I dated a guy who didn't seem to be from any of these categories. He was incredibly respectful to me. He would explicitly ask me for consent for sex and check in with me during sex to make sure I was good. He paid for every date without a complaint. He had kids from a previous relationship who he saw regularly, treated kindly, and paid child support for. He was not a porn addict or a misogynist or a narcissist (at least I don't believe he was). Right off the bat he treated me better than any guy I'd ever been with to such a degree that it really made me realize how disrespectful most other men are.

After a few months of thinking I found a HVM I figured out what was wrong with him though. HE WAS A FUCKING WHITE SUPREMACIST. He wasn't very outspoken about it so it took a few months for it to come out.

Long story short... even the ones who don't seem bad at first glance are still fucking trash.

AH no way. And I thought I was ... I don't know, too squishy, too friendly, or simply hallucinating. This has been my exact dating life, or to precise: my life with men who claimed to be interested in me. Starting at age 12... so it's been almost 20 years now.

Although I have to disagree: narcissists don't always come in good gym-bro-shapes. Narcissists often feed off of other things than just their looks. In fact, my own mother is a narcissist, but looks like an old hag, deliberately.
