Post-agricultural, monogamy-aligned society is very much a transactional sexual marketplace. Unfortunately, that's turned out to mean a woman's most valuable asset is sex, while a man's most valuable asset is what he can provide in terms of wealth and protection. Under these conditions, it drives most women subconsciously crazy that they have zero leverage over a man like that. They know they can never trap him and make him worship them the way they want to be worshipped.

This is such a dumb take. Homosexuality exists all over nature and has existed in humans since time immemorial. There is no "instinctual" dislike, it's only the shitty way that most people were raised. Nearly all tribal societies had their own words for "third-gender" people and they were an accepted part of those societies. In many cases they were highly-valued people. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third_gender

I'd recommend reading/listening to the book Sex at Dawn. Our needs and desires are much more complex than just needing a single monogamous partner at the end of the day, even though that's what we've been conditioned to think will cure all of our ills.

I don’t even know who I’m replying to anymore, but if me too was so “huge” then why didn’t the person I replied to even mention it? Because we all know it’s peanuts compared to what feminism accomplished in the previous millennium.

It sounds like you’re being intentionally obtuse about the question. Yes everything you said is great, but it’s obvious OP is asking about the superficial, paltry strides feminism has made in recent history, like the me too movement or the choice paralysis dating apps cause kind of thing. You know, modern concerns.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/21 10:41 PM

I think it's pretty well implied that OP is asking about feminism in this millennium. I don't think anyone on the planet besides the Taliban would argue against anything you're talking about.

Thanks for taking the time to answer. I don't really have a counter argument; you've explained it pretty well and I feel like any "try harder!" argument would be pretty dumb. Plus I realize that even the lowest SMV women usually have way more options than the lowest SMV men have, simply due to the sheer willingness of most guys to fuck anything. So most girls usually punch above their weight class while that's much more of a rarity for men. Anyway, thanks for answering. Best wishes, and I hope y…

Hmm, interesting perspective you have. Mind having a little debate/thought exercise real quick? If I made the argument that most incels are actually "volcel" by virtue of the fact that they refuse to do any number of things they're uncomfortable with, like put themselves out there and approach women relentlessly, diet/exercise like a madman, or just generally get out of their comfort zone, what would your retort be? Are you just convinced that there's some innate, magical thing about yourself th…

Most of 'em could probably get laid if they lowered their standards a bit, but most of them aren't willing to do that because they think they followed the "right" path and believe they deserve better.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 06:22 AM

Your med school comparison is a little clunky. From what I see of the incel types, I think a better comparison would be: It's like the job situation in America. Everyone has been fed the line over and over again "You have to go to a good college to get a good job and make a decent living. Even better if you get a Master's degree, then you'll make way more money." Now, recent graduates are finding that they have put all that effort in to "do it the right way", and their degrees aren't worth shit …

Aren't these meetings filled with religious bullshit, though? There's gotta be a better alternative than letting christ take the wheel.

Same advice for OP, keep the political bullshit to yourself. Nobody cares, nor do they want to hear it.

I'd add: Odds are, you will get cheated on at some point in your life. Accept that now, to hopefully save yourself some heartache later. It'll likely come when you least expect it.

How tall are you? Great physique, handsome, but you kind of strike me as a short guy. Height counts for a ridiculous amount of SMV in women's eyes. You're also probably coming off as a bit thirsty to them, judging by the tone in your post.
/r/askTRP08/05/21 11:53 PM
2

I think you're close. You're right about women, but for men I think it's not because they're burned out, I think men have everything mostly figured out by 30 or 40. We've already figured out their games and know how to play them for our benefit. What's left to discuss for us? Women on the other hand have grown up always having the upper hand but not knowing why, and as those tables slowly turn as we get older they seem to struggle figuring it all out and adjusting to their new reality.

True, but we can say that without the obvious, obnoxious hyperbole about "5 million+" years.
/r/PussyPassDenied13/03/21 10:08 PM

Earliest human remains found are 300,000+ years old, not 5 million. Any older than that and you're talking about other evolutionary branches on the tree. If you're going to make that exception, then keep going back billions of years to the tree trunk.

Sounds like you're in IT. Get into the IT department at a construction company, the pay is on-par with the field engineers there, usually around $80,000-$90,000 starting, and you move up quickly.

Since my mid-20's I've had a broken bone in my back that will never heal on its own (Spondylolisthesis Type 2A). I know that it sucks to adjust your lifts due to injuries, but it's something you need to experiment a bit more with to work around. And it never stops. My injury prevented me from ever doing shoulder-loaded squats again. But guess what? There's always the leg press that takes the pressure off the back, and there's single-leg dumbbell squats too. Same goes for shoulder injuries. Like …

Eh, fuck that. That's easy to say if you're either young or live a relatively painless life. I've spent a lifetime getting sports injuries that have left serious lasting pains and aches that will never go away. Plus a broken bone in my back that will never heal on its own. All I have is regret that I didn't do less injury-prone sports.

Small cities in mainland America have a huuuge percentage of overweight people. It's slightly better here in Hawaii, but not by a lot. Other countries usually have way less fatties. It's just how us Americunts roll, I suppose.

I was thinking about this just the other night. I'm very anti-therapy since I went as a young teen and quickly realized that the only solution to my problems was going to be me, and not some asshat sitting there pretending to care about my issues. Anyway, I was going through a rough patch a few weeks ago and started entertaining the thought of seeing a therapist again in my older age, but I couldn't get past the fact that it would be extremely hard to find one that takes into account the realiti…

You have a background in construction, which may help here. You may want to think about getting a degree in engineering. You can end up being a foreman or a superintendent. Oh sorry, I must’ve lost interest with the post when you got all Entertainment Tonight with it. I actually do have some firsthand insight on this though. I grew up as a white minority in a largely Asian community. What I’ve observed, anecdotally of course, is that most people tend to be more attracted towards the type of people they grew up around. I don't know what kind of imaginary golden era you're using as a reference point, but how is this any different than the 60's, 70's and 80's? Shit don't really change all that much as far as I can tell. Maybe it's just the Hollywood/Disney/'Murica version of "love" that most of us grow up with, which primes us for this kind of reaction once we see the world for what it really is.

Thanks for making my point for me. You’re the one operating off of the abnormal here. The rest of the world doesn’t give a shit about breasts like you do. The insanely puritanical view of the rapidly dwindling prudes of America is the only abnormality here. I know it feels like your social views are the center of the universe, but they’re not. You’re in the minority.

That’s not an argument, it’s just how you feel about something. Breasts are NOT innately sexual, you only think the are because you’re an overly sensitive puritanical pussy. Other body parts are erogenous zones for people too, why aren’t you complaining about people showing off their thighs, their ears, their feet in public? You have no argument, only emotional, Western-socially instilled nonsense.

I think since it's much harder for men to get laid, most of us pretend to be virtuous for not sleeping around and cheating on our girlfriends. But if men could get laid as easily as women can, most would probably drop the whole "virtuous" act and be just as sleazy.

That's a mild response to someone potentially fucking up your ear/hearing with a goddamn train horn at that range. Also, you're an idiot. This isn't a male/female issue. It's a fucktard/human being issue.

Well I see what you're saying now. Still, it feels a bit hard to sympathize with OP because he seems like his personality sucks, he's overly negative and not fun to be around, and is begrudging a stranger for simply getting laid more than he does. As unattractive as she is, she probably puts way more effort into her personality and appearance than OP does.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/16 08:11 PM
1

No it doesn't make any logical sense at all. How does the fact that this girl is laying ugly dudes have any effect whatsoever on OPs ability to get laid? If anything this bodes well for him, as it means even ugly dudes are getting laid. What exactly about that makes him angry?

Your premise that hunter-gatherer men were always out hunting is a false premise to begin with. In Dr. Christopher Ryan's book, "Sex at Dawn", there's a portion where they break down just how much time one of the only remaining hunter-gatherer societies actually spends hunting and gathering. I can't recall the exact details, but the gist of it was that they spend a laughably low amount of time hunting and gathering, leaving them incredible amounts of leisure time. The point of this analysis was …

For me personally, I've blacked out (black spots in my memory, no recollection), but I was on my feet for hours doing things that my friends had to tell me all about later. Is that what we're talking about, or are we talking about "passed out"? Because that's a different story altogether. There's no way to reliably tell when a person is passed the point of remembering when they're otherwise functional.

Admittedly a bit of hyperbole, but yes, there's plenty of tension as it is. Why are divorce rates so high, and the urge to stray from marriage present in nearly every human's thoughts?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/14 06:07 PM
2

The science is beginning to say that we just have strong social bonding mechanisms, period, monogamy aside. The fact that we constantly desire to stray outside of our socially constructed 2-part-bond is evidence enough that "pair-bonding" mechanisms are not nearly as strong as many make them out to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/14 12:00 AM
2

No, as long as there's a good amount of diversity in the gene pool. I can't seem to find it right now, but I've read that the number is quite low, well below 100, of active participants in the gene pool. What you're suggesting is direct parent-to-child mating or sibling-to-sibling mating, which could be avoided quite easily in groups that large.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/14 10:35 PM
5

I never said it was bad for society, in fact I said it was a social construct (and social constructs inherently reinforce society). Not sure what your point is here. I was merely answering OPs question, not trying to put you on the defensive about the societal merits of marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/14 09:55 PM
3

why do humans have such strong pair-bonding mechanisms? They don't, who says they do? Our instincts for polygamy and hypergamy promiscuity come from our 100-200 thousand years of evolution during our hunter-gatherer days, when we lived in groups of around 100 humans and mated freely within the group. Group-rearing was the norm, and paternity was not an issue until the arrival of civilization, agriculture, and the concept of ownership.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/14 09:36 PM

Exactly, because marriage is not natural. It's a social construct that goes against all of our human instincts.

Oh, I loved that book. That was really my first introduction to the reality of human sexual behavior about a decade ago. Still, according to research by Dr. Ryan (who is pretty damned red pill), what we've been able to observe from history's recorded encounters with hunter-gatherer tribes, up until the few we still observe today, is that many of them actually do practice this form of group child rearing. Paternity was not an issue, and the whole group was responsible for each other as a whole. What we're seeing here is most likely a vestige from our pre-civilization …

I don't know; I think one of the main reasons for such a backlash to TRP is that women DO NOT want men to have any kind of advantages in the dating game. I feel like they're conscious of this fact and therefore this is a conscious backlash on their part. But then again, it's entirely possible that they don't know why they're mad about this and it's their subconscious that doesn't want men to have an advantage. Either way, I think the root cause is the same.

You spent 4/5ths of that soliloquy essentially boasting of your past exploits, and then you turn around and ask people why they care about sex? The same reason(s) you did, perhaps?

Red pill/blue pill dichotomy aside, I don't understand how the fuck pulling the guy in front of the car helped her get out of the way any faster. If anything, tugging the guy into the way of the car should have slowed down her flight from the path of danger. What the fuck is this bitch talking about!?

I wouldn't call it strictly resentment. I'd say they're also redirecting another type of anger at these guys: the anger that they feel from doing everything "right" and still getting shafted. They're angry that society, movies, books, and music all presented them growing up with this false idea of the "right" way to treat and approach women. They play by these bullshit rules, and feel that it's supposed to work, and when it doesn't, they get mad at the whole system. It's that anger at the system…

You're an idiot. Sperm can live in the condom for hours in the trash can. And that's a much cooler place than a woman's mouth, unless you live on the sun?: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/pregnancy/AN00281

That study has been available for over a decade now, and I remember it circulating rather widely all over reddit just a couple years ago. I'm curious as to why everyone is just now picking up on this and presenting it like it's some kind of new discovery?

Christ, could you make that headline any more confusing?

Meh, I'd call it a set of observations. You're getting into weird, culty territory when you throw around words like philosophy.

Sounds like a fucking shit test to me. I had a girl claim that some guy touched her butt when we walked by him on the street, but she later admitted that it was a test. Luckily I didn't give a shit about her and laughed it off, but if I went into white knight mode, either me or the innocent guy could have gotten badly hurt. . . all for a lying shit-tester.

Good god you're a retard. What are you, some little princess that needs constant reinforcement and ego stroking? Leave that lame shit for the women. We are what we are, there's no need to be lying cheerleaders about it. We're not "FUCKING GODS", we're just simple human, male, pussy-lovers that are above average when it comes to getting what we want.

Just because lame-as-fuck women's ads are out there saturating our media doesn't mean we have to copy them and apply them to ourselves. It only makes us just as lame.

lol, fucking what? I didn't advocate anything. Why put words in my mouth? Fear and terror!? I must have missed that part in the article you linked. Seriously, what the fuck are you talking about?

Men are not here to fulfill your misguided expectations of what "desirable" should be. There's no reason to try to shame him by trying to claim he's a child and not a man.

God this reads like a fucking 4chan greentext. Why bullet point the whole story? Why is everyone becoming literary retards lately?

Give her a taste of her own medicine. Tell her you were also testing her to see if she'd ever test you. She failed, so cut contact with her indefinitely.

Poor kid's 23 years old and stuck in the matrix. There's no need to berate him, he's just ignorant. He needs help, knowledge and a red pill more than he needs our ire.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Availability of sex is has never really been a big concern of mine; it's easy enough to just call my exes when I need it, and I'll meet new girls every once in a while without going out and searching for it. I guess I'm not putting myself in most other people's shoes here. I'm actually quite lucky to have a couple of exes who are cool as shit and don't want a thing from me other than once-in-a-while companionship.

I assure you, I'm not trying to troll anybody here. You can check my post history. Just a guy trying to find his bearings in an ocean of new information. And I did not "promote" hypoagency, I only said that ignorance can be forgiven (in both men and women).

You have not "surpassed him as a man". If there's anything you should have learned from this sub, it's that nobody can tell you what a "man" is supposed to be. If you think you're somehow more of a "man" than he is, then you're no better than all the man-shaming feminists out there.
