Option A: get knocked up by Joe blow 45+ year old man, carry child, give birth, raise child, child moves out, care for 65+ man who is now potentially having health issues (could happen also before child moves out)

Option B: get 20-30 year old's sperm from sperm bank, carry child, give birth, raise child, child moves out, freedom

Obviously there are many more options and this is an over-simplified example, but I just wanted to illustrate that women have other options. Men that say this stuff seem to think that their old sperm is valuable enough for a young woman to proceed with option A on. We don't NEED your old sperm!

Fertility clinics say the split between whether it's the man or woman's fertility which is the problem in whether a couple can conceive is 50/50 up until the menopause.
