I agree, I think she's moved on from the pickme stage but hasn't quite leveled up to FDS standards yet. I hope this is a wake up call for her though and that she soon realizes that happiness can be found without a loving relationship.

Was just checking to see if this had been posted here yet! I was pleasantly surprised by the comments though, I was expecting a bunch of "frugal" men justifying this behavior. Instead it was full of comments telling her to run.

A high school boyfriend of mine left me alone in an empty movie theater parking lot. He had a car but I didn't. My dad hadn't gotten there to pick me up yet, but my ex said he had to leave to get home before his curfew. Needless to say, he was a LVM in so many other respects as well.

I'm always encouraging fellow vegan women to stick to dating other vegans. Anything less will always end in disappointment IMO. So many of us believe that common values are important in a relationship, but don't apply that to our SO's diet. (Saying this as someone who also dated a couple of nonvegans until I found the animal rights activist partner I have now.)
