross sub that starts with an M, you will see this obsessive revenge fantasy. It's like they WANT women to FAIL. FDS is more about blocking those who cause you harm. Block and delete, then move on and level up. I don't see block and delete promoted on the manosphere. More like they like to lea…

"youth digger" - good one I also like the term "energy thieves". It can also apply to women, but basically it is someone who sucks the life out of you and brings you down. Older men like to leach off a young woman's vitality and zest for life and they can often be "energy thieves"because they are tired old scrotes...

This is exactly why I am against 50/50. If the day ever comes that it is expected and most common that a man truly does half of the household and child care, then I would consider 50/50. Alas, most married women or forever gf's that I meet, it is clear they do more than half of the house work .... If a man doesn't care about my orgasms, I boot him out of my life right away. That's not even worth a discussion, he gone LOL

This started a long time ago and is not just guys in their 20s. One of my guy friends admitted to me many years ago that he is way more attracted to anime girls with cat ears than real women, even with cat ears on. I didn't really care, because my relationship with him is purely platonic. My point is that this same guy would be in his early 30s now so it's not just guys in their 20s.....

This sounds wonderful. I'm thinking that when lvm say they go for younger women because of BiOlOGy, I think the real reason is that younger women are easier to manipulate and control. Deep down these men also like women their own age and older but it is more difficult for them because they take less BS.

I remember how shocked I was the first time I watched porn when I was 19. I remember wondering if men view me as they do these pornstars because I was the same age. It really affected me. Please don't go back there. Porn is disgusting but can also be addicting. Everytime you look at porn you risk getting pornsick, which is a struggle to heal from.

Especially when there are actually so many men that enjoy cooking themselves. I know this is anecdotal, but I'm finding it is not too rare that men enjoy cooking. So why settle for these trad men, unless you genuinely enjoy doing ALL the cooking and cleaning.

A YouTuber called Jenny Mustard recently did a great video on how people perceive women aging, feeling ugly, and how people perceive aging as damage. In the video she says, "I have lived longer and therefore I look less new". This struck with me. I think she gives some really great advice in the video.

Yeah, what is up with these contradictory statements and reactions? I once asked this guy I was dating if he ever wanted kids and he answered it in a very take it or leave it kind of way, like if the woman wanted to have kids he'd be ok with it but he'd also be ok with not having them. Then I told him pregnancy scares me. He kinda freaked out and was like, why?! No, it isn't! Buddy, isn't it obvious...it's a bit scary carrying another human being...

Great post and also glad it ended the way it did, without you sleeping with him. It is sad that our society is in a place where sex is seen as something so casual that you would do it with someone who "doesn't know you that well" and would think it was weird to visit you in the hospital. Casual, like it is a handshake or something, no big deal. Eww🤮

Yes! As women, it is a lot simpler for us to have children without a man (spermbank) than it is for a man to have children without a woman (find a surrogate and buy an egg). This stems from sperm being so abundant. If a woman cannot find a HVM in time, then why settle for a LVM. The LVM should not reproduce.

Yup, after 3 months when he still would not call me his girlfriend, I had to end things. I was "happy" with him and had strong feelings for him so it was very difficult for me. I had to overcome my feelings and realize that this man does not align with my goals (committed relationship). I enjoyed his company and he treated me well, but I feel like this is all fake if he isn't even sure if he wants me as his girlfriend after 3 months.

Having to "keep up with IG"...if it is not your thing, then that's no way to live. I personally do not care to post photos of myself on Instagram, I just post pictures of things I like that I see when I go about my life. If a guy cares about IG and wants me to post photos of myself, he would not be my type and I would not want him. I would essentially have to change who I am to appease him. If your grandparents are still around, give them a call. See how they are doing and if they have everything they need. Have a chat with them. Or check on anyone else really that is living alone and potentially vulnerable if grandparents are not an option. In times like these, we need to support each other and that could be by keeping someone company via phone. There are a lot of lonely people out ther…

You are not alone. I was there too once. Watched a lot of porn and because much of it has disturbing content you end up being exposed to it even if you don't search for that perse. It is just what is the norm now unfortunately and it is so ubiquitous. I suffered from pornsickness to some extent in the past. I have a fairly high sex drive and need to masturbate to prevent myself from having sex with lvm. Nowadays I do that without porn, and I feel a lot better about it.

Yes, based on my observations, this often appears to be the case. A woman "at the top" rarely receives the kind of emotional support a man "at the top" would get from a woman. Also I would argue it is even more stressful for a woman at the top because you have to deal with all sorts of biases that men don't even fathom exist.

Option A: get knocked up by Joe blow 45+ year old man, carry child, give birth, raise child, child moves out, care for 65+ man who is now potentially having health issues (could happen also before child moves out) Option B: get 20-30 year old's sperm from sperm bank, carry child, give birth, raise child, child moves out, freedom Obviously there are many more options and this is an over-simplified example, but I just wanted to illustrate that women have other options.
