I know it sounds bad to read as a woman but he didn't say anything wrong in my eyes now that I look at it. It's just the way most woman are. and if I did what he said originally I'd be in a much better place

Damn you're right. This makes so much sense. I have a question though, in the early stages of us talking I didn't text her frequently because I wasn't interested in potentially dating her at the time. So one day she ended up texting me, "BRO!.. WHY DON'T YOU TALK TO ME!". What would have been the correct response? Because I responded "lol my bad, what have you been up to" and from that day we started talking everyday. She also asked "why don't you set up a date for us". what should I have replie…

To answer your first couple bullets.. what girl is going to give it up to someone who she barely knows/talks to? Especially her with a lot of options? I was talking to her a lot because we were still getting to know each other more at the same time as us getting closer. I agree I should've done it over the phone but I didn't have enough balls to do so so I took the easy way out and sent a text. Also, regarding my decision till this day I still think it was the right decision because I was not re…

yeah I actually realized that and regretted trying to get her back so fast. I literally tried getting her back the next day, I was just caught off guard getting blocked because I still wanted to be cool with her or atleast friends. Is there anything I can do in order to "unlame" myself to her after scrambling to get her back? I know I messed up there.

this makes sense & maybe I'm still immature in my way of thinking but I feel like if I have a type, why not try to date within it or pursue that specific type?

I did mess it all up thats why I feel like this one hurts so much. She literally checked off everything I ever wanted in a woman and loved me more then I did her. Thanks for that, I for sure do hope I can find someone better or at the very least she comes to her senses and comes back.

I don't. But the thing about me is I think I'm a very easy person to work with, so I feel like anything that could possibly throw me off in a marriage would be revealed while we were dating. If anything else would come up in the marriage I don't think I'd have a problem communicating and trying to resolve the problem.

I agree wholeheartedly. The only issue I find with me is that since I prefer this method it's essentially harder for me to get over a failed talking stage since I invest a lot of time & emotions in them. I have a big heart and I usually only take people serious and give my time to them if I see myself having a future with them. So when it fails I feel devastated. and in this case since it was my own fault I feel even worse.

if you have a girl and she checks off everything you want in her physical appearance and her personality doesn't bother you, I'd think she's good enough for me. What's the point in looking elsewhere if you have everything want already?

so what's the solution? just wait around until I'm not hurt anymore and then start pursuing?

I can always do that but I don’t know if it’s worth trying since of what occurred that night. I don’t know if she’s really digging me enough to want to meetup.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
