I’m 43 and I look better and feel much more with it than I did at 23. The only difference is I can’t drink as much anymore, can’t do a hangover lol. Let us age in peace, it’s natural, it’s biological. The only expiration date is actual death.

I hate when they expect you to go on and on and on giving a blow job but 99 out of a 100 dudes will lick your clit for 3 minutes and pout because you should’ve cum by now and their mouth is tired. And god forbid they keep making the same motion because once you start to get excited they change what they are doing. They all seem to have watched the same scene where they flick and rub your clit crazily for like 30 seconds, like that does anything. Also men don’t care about their sexual health at a…

In another video she explains she didn’t fall in love with her husband until about 3 years of marriage. In her culture this is normal. I’m a pretty cynical person about love, so this makes sense to me now. Marry up and the best prospect and all.. I always chose on love and potential and I always got burned. That being said I’m not the same culture as her and my parents married after 3 months. They are still happily together 44 years now. It is definitely NOT for everyone, but it’s not impossible…

The Universe Guru on YouTube has excellent videos about how to tell men you can still date them, but you aren’t looking to be a girlfriend. If you think about it, being a girlfriend is a meaningless title. As I am now 43, I look back on my relationships and engagements and see how silly they were. Those men are gone, they gave me very little. There was absolutely no point emotionally or financially for me to spend my time on them. The harsh reality of experience and years gone by have opened my …

I believe if you truly want marriage, there is no girlfriend stage at all. You should date hypergamously. Also date multiple men at a time until one rises to the occasion of marriage. I am never interested in being someone’s girlfriend ever again. I’d also never buy a man expensive gifts, lol.

Same goes for people that aren’t married yet. You don’t do counseling with a boyfriend. You just leave.

I own my home and a car and have steady work. If a man can’t get me a better house, car and life I’m uninterested. Men need to be providers and pay. I dearly wish my father who was a provider himself would’ve programmed that into me. Would’ve saved me 20 years of dating complete losers. Where are those men I was “investing” in now? They aren’t here now paying my mortgage that’s for sure..

So much time and energy spent gaming instead of working on themselves, or ya know...just working period. If your hobby is gaming I’m not interested in your zombie ass.

I used to frequent a waiting forum on a wedding site when I was waiting for my shitty ex to propose. Women just growing resentful and trying to be happy with scraps. It sucks. My ex eventually proposed but I broke it off a month later. He was terrible but also he just took too long to propose and I lost interest. The women on that subreddit should come to FDS.

Oh lord, I’ve been having to keep myself away from those mommy and marriage subreddits. These “husbands” are all the same and such a drag on society. Kids growing up watching “dads” play video games all day. I can’t even imagine.

HVM do not prefer one gender over the other. Being raised by a LVM father that wanted a son more, was damaging to me. I was raised without femininity since my mother was a low value woman. Wish my parents would have cared about my upbringing more. Don’t date or have children for men that discriminates their own child’s sex. They should be happy either way.

There is no Covid safe dating in person right now.

That’s a great stance. Out of all the stepparents situations I know of, only one is happy. And that’s cause the guy is insanely rich. He actually seems to parent, and his ex wife is normal. That’s the exception, not the norm.

I guess the term bang nanny is unacceptable to use on that subreddit. But that’s what many of these men are doing. I’ve been banned anyways for telling a woman not to financially help her SO with his divorce. He was still freaking married 🤦‍♀️

Yep, a lot of these women are paying rent or on the mortgage. And their SOs will remind them it’s not their house and they have no say.

The stepparents sub is a shit show. These women are being more of a parent to these kids then the fathers are. And they will always defend their shitty SO. Like boohoo, he has SO much to deal with. Like we all don’t. But women are expected to suck it up, clean the house, care for kids-including kids that aren’t ours, work a job, run errands and on and on...boohoo he can’t take a few minutes to father his own child. The stepmoms in there enjoy being victims..makes me sick.

See ladies!! I’m so tired of the stereotype that “we couldn’t find a man...poor thing. What’s wrong with us?” I had a husband at 23 that lasted three months before he cheated on me. He was in his 30s and now I realize he had ED. Two proposals after that that I ended. I found men, I just threw em back. 🙅‍♀️ I’m so happy to be single during this pandemic. Men should be providers. Period. If they can’t provide for a woman and or children they have no business even courting.

You don’t deal with them. Your time is valuable. A man asking you out needs to have a plan and it should be expressed early. Next time some guy suggests something like he did just keep asking, yeah but what’s the plan? If there’s nothing or he is procrastinating then block him. He’s not the man for you..or anyone really.

All those years waiting and I just knew I’d didn’t want to live the rest of my life his way. Last I heard from his friends he hasn’t changed at all. LVM stay LVM.

You just let the minutes pass and keep your mind and body occupied. I do lots of reading, watching new movies, getting rest or exercise, baking and cooking. If I need to call someone I talk to my parents or my brothers. I think of myself as a submarine encased under the arctic ice. I’m impervious to being contacted by him or reaching out to him. I’ll share this comment I read back in February from JalapeñoPancakes. The most I ever got up to was 4. It was HARD. I’m sure it’s blown up on the face of many an FDSer. I didn’t lie about going on dates with other men(there’s no discussion of commitment)and many dropped off at that discovery. But, from the very beginning I had discussions with every man that I was in it for marriage.they all knew going in and I slept with none of them. From a scheduling standpoint it was nuts. He’s already given you his answer. It would be foolish to keep trying to sway him to how you feel. With men, words don’t work as well as action. You should walk away if marriage within a certain timeframe is extremely important to you. And don’t lie to yourself to keep him. Be true to your desires.

r/breakingmom and r/stepparents too. Why anyone would want to spend time in a shitty relationship full of disappointment and pain is beyond me. Lots of women think it just comes with a relationship. So happy to be single.

I’m in the US and I’m not dating at all right now. Men are dirty and more likely to have COVID-19. I’m not interested in giving them any attention. Let them work on their issues for once.

Climate change. Men don’t help equally in raising children. My body won’t be the same. Bloodline, who cares anymore? There may not be anyone around in 30 years to remember my family.

I’m 42 and if a guy wanted to take me to Applebee’s for a first date I’d laugh and then block him. I mean the only time that’s acceptable is if you live in a teeny tiny town and it’s the nicest restaurant there. I just wouldn’t have said what she said. That’s what’s bringing out the pitchforks on that post. Who even knows if she really said that though.

I have a friend like this too. He cheated on her for a year when she went to his house unannounced and caught him. She fucking stayed. Even moved in with him. Oh but it’s okay because her son told him how shitty he is and he better not do it again! I tried to tell her she deserves better but she bristled. She’s a powerful career woman but she’s a pushover in real life. I lost respect for her and barely speak to her now.

A man made me cum once at 23 by going down on me and then another man by fingering me at about age 25. I’m 42 now and I can’t even count the lovers after that. I faked every other time since. I know you aren’t supposed to but I just don’t feel like arguing about it. Men are complete fools in bed. They’re boring, selfish and uneducated. Their egos are SO fragile. Even the most woke, “feminist” men haven’t made me cum. Love my Magic Wand. Sometimes it takes all of 3 minutes to climax. Why do I nee…

I’m 42 and it’s not so bad. This is the most stable time in my life. Having no man=no drama.

I’m 42 and the energy and time I spent worrying about finding someone in my 20s and 30s...well it’s crushing to look back now. I never got what I wanted from men. I agonized and plotted. Wish I would’ve spent that time improving my own mental health. Men took away from my focus.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/06/20 04:34 PM
5

That’s wise. Instead of putting energy into trying to get an outcome from an unpredictable man, put it in yourself instead. You’ve got plenty of time.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/06/20 04:31 PM
5

Then go to therapy to get this solved before dating. It’s really just that simple as to be a whole healthy person before dealing with men. I can tell from your posts that you’re all twisted up in this guy. Untangle yourself. Get some help.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/06/20 02:00 PM

Stop caring so much about how HE feels. This is about making sure your own needs are met. If he’s not meeting them or you feel insecure, level up and delete him. Personally sounds like you need more work on yourself before you date anyone.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/06/20 01:49 PM
6

Actually I think judging off your comments you’ve let yourself become too invested. You need to adjust your feelings and kick that pedestal out from underneath him. Usually when you’re so fearful about losing a man, it’s because you’re not already giving that care to yourself. Just relax and be happy alone. This person is not your whole world and you’re letting him be. STOP IT! Go back and read the handbook.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/06/20 01:45 PM
32

Your nagging feelings will only get worse. Being a power couple is also a terrible idea. That almost never ends well. You sound turned off. Don’t let yourself think he’s the “one” cause he’s not. Sunken cost fallacy and thinking he’s such a nice guy will trap you into staying with someone you’re not compatable with. I’m 42, I’ve been there many many times. Break up with him and find someone you are 100% about.

Men seem to have no problem stating that they won’t date women with children, or saying they won’t raise someone else’s child. But women are supposed to love single dads and dad bods and become the stepmother... NO he doesn’t have a right to any preference about HER pubic hair. It’s revolting to me he even mentioned it beforehand. They aren’t married. I have never, in my over 24 years of dating had a guy advise me of any preference he had for my pubic hair. As long as I’m clean I’m not doing anything else for any man. He should be so lucky to eat my pussy. -Edit- what a bunch of Pickmeishas in here. A man doesn’t get to have a preference when it comes to your most intimate body parts. Expressing that preference before you’ve even been really dating is just inappropriate besides. I’m grossed out.

The last guy I was with seemed wonderful and said things like, I mean the world to him. But by his actions that was not true. He was the catalyst for following FDS. I dropped him. He’s the last man with a kid I’ll ever date. Men can SAY all the right things but again, it’s his actions, his patterns especially we need to pay attention to. I’ve got to stop taking what they say at face value. Most men are full of SHIT and shouldn’t be in a relationship or having sex.

Yea, last guy I dated had a daughter. Cute kid but it sucks not being number 1 to someone you consider number 1. In most cases it’s 1.kid 2.ex wife 3.Ex wife’s family..etc...these guys shouldn’t date and just focus on being good dads. For some reason the people on the stepparents sub think when the kid turns 18 they’ll disappear. Yeah no, college, weddings, grandkids. You’ll get to see his ex or Ex wife forever.

Sure. I’m 42 and I’ve dated pretty much every guy you can think of out there. Celebrity, much older, much younger, narcs, good old country boy, scientist immigrant, high school crushes, independently wealthy, the lazy philosopher boy, insecure short guy yadda yadda...They are pretty much all the same. I’m not jaded but I’m a realist. I’d rather be alone than unhappily tied to some idiot. Dying alone? That’s not a good enough reason to settle for anybody. There’s no guarantee that man will outlive…

The stepparents forum is full of Pickmeisha extraordinaires. I’m in my 20s and you’re 10+ years older than me? ✅ Oh you aren’t divorced yet? ✅ You want me to move in and pay half? ✅ Oh babysit your kids whenever? ✅ Take abuse from you and your ex wife? ✅ Don’t go anywhere or take nice trips because the kids. ✅ Dad guilt? ✅ Oh you may not want kids with me because it will make your other kids feel bad? ✅ Clean and cook for someone else’s children? ✅ Yea, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Find roommates. It’s better than being in this situation. You’ll want to start seeing a therapist and or psychologist. They can help you if you feel yourself getting depressed. Don’t move in with him, no matter what! See above! You are very young. At this age focus on yourself and no more dating. Break it off with this toxic boy. He’s too old for you. Take care of yourself FIRST!! Do NOT move in with him. Break it off.

I was in this exact same situation years ago with a cheap fiancé. Every time I’d try to break up he’d cry and manipulate.. I wasted 5 years on that douche and for some reason the final straw was that we got into an argument and he returned my diamond earrings he bought me for my birthday. Mind you he’d never bought me anything nice before and said we could go get them again if we made up. Nice. Nothing for sentimental value right? You aren’t trapped. That’s in your mind. You aren’t shallow at all! Having expectations for a partner-this is your life after all-isn’t shallow. Sounds like you’ve lost respect for him. It’s really hard to get that back...nearly impossible.. Just based off your story I’d dump him. I mean , you ended the engagement already. Going back is going backwards now.

My own father never trained my brothers how to be good husbands. My dad is not a bad man but emotionally unavailable and had kids to pass on the genes. One brother is a virgin in his late 30s and will never marry thank goodness, the other is single also in his 30s and frankly I wouldn’t date him. So yeah, one reason is no great male role models, no one to teach them any better. I’d also say since the 60s sexual revolution women have given away their power. The sky isn’t falling. You’re 26. Finding a man is not the pinnacle of life. I’m 42. I’ve been proposed to, married once, many lovers and many “soul mates”. The sooner you drop the narrative that you’re getting old and panicking about finding someone the better choices you’ll make. I panicked all over my 30s and was also dealing with mental illness so I settled for garbage. Don’t be me. Be patient. Trust the process. STOP thinking about your age.

I was 22/23 when I married my ex husband and he was 31. Now at 42 I look back and I’m creeped out. He took advantage of me, bullied me and eventually cheated on me after marriage. Was watching Married at First Sight the other day and was noticing how they paired up very attractive women with really average looking dudes and I had this exact thought. In fact on my walk yesterday I saw many couples in pairs or with their kids where the woman was much more attractive and I silently wondered how much crap she had to put up with or how much time she had to wait for that scrote to propose, smdh.

However, there were red flags and he has a problematic ex wife. He showed himself to be weak and not as generous financially as I’d like. And it was long distance. After many many relationships at the ripe old age of 42, and taking back many LVM I can tell you they never change. They may change for a week and that gives you a false sense of security. But the problem never goes away and it becomes a bigger problem now because you’re on guard..because it will happen again. Once I took someone back after I knew I didn’t like him because he cried. Not every woman is perfect but jeez it seems like there is a lot of birth mom conflict on there. These stepmoms need to look at their partner more carefully. My brother. He retired in his 30s after working hard and saving but still gave some money to me and my sister when we bought our cars. What makes him particularly high value is that he’s never dated. He’s known that he’s not a romantic or really into his feelings guy. He’s had the self awareness to stay out of the dating pool. He’s never hurt anyone or led anyone on. Many, many, many men shouldn’t be dating. They aren’t emotionally capable, they aren’t providers, they are just lonely or horny.

I’m not dating at the moment. I work in travel so I have bigger things to worry about.

I’d ghost him if he didn’t text me until 2 days after sex.

It’s nice to see you have options and there is always someone better around the corner. Enjoy but be wary. Don’t take your ex back.

I’m sure everything financially with these 2 is 50/50 so he’s of no benefit to her. And she got down her knees in the story just doesn’t sound great 😆

You aren’t wrong. This story is pathetic.

By my brothers. One brother has even given me some money for a car and to my sister as well. He retired in his 30s and is frugal but not cheap. But no, not by anyone I’ve dated. I’m 42 years old.

Sarcastic Kink friendly INTJ or whatever that stuff is, any version of that. No go.

I don’t know how old you are but you’ve gotta fake it till you make it. One day you realize that you’re not faking that you’re over him any more...you just are! I’m 42 and each time is tough but it does get easier. But another commenter suggested doing some new stuff. Any time you think about him do something else. And this breakup had NOTHING to do with you. Many “men” are not capable of being in a relationship and that’s not your fault.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/03/20 05:20 AM

I know right. The first thing I wondered when I had seen a post about this was how do you find so many men to date at once? I’m 42 and don’t do online dating. I’m also tired just thinking about juggling multiple men.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/03/20 11:13 PM

Agreed. We will see how much longer Harry is useful to her. Everyone in here can downvote me to hell but this is a pathetic couple.

Probably depends on who you ask.

Well now she’s cutting out his too! When you cut everyone out you have to maybe consider that YOU are actually the toxic one.

Well, had he wanted to leave them until Meghan came along? He seemed to be doing just fine. This doesn’t make Meghan a Jezebel, but I am impressed at how under her thumb she got him in little over a few years. I mean that is seriously narc talent.

Have you considered cutting Harry away from his family is a bit extreme though? Perhaps narcissistic?

I’ll add again. Why is Meghan Markle a HVW?

Why are people texting these types of conversations rather than talking in real life?

I read that sub too. It’s just the best birth control/don’t pick the wrong partner reminder out there. The stepparents sub is one I sometimes still go to when I was dating a man with a kid. Another sub full of women putting up with LVM and their toxic exes. Many aren’t even married but are acting like they are already family.

Im 42 and I have no problem getting asked out in public or finding men. It’s just that they are low quality. I recently got out of a short term thing with someone from high school. In pictures he looked good but was rough looking in person. When I briefly did OLD the men in my range looked rough too. They don’t moisturize or wear sunscreen. They keep eating habits they had in high school.

It’s true! Wish I would’ve been alone rather than the LVMs I spent my 20s and 30s with.

I listen to Michael Bolton’s Time, Love and Tenderness..I really do! Love yourself, be tender to yourself and let time pass. Make a list of things YOU really want to do. For example I like to get my nails done, go to the zoo, the movies by myself, an art museum, work on a home project or decorate your apartment, work on your wardrobe or your diet, read a new book, hang out at a book store. There are SO many cool things you can do. Breath, breath in fresh air. When you start to think of LVM do th…

What an idiot! What are you on here for?.....DATES dumbass! Take me out on a real date. Another reason why I deleted OLD sites. The men don’t want to take you out. Just chat and then pester you for sex.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/02/20 05:17 AM

Just don’t have sex with them, marry them or take them seriously. You don’t realize how young and ripe you are to be taken advantage of. I was 23 when I married my 31 year old husband. He had looks, money and was extremely charming. After marriage he tried to get me pregnant right away. Then he stopped sleeping with me and cheated on me on a business trip...3 months in! Really messed up my life for a long time. Proceed with extreme caution!!

It’s not about when HES available. It’s about him asking when you are. We are the Prize. Had a dude get nasty with me years ago when I couldn’t accommodate his schedule. He showed his true colors of how shitty he was. Never had a second date.

Yea I hope she was just being funny when she said that. Like he was just telling her she was in the wrong spot so she wouldn’t get towed. That’s not a great first impression to me.

I’m child free. Never found a man in my 20s or 30s worth having kids with 🤷‍♀️

One guy chatted me up then said let’s get to know each other, so I was expecting to be asked out. Crickets for 3 days. Why are you on a dating site if you don’t want to date?!

I know right! Feels like older divorced dudes just use dates as therapy sessions.

I think you’re going to to what you want to do regardless of what we tell you on this sub. You’re obviously having doubts or else you wouldn’t have posted. Situations like this remind me of something Don Draper said on Mad Men. “People tell you who they are, but we ignore it -because we want them to be who we want them to be.

Many men are just crap and I don’t know you so it’s too hard to say why you are having these feelings. Guy above you described is NOT worth it though. Bottom line.

I just stopped after one day. I’m in Portland and it’s probably the worst for LVM. Plus the couples and poly, ethically non monogamist shit you have to swipe through. Waste of time.

Sadly I stayed with a man over 3 years because he treated me really well. PHD with stank breath. Had to constantly tell him to trim his nose hairs. NEVER again. If that’s going on or their house is dirty I walk away.
