She deserved a lot more than she got, personally instead of the two or so days in jail and slap on the wrist she got, she should've gotten at least a couple days and tons of community service as well as a therapist/case manager to keep her ass in check. What she did was inexcusable and absolutely fucking stupid.

It's heavily implied that's it's a bomb threat, and child or not she deserves the consequence of her actions. If she were my kid I'd push for more than just a slap on the wrist from the FBI (which is what she got) or whoever AFTER I beat her ass so hard it hurt to sit down. It doesn't matter who you are, or how old you are, you should have the common sense required to not do stupid fucking shit like that.

Well there's a difference between what they did and what you're suggesting. In her case, whether it's a joke or not bomb threats should and need to be taken seriously no matter what age or gender the threatener is. In the case of the girl-scouts, chasing them away with a shotgun is just unnecessary and excessive when you could've just told them to go away(or however you'd like to word it) or not answer the door.

Well I'm not entirely sure about the last part, a couple might THINK they're ready but turn out not to be isn't a big deal. Just because a child was made in the process of a bad decision doesn't necessarily mean the child doesn't have a place to go or where it belongs. I also grew up without a father, my mother raised me herself and I never once met or talked to him but that doesn't make me feel and anger, hatred, or like I missed out on ANYTHING

Just like its a right to be able to decide not to be a fatger and walk away, he's not a deadbeat he's just deciding he's not ready to be a parent, there will ALWAYS be someone raising the child even if both parents opt out.
