I used to like watching Anna Beys videos on YouTube (especially her etiquette videos) until I learned she does it to help women attract a billionaire! It was so funny to me because she’s not even engaged and she never posts her boyfriend. I don’t think she is bad and some of her advice is pretty good but I am not her target audience. I had no idea about the Dr Phil story! So interesting and his wife is spot on! I also wouldn’t consider even dating my SO if he was lazy or didn’t intend to work ha…

Yes... this is thought provoking for me. Made me think so I do appreciate your insight. It’s true that everything is relative and to a woman of lesser means than me, I could be seen as vain and materialistic to her. I have my career and spent considerable amount of time getting an education and so I don’t fully depend on my husband but it’s true.... I try not to judge but somehow there is always a little judgmental in me I need to extinguish. Thanks a lot.

You’re so right and I apologize for coming across as Christianity being the only way to be a red pill woman. I meant to say that the principles found in religion (whether Christian, Jewish, Muslim) are very pro family much like the RPW lifestyle BUT it is not and should not be the prototype for a RPW way of life. I’m sorry if this doesn’t make sense (English isn’t my first language lol). Some Christians I have met are truly awful and very materialistic I do have to say. We should just focus on b…

Totally agree with you! You made a great point.

Me too! I’ve also received high quality gifts and my fiancé is very generous but I don’t always flaunt every single item. It’s a little crass if one does it often is what I think.

I am interesting in learning more about the capsule wardrobe and possibly starting one of my own. It’s nice to hear about RPW and minimalism, I am very much like that myself too.

Gotcha. I’ve heard of paid ads and I know it’s a way for influencers to make money. I’ll unfollow, thanks for the tip.

So true, agreed! When you simplify things, it makes daunting tasks much more relaxing and doable. Like everything in life really (or at least most things).

This is awesome!! I keep a cleaning calendar I created and taped behind a cabinet with the cleaning supplies. Each day has small tasks to do. For example, Monday’s I deep clean the kitchen. Tuesday’s are laundry and floor cleaning day, etc. At first I had to look at it each day but now it’s become a habit. Doing these little things helps free up the weekend so there aren’t any chores to do and we can spend our time relaxing and/or hosting friends instead. I will check out this cleaning app. Than…

Yep! It’s awful. I have to get better at not generalizing like that.

This was a good read. I needed this today. I just realized earlier today I was talking with a girlfriend over the phone and the words “you know how men are...” (in a negative context) slipped out of my mouth. The old, bitter me made an appearance and I have to kill that inner critic.

We are pretty similar then! I just had to google what ABD meant haha. That’s pretty badass you went through with your schooling and maybe when your kids are older you can finish your program if you wish. If not it’s cool too.

I think you just need to see it as a perfectly legitimate job. If you were to hire a nanny to take care of your baby while you went to work, she would need to get paid. Minimum $15 an hour. Your time is valuable and you ARE working. In addition, you would also need to hire a cleaning lady and a home chef, so add in their salaries on top of that. Now do you realize you are not a “leech” in any way shape or form? I went to law school, but I have never been extremely career driven either. It probab…

Yay that is awesome! What kinds of cute dress do you like wearing around the house? I think I need to shop around for new house dresses. I tend to mostly wear leggings and a cute casual top at home but it’s nice to change things up. Anyway keep up the great work :)

My soon-to-be husband has told me the same thing. I am a lawyer, although I’ve never practiced. I probably will, but right now I am not. He’s also highly educated and has told me that my intelligence and pursuit of my education is very attractive to him and it’s an accomplishment in and of itself, whether I choose to work or not is up to me. He’s stated he would rather a woman like me than a girl with little or no education. He’s able to introduce me to colleagues and supervisors and not feel wo…
