Rich is the new hot. Maybe hot girls are with rich guys? Leaving hot guys to partner with the whales. just reread your original comment again and go outside where there are a lot of people and look around. good looking dudes are still with good looking women. yes some hot girls (esp older) are with some rich guys, but that's always been the case or even more so before. wealth and looks both always matter for men. no way is wealth the new looks. i agree about cost of living, but that would only s…

So you're saying Asian women are "demanding" white men, whereas white men are "preferring" Asian women? lol, cmon now.

There was HINGE data put out recently that that the top 10% of BOTH men and women held a monopoly over the total "likes" - the top 10% of women got 45% of total likes, the top 10% of men got 59% of total "likes." do you have a link?

see a WOC with a white man, the white man doesn’t have a fetish. I recommend qualifying statements such as these. We just agreed that it might be different for East Asian women, for example. I think there are other exceptions as well.

I thought wealth for men is going down in value tbh. More women earning more money, and less SAHM's, at least in the USA.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 12:15 AM

Guy here, I think I noticed the same, but it might depend on where. Generally women take more care of their look, whilst men often put far less effort in. I definitely agree with this. I do agree with the OP that women are getting chubbier in the USA though, at a rate greater than for men. There is a known obesity issue in the USA, but I have a feeling it's greater for women.

“Yellow fever” is mostly bullshit, most of the time it’s an Asian girl that has a white fetish, not a white guy who has an Asian fetish. It might be different for Indian women than East/SE Asian/other Asian/etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 12:01 AM

I think this correlates with the trend of guys going for Asian women, who are still thin in comparison.

IDK about BTS, IDK for sure either. All I know is they are for sure killing it on the music charts, but that doesn't necessarily equate to physical attraction. I guess the same could be said for Bieber, but I see your points about the wide jaw and chin, and yeah it seems like there are traits that are attractive to both men and women for sure: good skin, symmetry, "not too big and not too small" XYZ, etc. etc. But if you're ugly and masculine (think ron perlman or andre the giant), you'll have n…

I find there's a minimum threshold for physical attraction that grows through intimacy and progressive romantic involvement. (assuming from the male perspective) I think it's hard to define a threshold with accuracy realistically, so in essence, I assume you are making a rhetorical statement that there is a signficant threshold for men (compared to women), which is a very similar conclusion shared by the post (men need physical attraction to begin with). Am I understanding you correctly?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/22 10:21 PM

Perhaps I should have tried harder in pursuing the women I was interested in then? I often gave up pretty early because I applied my male perspective in believing she wouldn't be interested unless she was attracted to me in the beginning. I didn't want to be in a relationship with someone who wasn't physically attracted to me at the beginning, limiting the future potential. I did have women try to pursue me at times, and when that was the case, everything seemed far easier dating wise. No games,…

I should add that I’m not into hookups at all, but the pursuit of new and better is always the drive. Would you so far as to say this makes marriage more difficult for men than women? (on average, and not the only reason, and not saying marriage is necessarily more difficult for men on average)

“lack of sexual attraction only becomes a problem when one tunes into societal expectations around sex and desire,". I agree, but if one lives in a society, tuning in is the default and it's not easy to tune out.

Their thinking is ‘if I feel physically attracted to you then our relationship will work’’. However, I wouldn't go so far as to say this.

“In my experience, it's possible for women to cultivate desire for a partner with considerable effort, but if a man does not have desire for his partner at the beginning of a relationship, he will never desire her.” This seems true to me, as a generalized rule of thumb, both from my personal experiences and what my therapist told me.

Your post read more like "being risky is the safest thing to do", but I get what you're saying. In actuality, there's very little risk to approach a girl. People see these things as risky, but they really aren't. You don't have much to lose except your ego, which hurts but is a good thing in the long run.

The devil is in the details. You have guy friends who might game the girls you're interested in, which might make it difficult. Your work is definitely not traditional, but is still work. No one can expect to bang their co-workers left and right. You meet models and such, sure but that's more of a quick intro rather than what op is reerring to, which includes seeing and socializing with the same girls over and over through a fraternity. Honestly, it can work both ways. Game is great for guys who…

This is the truth, but not the whole truth. It's possible to do fairly well without being in shape. You simply have to add a lot more value in other areas. Perhaps a gorgeous face, very expensive clothes, a quick wit, or an amazing lifestyle. Conversely, it's not enough to simply work out. Lots of guys hit the gym and get mass. Protein shakes, caffeine, and creatine make this easier for the average joe these days. Getting a really solid game still isn't as easy to learn. You see more guys gettin…

So many guys that are 5's themselves want to date 8's and 9's. I'm not saying this is OP, but as a whole package including game, he's not up there otherwise he'd be getting laid more. I've never seen a couple where the girl is significantly better looking than the guy, unless it was obvious that the guy was loaded. It's possible, but the rarity of these couples should be an indicator that what these guys are trying to achieve is extreme on the difficulty level. You have to have a big transformat…

There's a learning curve to pickup. I think he should try smaller fry to mix it up and then go back up. In weight lifting, you can reduce weights. In games you can lower the level. In learning a new language, you start of with basic sentences. In pickup, you hit the ground running. He shouldn't quit outright, but I do feel he should take it a bit easier. I agree with you, he can focus on fixing problems, but only if he can deal with rejections for quite a while longer. It's likely that there are…

It's possible you need to lower your standards for a while, to build more experience. If you're only approaching 7's+, you might need to approach a few 5's from time to time.

Many women are capable of change. Many men are not capable of change. I think your intended title should be "More women than men are incapable of change". My pet peeve is extraordinary claims without qualifiers. From what I realized in life, it's usually futile to expect others to change, guy or girl. The only true change has to come from you.

As an athletic guy (weight lifting) who has done yoga, I thinks girls are more flexible, but definitely not stronger. It can look pretty awkward when we do some of the poses but I think that's just how our bodies are. The more muscles in fact, the less flexible we are.

I sure do set high expectations, especially for myself. Why do you think I've done so many approaches? I did it because I believed. Again, can you show proof? Please don't claim to know my situation if you haven't seen proof.

PThat's how I used to think. Do whatever it takes and try all things necessary that aren't ridiculous and of bad judgement (leg lengthening, height increasing soles, buying girls drinks and getting them drunk, buying a nice car, going out 5 nights a week and becoming a cold approach robot). I've done the practical things instead, like learning pickup, dressing well, etc... and haven't seen results. I'm sure learning picking will help some people, but not everyone will see results due to other li…

Those two things are exactly what I have done, primarily because they have the most return. I stay active in subreddits related to muscle gain and dressing better. Thanks though. I'm also aware of blind spots, which is why I ask my friends to critique me. My game is pretty decent. I get what you're saying. But I think you're assuming that I didn't believe simply because I don't believe now. I didn't do 500 approaches for any reason other than hooking up and getting better at pickup to eventually hook up.

I have a group of guy friends (2-4) that like going out to clubs together. We don't have 20-30 people and we don't have girls. We're also graduated from college, so logistics is a lot harder (although we do live in a big city). How do you suggest we go about starting to do this, practically speaking, and what kind of results do you think we could expect, since you have seen a lot of what goes down. Thank you.

Interesting. Seems like she was attracted to you to begin with. There are two transitions you mention that suggest she liked from the beginning. She went from not responding to your text to responding. From coffee to dinner at your house! I wonder if this attraction was due to looks more than you suggest it might be. You say she is "absolutely stunning" but you are a "decent looking guy" and you had "nothing in common". If I could ask you to reconsider, would you say your are on par with your gi…

those aren't mutually exclusive technically. a group of guys can have an afterparty lined up too. are you suggesting that a group of guys usually don't? and the reason why they don't is that they are just a group of guys going out, and probably hitting on girls.

You sound like religious people. "Have faith". Being highly realistic about expectations works better for me. Lots of people come in with unrealistic expectations to begin with. I want a hot chick without hard work. I choose to only let my mind believe what my body can achieve. How do I achieve more (than an ugly chick if I'm starting from zero)? I make small realistic improvements everyday, and if ever I feel I'm not improving for too long, then I know my mind is believing something unrealistic…

I prefer something more sustainable. In addition to approaching more, build a better lifestyle, work on your confidence, looks, etc... You'll feel much more abundant in all areas of your life, which promotes abundance in dating as well. Some guys are good looking enough that even if they they are a dud, if they approach a reasonable amount of girls, someone will want to fuck them. Less attractive guys should not rely on numbers, because they probably need to approach a significantly higher amoun…

The abundance mentality is not about faking abundance, but rather not being needy. So you're not telling yourself you have an abundance of something when you don't, but you're behaving in a way that exudes confidence and other characteristics of a guy who actually has abundance. Mimicking his behavior in a sense if you believe his behavior is what lead him to his abundance in the first place.

Sorry, didn't mean to be a naysayer of your success. What you've done is pretty incredible. Those results are probably making me jealous. However, the reason why I wouldn't like calling myself, hypothetically, a "master" is that it sort of minimalizes what some other guys who are not at your level, are going through. It's completely possible that they may be less attractive, and have to deal, with significantly more rejection than a more attractive man. Therefore, I think good looking men should…

By the way, if you consider yourself a "master", then you're implying that this is difficult to do. Am i right? However, as you mention in your post, it's really not. Just be honest and confident, don't be awkward. I'm going to go out on a limb and say what makes you fortunate to call yourself a master is your probable good looks or having a profile that is generally sought after. Unless you're doing something else that's setting you apart, and not sharing that with us ;)

That sounds great, but I'm having a hard time believing what exactly is attracting them to you now rather than before. Where, and when are girls coming up to you and what are you doing now that you didn't previously? Is it the way you stand, do you smile more, etc...? Or all of the above?
