Definitely doing this! After 10 months LDR I just moved in with my SO just over a week ago so I think this would be good for us :)

Are you prolife or prochoice? Prochoice. Would you personally get an abortion if you found yourself pregnant today? Yes. Would you have an abortion if you wanted to keep it, but your husband/boyfriend/other told you to have an abortion? I honestly don't think I'd want to keep it if I didn't have my SO's full support. I'm prochoice because I don't believe in bringing a child into the world who isn't wanted. I mean, if I went ahead with it I'm fairly certain my SO would be supportive regardless bu…

In an all-women Facebook group from my home state. Someone was talking about how she found out her "boyfriend" was actually part of a PUA group and someone mentioned TRP. I googled it, came across the subreddit, actually read the sidebar and then found my way over to RPW.

I would like to improve my cooking skills. My SO actually loves to cook (fortunately) but I would love to be able to cook or bake for him sometimes (I can cook basic things but he's really good so I feel too intimidated with my current skill level).

One of my most common ways of initiating is by starting with a massage. They always end with a happy ending.

The Good That skincare thread from two weeks ago! Because I finally decided to step my game up, ordered some products (which came last week) and my skin is already looking better! Finances seem to be more under control. The Bad Was a bit stressed out over a few things but nothing major. Kept it together for the most part. The Ugly Nothing! Bonus I never skip a Monday morning workout! I always get up and go first thing in the morning. I'm a much happier person on gym days than rest days.

I actually agree with you. And on top of this- once married don't suddenly do a 180 and become a completely different person.

Well I would consider having sex with someone else when in an exclusive relationship cheating.

How is going around having lots of casual sex in a woman's best interests if her goal is commitment with a good man? RPW are not necessarily female versions of TRP. If you are only interested in sex and not long term commitment you wouldn't be considered a RPW.

Well I think that depends on a few things. It is natural I think to get into a new relationship and compare it to your previous one. And if you were an "alpha widow" I guess you would find that no one compared to what you had before and sure, you might be depressed about it. But eventually I think you'd get over that. For a relationship to not work, usually there would be some telling factors that may not have been noticeable at the time. Once you allow yourself to sit back and think about it, y…

Well don't you naturally want to find the best man possible and the one that has the qualities you're most attracted to? And if these qualities happen to be mostly alpha then isn't this what you would look for? Part of your vetting process would be to find a man that will commit to you. Sure, maybe it won't work out but that's a risk when you enter any relationship. To not take the risk with someone that you're really attracted to and who meets most of your criteria would be silly- why settle fo…

I don't think cheating is ever acceptable but I would understand why a man in this position would cheat- he made the ultimate commitment but in exchange he got no sex which is not what he signed up for. He unlocked his commitment gates then she locked her sex gates. Naturally he's going to try and find it elsewhere. Does that make it ok? Not really in my opinion however, if I was the woman in this situation and my husband cheated on me and I realised that it was due to me always denying sex then…

I already keep a journal- analog. I started back last year in February when I moved across the world so figured it was an interesting point in my life to start journalling again (I've journalled in the past, sometimes for over a year but then I'd stop and neglect it. Prior to my current journal I actually don't remember the last time I kept one). I'm currently on journal #2 since last February having filled the first one up completely. In journal #1 I met my SO and I'm so glad I was journalling …

Honestly it doesn't really sound like things are perfect but of course I can only comment on what you've written. A couple of months after I moved in, he said I was different from what he originally thought. In a bad way. How long have you been living together? How was your sex life before you moved in together? It sounds like his opinion of you changed and like his attraction to you diminished with it. He has stated in the past that he doesn't feel a connection with me like he'd thought we had.…

I think this is a great post! My SO is always saying I'm his closest friend but it's completely different than if I was one of the guys. It doesn't offend me at all when he calls me a friend because I know that he doesn't mean it in a normal way if that makes sense. It's also important to him to have a friendship with someone he thinks he could spend the rest of his life with. I would call him my best friend but it's so much more than that and I agree with you- I think men and women really do ha…

I love this topic! SO is always saying to me that he'll never take me for granted and of course I say the same but I think it can be easy sometimes so miss the little things. Currently my relationship has gone into a LDR which is difficult but I think we're doing the best we can in the situation. So... Fitness! One of my favourite topics =D lol So I'm a gym junky. My gym opens at 5 and I get there as it opens. Back when I used to have to drive an hour to work I went to a 24 hour gym at got there at 4am... I prefer that to going after work when I'm tired and it's super busy though. I'm personally all about the weights- minimal cardio unless I'm trying to get leaner for an event or something. I love seeing the changes that come from building muscle. I train 5-6 days a week and train all body par…

I'm female. I lift and unless I'm trying to drop body fat for something specific (photoshoot, bodybuilding comp etc) I don't generally do cardio. Maybe 1 or 2 sessions a week of HIIT because I feel like it. I do not think cardio is necessary to maintain your figure at all. I think it's a great tool to use if you need to lose some additional body fat but to maintain? Lifting and a good diet is all you need. The diet has to be on point and that also includes NOT under-eating for an extended period…

Well I could be in the minority but personally I do go for big-boy bodybuilder-type swole. Keep in mind most bodybuilders don't walk around competition shredded with a striated butt year round lol. I am not attracted to that "fit" example at all. He's a skinny guy who needs to lift more. I had an ex that competed. I don't know any personally but I do know quite a few girls who wouldn't go for anything "too big" and by this I don't mean ripped but body-builder type. However most of the bodybuilder guys I know we really more into girls that lift and these girls generally don't. Personally I'm into really big guys but I lift myself. So for me I wanted to be in a position where I didn't need a man per se but where having the right man would add value into my life. Years ago I was not in a position to date (due to depression and also having basically zero self worth) so I took myself out of the dating scene (essentially going into monk mode although I didn't know what that was at the time) and spent a couple years working on myself. I basically didn't want to be in a position where I felt like I needed someone just so that I …

When he's in the gym and gets into the zone he turns into this angry person who looks scary and bangs weights and stuff. He swears at me sometimes (not in a mean way at all, as if I were one of his boys or something, it's his way of trying to encourage me for my heavier lifts lol). Then at home he also uses lots of pet names. I think his favourite is baby girl. Normally I'd probably find that weird but I love it when he says it. I have to admit that these days I'm lazy and actually use a meal delivery service for some of my meals (2 a day delivered, I eat 5-6 times a day). I have roommates but essentially I just fend for myself so this ended up being the better option as I get more variety in my diet (as if I cooked for myself it'd be chicken and sweet potato 3 times a day...). What I do though is cook a big batch of chicken, portion it out into freezer snaplock bags and freeze it so I'm set for a couple of weeks for on…

1) How did you find the red pill originally? In a Facegroup I'm in a girl was talking about a guy she'd been dating who she'd later found out was part of a pick up artist group. One of the responses mentioned TRP. I googled it out of curiosity and stumbled across RPW (the original). 2) Did it resonate with you from the start? Did it cause you aversion? I came across the original RPW reddit with negative connotations due to relating it to pick up artists and the negativity in the Facebook thread.…

Great article! And I really wish I'd read this a few years ago... One of the most disturbing things I see in modern dating is the burden of the exclusivity conversation falling to the woman—- that, at some undetermined time in the future, it’s her duty to ask, “Where’s this going?” Been there... and it's definitely not fun not knowing where the "relationship" is going but not knowing how to bring it up without sounding clingy or needy. Truthfully, my current relationship I slept with my now-SO e…

Despite the fact that he cheated, you made the decision to stay with him. Do you know how many times he cheated? Did he tell you or did you find out by accident? Did he cheat both before and after you were married (to your knowledge)? You made the marriage commitment having already known about the cheating and flirting (unless I am mistaken?). You say you don't want to leave him so I think the only real option is to accept that you chose to stay and to accept him for who he is...

Is it wise for women to favor passion over comfort in relationships, or vice versa? What do you prefer in your own relationships: passion or comfort? Like many people have said, I don't think the two have to be mutually exclusive. I also think I have a different definition of "passion" as I don't think of it as something which is necessarily toxic. I like a mix of both- I like the comfort of knowing where I stand and knowing that no one is playing games. I'm fine with routine (to an extent). One…

I'm a macro-tracker/calorie-counter. I personally find that eating 5-6 smaller meals works well for me but I definitely don't think this is necessary. I just know if I stuck to 3-4 bigger meals I'd get bored, think I was hungry and be more likely to go find food. This way all my meals/snacks are accounted for (I plan/prep in advance). I also train super early in the morning so I've already consumed 2 "meals" (one is just a shake with added carbs pre-workout) before 8am.

My superficial "nope" is someone who doesn't lift. He doesn't need to be super shredded or anything but just have visible muscle, not skip leg day and know his way around a gym.

He did but then I said it back straight away. I was so ready to say it but didn't want to say it first. He'd accidentally said things like "love you" at the end of the night and stuff but hadn't really been ready to say it until this time. We were about 6 months in and he was going through a tough time (this resulted in him recently having to move away for work and we're currently in a LDR). To really answer your question I feel like we need more information... You were in a LDR until recently- of your five years together how many these were distance? How recently did the LDR situation end? Did you start looking at other guys whilst you were still distance? And is this continuing now that you are no longer doing a distance relationship? Hi! I'm liftinginthemoment named because I love lifting things (weights mostly) and over the last couple of years I've been making more of an effort to just go with the flow and "live in the moment". Going with the flow actually took me from Australia, where I was born and bred, to Canada just over a year ago and 9 months ago I met the amazing man I am currently in a (still fairly new) LTR with =) Unfortunately due to his work situation we are currently (as of very recently) doing a distance rel…

I think this is an interesting discussion topic =) There was a thread in the old sub posted nearly a year ago about "Having the captain but not the marriage". I came across it because at the time I thought my SO was against marriage (turns out he's not as against it as I'd originally thought) and was trying to see if others had been in this situation. Quite a few women chimed in saying that they were unmarried yet in committed relationships and still pretty happy with how things were going. Ulti…

Mine is Physical Touch followed by Acts of Service and I really think this is true! My SO's is a tie between Physical Touch and Words of Affirmation. I think both of us had quality time third. For me, words of affirmation was towards the bottom of the list (by memory it was second last, just ahead of gift giving). I think SO's are quite accurate too as he is very verbal in expressing his appreciation and love whereas I am not. Since knowing his love language I have made a conscious effort to exp…

I've been a lurker for a while (was lurking for a few months before actually joining). I didn't really post much so never felt "censored" but one thing I noticed was on the topic of marriage- the views seemed to have changed. Personally I get up at 4.20 and am at the gym by 5 when it opens. Previously I went to a 24 hour gym and would get there at 4am. For me exercise is a priority so I make it fit. I also like to be able to go home and get ready rather than go straight to work. But I'll admit my hair routine is super basic. I don't wash it as I don't have time so I'll throw it into a ponytail and just straighten the bottom if needed. I spend more time doing my face and I don't mind my hair up anyway. I get home from…

My first job after university was in audit at a big accounting firm. Those hours in busy season were brutal! (Easily 12 hours a day but working 9-midnight was not uncommon.) When I first started pretty much my entire grad group was in a relationship. After the first year most of these relationships had ended. But after the first year whilst things didn't necessarily get better we all knew what to expect and it became easier to balance work and life. Most of us also realised that that life wasn't…

"I love how feminine you are" "I want for nothing with you- you do everything I'd want and I never even have to ask" I also agree with the facial expressions. For example the other day my SO went downstairs to grab something from the store so I did his dishes (we don't live together). The look on his face when he came upstairs made just that little act so much more worthwhile then he wrapped me in his arms and said "you really are amazing".

My SO always talks about how his four key requirements are really the basics- honesty, respect, trust and loyalty. In return I expect the same but I think these four things are really key to a good relationship anyway. Do I want to be a priority? Absolutely, but not the only priority- I wouldn't ask him to choose me over his family or his friends if they needed him more than me for example. Honestly my boyfriend ticks most of these boxes. Naturally- I'm fairly certain he's never heard of TRP. In relation to the bottom point though, he can commit to a LTR if he thinks someone is worth it and only then would he show his softer side. To answer your question- yes, honestly this is the kind of buy I'm attracted to in a general sense but he can't be an extreme fuck boy (must be at least willing to commit to the right person).

Whilst some of these qualities are those that I look for, overall this guy sounds boring. I went on a few dates with a guy who ticked basically all these boxes and I got bored very quickly. My SO randomly brought up today that one of the things about me that he was really attracted to was that I proven that I'm a fairly strong and independent woman that doesn't need to rely on a man. At the same time he also sees me as very feminine and loves that he is my rock and my protector. I don't think this would mean as much to him if I was the kind of girl who relied on a man for support. Overall I consider my dominance low (but towards the middle part of the spectrum, maybe a 4). I have h…

Supplements I briefly worked in a supplement store not too long ago whilst looking for a full time job after a big move and when everything was cost price I went a little crazy... Now that I pay full price for supps I keep my stash simple: probiotics fish oil BCAAs vege greens (greens powder) protein powder (I actually rarely drink this- i usually mix it with my oats or make stuff with it) Skincare This is lacking and something I need to improve... Great post! I'm now having fun applying these dynamics to real couples I know or even thinking about guys I've gone out with in the past. I would say I'm LH- I'm naturally a little submissive and not a natural leader and I like the idea of being able to trust someone enough to let them take the lead. Hip thrusts are my absolute favourite for booty building! I have someone who writes my workout programs for me but I had them in my last program with a resistance band around the knees for extra glute activation. Such a great burn! I had reps of 8-12 on these then on a different day I had just glute bridges but with reps of 15.

I've been with my boyfriend for just under 6 months and met his parents about 4 months in to the relationship. They live a four hour drive away but we went on a road trip and popped in on our way home and we also recently stayed with them for Christmas. If the holidays had come up sooner in our relationship then I likely would have met them sooner. My own parents live on the other side of the world so my boyfriend won't be meeting them any time soon haha. I think the significance can depend on a…
