I do a routine to help myself feel complete and centered. I'll clean up my apartment a bit, just pick things up and organize. I like a clean place. Then I'll just get ready for the date. What really helps me, is to compare yourself to the AFC's in the room and realize that you used to be that. Even if I get shot down by a really hot girl, I feel awesome that I had the balls to approach and talk to her, while the AFC's worried that she might catch them checking her out, and how embarrassed they would be.

I just wanted to give additional support to this. If I fap before going out I don't have much desire or energy to engage with people. If I go out, and haven't fapped in a week, not only do I engage and act out more, I'm far more likely to get a little sexually overt while hitting on girls. It's a very good thing.

I know what you're feeling, it sucks and I haven't figured out how to stop it either. I agree with you. The field report should give tactics and verbal exchanges. It should show us how you worked to unfold an attraction relationship between you and the girl.
