Probably. I would get ed in that situation. Just don't do anything you regret just to "Get rid of the burden". It's not worth it. Having patients is a virtue not only in this situation but in life. It's better to wait for something that is worth it then to settle for something bad.

As someone who grew up in rural America, I will warn you not to go too small. When you go too small it's like living in a fish bowl. The old people are the worst. Always sticking their nose everywhere and gossiping. Their are like CIA agents that can't keep a secret. Everyone will know you and want to interact with you all the time, whether you want to or not. Personally this is why I live in a city of millions. I can vanish into crowd at will. Complete anonymity.

I always considered them a form of shit test. She throws the worst at you right off the bat to see if you will throw your skirt over your head and run for the hills screaming. If you don't then its safe to invest in you. They probably got comfortable with men in the past and told them only to have them run. My last LTR did it to me. She said she had guys run from her, so she told me upfront to see if I would stay before things got serious.
