I’m so sad that no one is talking about this. How backward a world we live in. These men are just as afraid as anyone, they deserve refuge as much as anyone, yet they will be refused it on the basis of their gender. I don't get what these 'egalitarians' think this sort of shit proves. Why would they want women to be viewed as the primary victims of domestic violence? I have a problem with the fact that 99.9% of feminists massively downplay men’s issues, misandry, female supremacist beliefs, and female privilege, but I’m otherwise fine with them. I think their hearts are mostly in the right place. Some of them (such as the subhuman scum in the above image) are bad eggs, but trying to use stuff like this to discredit all feminists is like looking at the bad players in BLM and trying to discredit that whole movement.

I’d nearly agree with the OP if she was actually talking about female issues, but as we all know so many issues feminists claim to be gendered, like domestic abuse, aren’t. If you’re a victim of domestic abuse at the hands of a man, it’s sexist to make assumptions that it’s somehow related to his gender, just like if you were assaulted by a black person it’d be racist as fuck to claim their violent behaviour is related to their race.

It’s because feminism has led people to believe that men hold a monopoly on political power and social privilege, and have oppressed women because they hate them and view men as superior. You don’t have to merely be an ‘ally’ per se, many of the most famous men’s rights advocates are women. I’m a trans woman and a leftist, I care about the rights of others, and that extends to men. The movement is particularly accepting towards women because people tend to ignore men who try to talk about men’s rights and just assume they’re right wing nutjobs, but they’ll listen to women.
