Yeah I’ll stick with fun girl for now maybe some day I’ll make the switch

For sure but in order to save time in my very busy life I operate over trends I’ve mostly seen. Of course if there’s an outlier that I see potential With I’ll give it a shot, but yeah if I’m seeking out a partner I’m gonna go with what has worked for me emotionally and physically in the past Don’t think that’s that dumb but I’m no genius

What
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/21 12:27 PM

Me too, I’ve had good convos with everyone in all the groups

Yes but we all know this is basically the grounds for TRP since that sub isn’t around but yeah in a perfect world yes

I didn’t get spat on I had a spat it’s another word for a fight yikes go spit your factual relevance elsewhere

You make some ok points but your bitterness clouds it all, I know dating is an emotional thing but no one wants to listen when it’s just an attack, presumably on me when I literally have no affiliation Please relax and reevaluate

Agreed but it’s the pot calling the kettle black with this sub. Two sides of the same coin

Go check my everyone values looks more than they want to believe post lmao

Lmao I agree it’s so hypocritical. I just got in a argument the other day with a guy who said it was fucked up I would prefer my bf to be less attractive than me. I explained that “hot” dudes had burned me before and guys who felt “lucky” to be with me treated me a lot better And he was like omfg you just use men to simp for you and blah blah blah So these men bitch and bitch we only care about looks, but when someone does fit that idea, we’re still shitty because we’re settling So by that logic…

Yes that’s exactly the point I was trying to make!

This is kinda not relevant but kinda is. Someone told me once that passion about politics in general was not important in compatibility than what “side” you were on. Not sure if that is true in practice but like even if your kind of opposite if your both passionate you will value you that while you’d be less compatible when one person is very passionate and the other person is apathetic or has no opinion. Obv some issues are dealbreakers but just an interesting point I heard once, don’t even rem…

I kinda feel like acting “chill” and sex positive to get a relationship is the female equivalent of acting “nice” to get sex lmao idk if that makes sense it’s just a thought Because they’re both kinda disingenuous and just for ulterior motives
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/21 08:21 PM

Makes sense
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/21 05:30 PM

Hmm think there’s some debate in the scientific community. I thought so too but after studying nutrition a lot of my professors seem to disagree

Lmao I love this comment you right
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/21 07:05 AM

idk because whenever I see statistics on weight I’m skeptical because BMI is pretty wack
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/21 07:05 AM

I could do that, but I guess in a way I am trying to see who will put forth the extra effort since I am in the position to be choosy
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/21 06:29 AM
2

Yeah I just think the guy has more to gain socially from the idea that he has a much hotter wife than a woman with a much hotter husband. That’s just my take though
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/21 06:29 AM
1

Lmao what do you mean
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/21 01:40 AM
1

Yeah kind of but I don’t view it as such a negative. It was more like choosing what I value more being with someone super attractive or being with someone who treats me super well. It’s a sliding scale and I’m just trying to find that sweet spot like all of us.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/21 01:00 AM

Yeah I’m mostly referring to a LTR, but I have slept with a semi unattractive dude and you can look at my comments if you wanna hear that story but ya lol

Thank you!!!

How would I know that
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 10:39 PM

I’m not saying I deserve it, I never said I deserve it, I don’t believe I deserve it but unfortunately it’s what happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 10:22 PM
3

It is but in this case the guy made up for my lack of physical attraction by completely drawing me in with humor, confidence, and charisma and it literally was a great time even though I wasn’t originally physically attracted to him. Isn’t that what you want woman to do? Look past the physical, and yet everyone’s saying acting like I’m a criminal, believe me the guy got what he wanted he wasn’t a victim
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 10:19 PM
11

Yes I do. I’m trying to be honest with you guys but y’all really just don’t get it. You beg and beg for woman to be open about their intentions and then when they say it, it’s all hate So I can’t go for hot guys cause it’s shallow and I can’t go for not as hot guys cause it’s narcissistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 10:15 PM

Sometimes I’m a teacher so it’s not hard to make more money than me
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 09:45 PM

Not attracted to their looks. Do you think that’s the only thing that warrants attraction? I feel bad for you
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 09:45 PM

Lol this is the precise reason I’m over the chad type 😭😭 How do you think I learned I wanted to be the more attractive one lmaoo
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 09:03 PM

You caught me imma bitch
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 07:33 PM

Bro I would never say that to someone. It’s just the thought process that’s running through my head. You’re kinda daft
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 07:17 PM
-1

We are talking about casual sex only I’m sure some guys wouldn’t like this but those simply aren’t the type I would go for. The specific guy I’m thinking of was very open to me that I’m the hottest whether it’s true or not it was just part of the fun of the experience and was almost like a role play thing. It was very powerful for me. I think you’re taking my comment a little too seriously, the guy is always in on the joke with me
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 06:03 PM
5

100% I’d feel really insecure
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 05:33 PM
1

Makes sense. I have no delusions about the fact that it’s much easier to be a girl on dating apps. I’m glad I don’t have to deal with that, I try to give everyone a chance m, but I also have to do the effort/investment thing
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 05:33 PM
20

I’m either controlling the poor ugly simp or I am the poor ugly simp lmao so yeah
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 05:31 PM
17

Yep I agree with all you said. I was very clear about that last point, that’s exactly why I like it
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 05:30 PM
5

True. There’s men of all levels and attractiveness who would never cheat, I don’t wanna generalize too much
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 05:28 PM
1

I was thinking more in terms of a relationship like the OP mentioned
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 05:20 PM
2

Sure let’s go with that You make it sound a lot more intelligent than I meant it For me casual sex, yes LTR, no
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 05:18 PM
1

Yeah that makes sense, I probably would But the average guy is probably better off just starting with something interesting, I’ve had quite a few that have totally caught my eye and I ended up going on dates with people I was on the fence about
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 05:17 PM
9

Yeah I think that is a big part of it, if a guy thinks he can do better, he will try to do better
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 05:03 PM
3

Yeah but I’ll be honest I’ll probably never respond to that message. Not even being cocky but when I use dating apps, I get dozens of messages a day, I simply have to be selective and that won’t make the cut
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 05:02 PM
10

yeah I can agree with that, casual sex I’d probably just want the most attractive and fun person possible However not always. I will tell you there is something powerful about knowing you’re the hottest girl a guys ever been with and how they treat you so I’ll just say that lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 05:01 PM
11

Because I’ve dated some guys “out of my league” and it almost always led to a power struggle, I don’t like the feeling that he’s settling and often these type of guys who have lots of options, will treat you like that, an option I’m not saying I would go for someone I deem unattractive, but someone that is close to my level or lower, will probably be more appreciative of me and in turn treat me better. It sounds fucked up but, I want him to feel like he’s the lucky one that I chose him When done…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 04:54 PM
23

This rhetoric is so tired. a lot of woman including myself much prefer to be the better looking one in the equation.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 04:31 PM
5

It’s no secret that woman get A LOT of messages, so you kinda have to grab me from the beginning. Like I don’t wanna do Hey Hey What’s up Nothing hbu Good just working What do you do? Construction Nice that’s cool. This is how a solid 80% of my matches go. Am I guilty in this equation too, for sure but even when I do try to spice it up (Ill say something like what’s one question you’re dying to ask me or something of the sort) I still have guys saying “idk” or “what do you do for fun” Most women…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 04:10 PM
2

That’s true, I thank god everyday being thick is in style lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 04:00 PM
2

I mean are those things gonna put you way ahead, yes unfortunately Just like being skinny/ facially beautiful/ blonde/got tits will put you ahead as a woman But I’ve dated guys who don’t fit that at all because we had insane chemistry from the start so it happens
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 03:48 PM
2

For you maybe. I’ve had very close friends tell me they wanted to fuck me (they were usually under the influence but still) so bad or whatever out of nowhere. So it can definitely be a goal of some, but yeah I’d say mostly if they know you well they’d be looking for more of a relationship however I warn you whether or not you are after sex it might be perceived that way
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 10:30 AM
1

Pretty much, But it’s not just looks, it’s all around vibe, perceived availability and partnership, But dudes will say it’s all just whether he’s buff or something
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 10:27 AM
0

Hmm not sure if it’s the opposite? Let’s say a friend comes up to me and introduces me to their brother. Based off Initial impact/impressions, attractiveness, and “vibe”I can mostly decide whether there is romantic potential there. Those I don’t see much romantic potential with would be placed “in the friend zone” of course, there is a scale, if I’m semi attracted to you, but then upon getting to know you realize we have chemistry, you have a good job, are kind, intelligent, these things can mov…

Pretty much lmao but I tried my best
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 04:29 AM
6

It really is, I honestly don’t even truly know how I feel about it, so I can see how it can be confusing for guys
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 02:41 AM
17

This such a tricky question for me honestly. I understand the idea that it’d be better to be friends with someone before you start dating, but I can tell you very few things are worse for me than finding out a male friend I enjoyed spending time with had ulterior motives and the ensuing awkwardness I’m gonna be honest with you the friend zone is totally real. I’d say a solid 90% of the time I know upon meeting whether I see you as a friend or dating, and it’s extremely hard to move out once that…

I wanna say my 6 green flags for men
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/21 02:20 AM
3

I get what you’re saying, I’m just more picturing when a woman is sexy they’ll be this rhetoric like ohhh she’s just looking for chads or whatever, like nah she’s just attractive we literally know nothing about what she’s looking for.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/21 06:24 PM
1

Makes sense to me, I can definitley see how light negging can be “refreshing” so to speak Thanks
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/21 06:21 PM
1

I agree
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/21 05:36 PM
5

I agree, but just being an attractive woman seems to translate to “attracting fuckboys” on this page Meanwhile they’re just existing
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/21 05:31 PM
3

You can’t take the hypocrisy in this sub too seriously cause it will drive you crazy, The amount of times I’ve had dudes berate me, say I’m stupid, ugly, slutty, manipulative, crazy, delusional or whatever but then literally slide into my Reddit dms to chat me up or ask for my snap…..I like it here a lot I get a ton of good discussion most of the time but it can be a big yikes sometimes
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/21 01:50 AM
12

I do believe that the kind of rhetoric in the media that woman are perfect goddesses that don’t need to change anything about themselves is harmful to both genders I could go into great detail with what I mean but I’m gonna hold off cause I don’t feel like it lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/21 01:38 AM
1

Hmmm Idk if I understand you right, I think having high self esteem is good but being self aware is also important. It’s not healthy to have a negative view of yourself but I understand how being realistic can help you be better and find a match that is on your level
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 10:20 PM

Lol I like this analysis thanks for your perspective
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 09:22 PM

I’ve wrote this a bunch of times but there’s a huge difference between negging and playful banter

You’d be surprised I think Lolol
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 07:50 PM

I’ve discussed this several times in my comments it’s a lot more than playful banter Theres a big difference and I’ve given examples in other comments if your interested Thanks for your input
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 07:49 PM

I agree for sure, a little banter is healthy but it can become toxic so wuick

You’re deff right, these people pray on the vulnerable, glad your confident enough for stand up for yourself

Read through my replies I’m tired of addressing this same point lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 06:08 PM
1

I’m pretty open with compliments and affection as words of affirmation is my top love language. Maybe that’s why negging affects me so deeply I’m definitely the type of person who believes that two people in a relationship are also just that, two independent people and should have lives outside of their partners and this has gotten me in trouble in the past as it’s often seen as lack of dedication. I am a straight forward person and am a deep thinker about things(why I post on Reddit all the tim…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 05:03 PM

I definitely can blame whoever I want lol whether you agree is up to you To me as I’ve said several times in this comment section there’s a huge difference between playful banter and negging and you can read through my responses if you want As far as your last point, I totally agree that “ manipulation”is a healthy and normal part of relationship creation and is open to interpretation(is wearing makeup manipulation?) Negging is a lot more extreme and harmful and you seem intelligent so I’m sure …
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 04:56 PM
1

For sure, unfortunately there’s a lot of woman out there including myself who can fit that description occasionally if not entirely
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 04:30 PM
1

Hmm interesting, the way you put it seems entirely healthy and reasonable but not what I considered to be negging Negging can often be a little more overt. Like just an example I had a friend and a dude told her he’d never fuck her because she’s overweight, all of a sudden my friend is going out of her way to impress this dude and shocker they end up sleeping together Did the guy just grow to like her or something? Perhaps. Was he negging from the start? Perhaps. I think what you described is a …
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 03:44 PM
1

I’d say it’s mildly manipulative like negging, A certain amount of manipulation is a part of all dating and can be healthy, or it can not just something to be aware of
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 03:41 PM
1

You’d be surprised lmao I just saw a post on seduction about this as a popularized pick up method. Makes the girl/guy wonder why they aren’t paying attention to them and they tend to overcompensate. It’s probably more subtle than I made it out to be but yeah I’ve seen it happen
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 03:23 PM
1

Sure
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 02:56 PM
2

It’s a lot more common than people on here think if you ask me
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 02:23 PM
1

Agreed. It definitely can be super fun and playful for both parties, it can also be super harmful Sounds like I’ve fallen for people exactly like you before lmao that push and pull method is unmatched in my opinion
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 02:23 PM
2

100% unfortunately there’s a quite a few of us out there
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 01:03 PM
1

What’s your favorite? Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 12:51 PM
1

I had a boyfriend like this as well. The one I talked about in my post. He was the same way, It used to piss me off, but your right those moments where he would give me a compliment were unlike anything else, I definitely still feel like this tactic works
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 12:50 PM
1

Agreed. As an older person in much less likely to fall for it or find this kind of behavior to be successful However as a teen….yeah I was that girl constantly looking for validation from men who treated me like trash I’m so glad you are confident enough to not tolerate this type of behavior anymore but there’s a lot of women, especially young women who will and even glamorize it
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 12:48 PM
2

Yeah, I hear these kind of stories a lot, it’s quite easy for woman(especially those who may have low self esteem) to crave validation from men especially those they feel have wronged them Hell I do it all the time on this fucking sub when dudes say shit about my looks or opinions and then I suddenly find myself trying to convince them I’m intelligent or whatever it’s so fucked. Now that I’m older I can look at it and be like what the fuck am I trying to prove to this guy
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 12:46 PM
3

I agree, it’s still kinda negging though whether it’s overt or subtle
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 12:42 PM
1

Woman are definitely guilty of using these tactics all the time as well. Glad you have enough self esteem and respect to walk away, unfortunately not everyone on earth is quite so confident
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 12:41 PM
1

Interesting take, I definitley don’t interpret liking a man as manipulation. I like many men all the time in many different spaces and very few have negging involved in anyway I see what you mean there’s a certain amount of “manipulation” in all dating spaces, like woman wearing makeup, or when people put their best foot forward in first meetings and it’s not necessarily harmful However, To be honest I think I have access to plenty of attention and affection, just not a huge fan of men saying st…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 12:39 PM
1

It can be more playful depending on the situation. I agree it works as well
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 12:32 PM
1

Idk I’m dumb
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 05:33 AM
3

Yes yes yes exactly playful banter is super fun and healthy it’s when it’s done with the intention of coercing you to feel like shit so you sleep with someone that I feel some type of way about it
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 05:22 AM
3

For sure, but that exactly my point it’s the most vulnerable that it’s used on
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 05:06 AM
3

Interestinggggg
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 04:53 AM
3

Is this negging? I view this more as playful banter not harmful at all. I view negging as a lot more intentionally manipulative. For example I had a friend bragging to me the other day that this guy was telling her that he would never fuck a plus size girl and then they slept together and she was all proud she like converted him or whatever and changed his mind I was just like girl I think he just said that to lower your self esteem so you’d go for it That’s just my take on it though
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 04:43 AM
0

It’s very idealistic but there’s nothing wrong with that. I don’t like the mind games either but they are a ever present and crucial part of dating whether we want to believe it or not I agree though once you truly care about some one the games aren’t important
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 04:39 AM
2

I’d say it’s mildly manipulative when the objective is to achieve something from the gal. It’s not the same as your guy friends because the objective isn’t to knock them down a few pegs so they’ll fuck you/date you/talk to you as you alluded to your brothers friend doing If that’s not your objective than yeah it’s just some ball busting Believe me I’m not a pussy about some playful banter just merely making an observation about what I’ve seen amongst my younger self and my friends
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 04:36 AM
1

Interesting take. I can definitely see how it can be refreshing when a lot of times guys are just falling all over you or something, but it’s still negging and a little manipulative lol but we’re all guilty of things like that haha thanks for your story
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 04:17 AM
4

That was me good nature ball busting
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 04:15 AM
7

How many times are you gonna edit this shit lmaoo
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 03:55 AM
1

🤐🤐
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 03:37 AM
2

Deff agree about the insecure thing. There’s a big distinction between making a comment with the intention of manipulation and bantering but that’s just in my experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 03:36 AM
2

Gotcha gotcha. I agree it can be playful…until it’s not lol thanks your input
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 03:29 AM
0

I just recently read that book, very interesting. I kinda agree with you, there is something so enticing about it at least at the start…but in the long run I’m not so sure
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 03:24 AM
1

Wait so you think it works or it doesn’t work? I agree some banter can be playful I’m speaking of more of an intentional use
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 03:22 AM
1

Are you a pickup artist? I’d love to pick your brain lol
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 03:15 AM
3

Deff that’s why it’s usually done in private
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 03:09 AM
4

For sure. It can definitley be hit or miss, although I will argue it works more on woman with low self esteem than an inflated view, as they are more likely to feel the need to prove them self.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 03:04 AM
0

Yep. As an adult I view it as pathetic, but as a teen/young adult, I had low enough self esteem to fall for it and I think a lot of people an relate.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 03:00 AM
4

Oh definitley. I think that’s exactly the point, to prey on low self esteem. It was said in jest when we were just meeting eachother so it wasn’t a serious conversation, and honestly didn’t feel important until I grew into myself. Now as a grown woman I can see it for what it is but as a teen I couldn’t, and I think a lot of people can relate.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 02:59 AM

I think you’re right. I definitley like a little banter. But this plays into the stuff I see all the time about how woman don’t like nice guys or whatever it’s a lot more nuanced than that
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 02:51 AM

I think people confuse “nice” with “treats me well”
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/21 07:10 PM

This analogy honestly makes perfect sense to me
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/21 04:58 PM

Well I’m deff the type who falls fast. I would meet a guy go on one date and wanna spend every night with him. I’d text 24/7
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/21 11:36 PM

Interesting to hear your take thanks for the response
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/21 11:10 PM
2

Yeah this is kinda how I feel too
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/21 10:54 PM
1

Yeah I think that’s a hard truth I have to accept
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/21 10:42 PM
2

Yeah I can definitely see that. Wish I could break out of it. Just feels like I have to “play the game” so to speak If I was acting how I truly wanted to act I’d probably be considered absolutely insane so it is what it is
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/21 10:41 PM
1

This felt kinda pointless beyond being mean-spirited but glad things are working out for you
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/21 10:38 PM

Yeah I did
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/21 10:36 PM

Good points..thanks for your input
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/21 10:36 PM

I do lol but when I get late responses apologizing i wonder….I wanted to so I did….what’s your excuse you know what I mean
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/21 10:31 PM
1

Damn I’m Sure it happens but that’s definitely not the environment I create. More often than not I’m The one reaching out more
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/21 10:30 PM
1

In some ways yea. Like I’m always looking to justify why a guy isn’t reaching out as much as I’d like. But idk
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/21 09:40 PM
2

Same. That’s the only reason why sometimes I’m not sure when a guy isnt reaching out. Like of course I wish he would and he should but like idk there’s a lot of things at play but I also feel like this is my way of coping
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/21 09:35 PM

This makes sense to me kind of how I viewed it but had trouble articulating thanks!!

the point I think the person who originally posted about men being intimidated by her is that sometimes men(probably women too just speaking from my experience) will dislike a woman for what they view as a positive trait Like oh you work too hard, you’re too sexy, you’re too kind to strangers, and it’s like if a woman values these things she feels like woah woah these are things you should like about me so it feels like they’re just intimidated or scared or feel inferior when in reality they mig…

Definitely can see that. Best thing we can do is just try to be aware of all these outside influences when figuring out what we want
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/21 10:33 PM

This a tricky topic for me. I see your point, every woman should have the choice of the life they want. However it’s so hard to tell if we really want this in our hearts or if we are still even after all this time conditioned to feel this way by society. What I mean is do I really feel a calling to be a stay at home mom or is that more deeply internalized pressure by society who has been saying since the beginning of time that that’s our only “purpose”. Everyone can choose but I just try to be e…

I know what you mean. I said it simply but I just mean getting a dude to have sex with me is not a challenge I (not trying to brag) can find someone if I wanted within the hour, but suddenly when I don’t wanna have a sex or if along the way I want commitment, now that’s the hard part. I’m sure it’s for a variety of reasons whether I’m just not their type, they don’t find me attractive or they actually just don’t want a relationship, but getting a guy to stay committed to me and “date” me is a lo…

I’ve seen this too im sure there’s many different methods

I totally agree. Dating is so much just a “game” and the winner is who can play it the best. I’m definitely part of it as well. I use sex to get dates, attention, and validation and say I’m okay with it. I always play like Idgaf about the guy but I’m hiding that I want a relationship in order to keep a chill persona. The guys I choose (yeah I know I should choose better) future fake me and butter my up with niceties until I put out, secretly knowing they don’t see me as girlfriend/wife material …

Occasionally but I also feel like it’s a “duff” situation where a guy will approach the most “attainable” of a group for an in so that doesn’t necessarily mean anything Yes I get a lot of attention on dating apps but I’m not gonna pretend they are a type of guy I want or one that treats me well (I know this statement will be controversial but oh well) I feel like guys usually just swipe on everyone and see what sticks Absolutely not. Can I get them to me fuck me? Yes. can I get to them to date m…

Yes it sounds so shitty to say but a friend of mine who honestly I don’t think is super attractive, and is super dramatic and honestly problematic, has hopped from boyfriend to boyfriend since we were young. I think it’s because she’s always actively seeking out a relationship. Shes a nice person I’m just always amazed with how quick she can find a new guy to commit literally days after a breakup.

Not sure if this helps but to me apathy is a lot worse than failure. Nothing is more unsexy to me than a guy or anyone really who just doesn’t care. Skill and talent and intelligence, they’re all great but if you don’t have drive they are wasted and that’s much worse than trying stuff and failing. However we can’t be naive and ignore that women and everyone really want to be with someone they see a future with but that can be anything really I’d much rather discover and create with someone who c…

Definitely think it’s fairly even. We all manipulate to get what we want whether we like it or not sometimes even without meaning too. Even playing it cool or being “chill” in a relationship is manipulating in some ways. More often than not I(24f)use sex for attention and validation in the hopes of finding commitment and men use “future faking” to get sex from me. To me the only solution to manipulation is complete transparency which is rare in my experience, but being more open about what I wan…

It definitely takes up some space in my head. I get caught between feeling upset that I’m not that special or attractive and just enjoying the moment/experience for what it is….

True. I’m a happy person I have a great life just have never been able to nail the relationship part and that makes me feel like I’m missing out. But I’ve had a lot of fun and good times and learning along the way so I guess it’s worth it. Thanks for your advice and stuff

Yeah I’m just tired of the highs and lows. The euphoria of a great time followed by the emptiness of no true connection. I knew people were gonna roast me on here but it was worth it to get more real feedback than my friends who just act like it’s always just the guy being an asshole. Which maybe sometimes it is but I play a role too, a big one in what I allow to continue Thanks for your advice I’m a deep person and take everything anyone comments pretty seriously in trying to better myself

I mean I’m no model or comedian but I feel like I’m fairly average and at least can hold a conversation and be introspective and shit. It definitely feels like I’m the one putting in way more effort in my situation but thanks for your input

That sucks so much
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/21 08:40 PM

Lmao you caught me. I think I’m pretty average looking but deff could improve I think I’m gonna work on myself for a bit before trying to date more
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/21 08:38 PM

I appreciate you being real with me I don’t get that a lot I’m surrounded by people that I feel like are all just acting. I’m a really deep person and spend a lot of time thinking about life/myself /improvement that’s why I’m always looking for peoples outside opinions and stuff in places like this because I want to be better Thanks

I mean I have a profile picture I’m getting an overwhelming response that I’m average which is reassuring to me as I always viewed myself as far below.every guy I’ve asked has had overwhelmingly positive things to say but who knows if this is still an act because they may want to have sex with me again in the future. I’d even have a guy cum super quick than be super upset about it and ive consoled him so I feel like it’s kinda of funny or ironic maybe that he ghosted me afterwards even though I …

Not really. Always kinda just continued the “I’m down for anything cause I’m a cool girl” act. I’m gonna start being more open about what I’m looking for with myself and my partners.

Woman do the same as well, I think dating is like a solid 65% of just pretending to think people are funny

This has all been really helpful and really what I needed to hear but wasn’t getting from my friends and family who were just trying to make me feel good. I appreciate this subreddit because y’all have actually given me real and helpful information, even thought it may be “hurtful” on a surface level. I posted this in dating advice and pretty much everyone was “on my side” and saying I was in the right and everything which I just didn’t buy clearly. This was definitely helpful in what I was look…

I’m 100% legit. I came to Reddit because I’m tired of friends and family just repeating the same stuff about finding mr.right someday, and I came to this thread specifically because I wanted a real fucking take on my situation.

Thanks for the honesty I appreciate it. Obviously I came to this thread knowing people were gonna roast me but I was looking for real fucking commentary and not just my friends saying “you’ll find mr right some day!” You’re right about everything, I don’t know why I fall for this every time or why I let men use me. I’m sure it’s because just like many woman I have low self esteem and I crave the connection and intimacy. But you’re right it’s just fucking dumb that I keep repeating this same cycl…

Yeah I deff need to slow down. I’m 24
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/21 01:17 PM
1

Yeah this is 100% it. It’s not like it’s really intentional, but I’m always lying to myself. Like I say I’m fine with just a hookup but secretly am hoping they’ll fall in love or something which just isn’t realistic
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/21 01:16 PM
1

What is that
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/21 07:31 AM
1

Yeah. I think you’re 100% right. It’s just hard because obv I like having sex with these guys in the moment. It’s so fun and exciting and every time it feels like this time it’s gonna be different. But I always end up feeling empty. I definitely need to reevaluate my methods
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/21 07:30 AM
2

Yeah I think that’s it for sure. I feel like the “hotter” guys just fuck me because it’s easy and convinient and I’m not a lot of work for them. but they always know I’m never good enough to date which I can understand . I think if I did “date lower” I’d be treated better, I deffinitley have that experience, but how am I supposed to make it work when I’m not attracted to them do you find attraction usually builds or do you just have to give up physical attraction for emotional connection
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/21 07:28 AM

Thanks for the advice
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/21 06:24 AM

I know. Setting a timeline seems so immature tho. I know it’s not it’s just how it feels for me. If I’m into it why should I deny myself? to me the good vibes are the hallmark of a good relationship I feel like I shouldn’t have to be “playing games” so to speak but it really is me just justifying thot behavior I think I’ll literally just have to make a rule for myself even tho it seems so forced
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/21 06:21 AM
1

You’re right about that part at least
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/21 06:17 AM
3

Lmao exactly. I mean I’m never outwardly saying what I’m looking for but that goes both ways. I never say I’m looking for a relationship so I think in my head I’m thinking the sex will make it more serious which simply isn’t realistic
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/21 06:16 AM
5

lmao what women do you hang with Sounds more like you’re thinking of a movie or sitcom portrayal of a woman in a workplace comedy than an actual woman but that’s your truth
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/21 06:12 AM

But the women aren’t funny rhetoric is kinda tired

/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/21 05:23 AM

Yup I think you’re right. It’s my own fault because I literally say I’m okay with it while secretly hoping it turns into something more lmfao
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/21 04:41 AM

Thanks everyone I think y’all are right I appreciate you even if it’s tough to hear. I think I deff am just attractive enough to fuck but not to date. Could be worse I guess think I’ll just work on bettering myself
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/21 04:00 AM

Damn this shit just hurt me cause I feel like I fall in this category after reading this. Like I hook up with guys on tinder and then they don’t wanna commit and then I like ponder and ponder why not cause I probably don’t wanna admit to myself they’re out of my league or I’m unattractive that sucks but I feel good to kind of understand better what’s been going on
