Ironically, non-STEM people tend to think more in probabilities. You gotta back that up with something cuz it sounds like bs. As a student with a STEM degree, probability was my favourite subject in math as it was the most intuitive. It simply made sense to most of us. The folks who struggled with it were the ones who rote-learned everything. Attraction could be explained logically to a certain extent but doing the math and over-analysing situations by imagining outcomes and assigning probabilit…

I figured this out in the recent past and decided not to pursue a career in Engineering or IT although I had a knack for it. Most of my colleagues in my team(SDE) are smart nerds who have zero mojo outside their nerd jokes and sick refs(which I enjoy) but that's it. If they were in a club, they would just sit in a corner awkwardly, over-analysing everything they say or do in a super-casual environment like that. Hence, I've decided not to pursue a strictly technical profession cuz the lifestyle …

Attractive is not a measure of physique, but a measure of physique and personality, including vibe. Semantics 💁🏿‍♂️

There's no denying that attractive people have an advantage in social situations but that's not the end of it. Your vibe matters a lot and I've realised this after over-analysing relationships my entire life. It's not easy to be spontaneous and being yourself all the time. You need to actively work towards having a positive outlook on life and see the silver linings of the mushroom cloud, cuz guess what .... Everyone has problems. It's all about your attitude and how you face adversity and enjoy…

I'm sure there will be people who will be able to look beyond your appearance and appreciate the life in you.

This absolutely resonates with a recent revelation in my life. As a kid we are maleable and easily influenced by parenting and our environment. Some people are fortunate enough to have excellent parents who mould their children and set them off in the right direction while some of us aren't as lucky. In retrospect, looking at the last few years of my life, I realise how hard it is to change my habits and characters. My parents tried their best and I can't blame them for anything, just grateful f…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
