I would not give people who are inconsistent my time or energy.

Maybe you should put this under /r/offmychest.

I hate to do this but I’m going to see if I can pull off ghosting this 41M pastor. He would text me every single day. But, after date #2, he texted me to let him know if I made it home ok and I told him I got home and he hasn’t texted me for the past 2 days now at all. I’m crushed but hoping to slowly fade out of his life at this point. I know this is bad but I don’t want to confront him right now. My heart is so broken and I will probably break down over this. 💔❤️‍🩹

Yeah, I understand where you’re coming from. Self work definitely is needed sometimes in order to progress.

This is a great post and so true. If people who have no hands and no legs, are disabled, are completely burned, etc. can find love, anyone can. No excuses at all.

No, definitely not.

Options come and go. Be careful when talking with multiple people— in that you may end up with barely one in the end.

That’s cool. 👍🏻

There’s no such thing as needy to text a person right after a date to tell them “hope you made it home safe” or “I had a great time with you today, hope we can do something again”, etc. You will be surprised how this actually gives people a good impression of you overall and will give you a boost in dating. “Not being needy” seems like you are trying to play games and act nonchalant. You may lose someone if you don’t grab opportunity as it presents themselves to you.

Awesome! That is a very critical part of dating.

Yeah, just thinking what may be sometimes the case. Either or, you will find someone better, I’m sure. Good luck!

You really gotta follow up with a girl right after the date man. Trust me on this. 😉

As a woman, I’m wondering whether she found another better guy after that date with you. Perhaps she went with another young lad? 🤔

Wow, desperate times really do call desperate measures from dudes.

50%? In my eyes, personality > money.

Try to not be too creepy. So, maybe strategically ask them a question in regards to the place or something they may be able to help you with. For example, “what would you recommend ordering from this place?”, then when they let you know, make some kind of eye contact, hold and smile if you can in somewhat a smooth way. Then try to see if you can make conversation after and get their number. Good luck!

Np! This whole post could be part of a book lol. I read through it and it seems like you professionally wrote it. 😊👏🏻

“The subtle art of not giving a fuck” is an amazing book!! Truly insightful and delves deep into layers you didn’t think of. 100% would recommend. 👍🏻🙏🏻

I think you should write a book/e-book. This was amazing! My gosh. 😯🙌🏻

You aren’t a psychopath at all. In fact, you being able to cleanly break it off and move on says you have a lot of self control and consideration of both parties feelings. It’s hard to break up with someone. It’s even harder to be the one to break it cleanly. 🙏🏻❤️

Yeah definitely! I found that most men if they enjoyed our time on the first date would plan something at the end of our first date before the date ended. Or talk about what we could do next. If they don’t, it generally never continued after the first.

My ex did this all the time. Works pretty good once we started making out.

First, if she is trying to get attention elsewhere, that’s a big red flag. Second, why are you trying to change someone? Either you like them or you don’t like them. If you are trying to change them, then you don’t actually like them the way they are. Good luck!

Depends on what your goal is in terms of interest.

I’m a 30 year old Asian woman and I can honestly tell you, I’d rather be a man than a woman at this point. If you feel shitty and all the societal pressures from being a 30 year old man, imagine how a woman must feel. Add a cultural stigma to this and bam, very tough. Add in the fact that you are past your prime and your biological clock is ticking and things are looking pretty hopeless. At the end of the day, be hopeful that you are a man because you can be an eternal bachelor like George Cloon…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
