She's my friend so it's not weird, and I really shouldn't be thinking about dating tactics here considering this isn't dating. Edit: it worked lol. She read my message the instant it sent and it honestly gave off the vibe that she was reading our past messages (or at least like waiting for an invite or something) but I can't say for sure, but she replied instantly.
