hell, you never know. Think about this: most people who are bad with women have no idea that the whole pickup 'community' exist, even the ones who spend time worrying about it. People who are naturally good with women don't even sweat about 'pick up'. The chances of a natural getting into it are really, really small. So it kinda makes sense that most professional ones start out as frustrated guys who found the community, were helped by it and now are trying to bank on it.

Dude, don't sweat over stuff like that. Why wasn't she there? Who the hell knows. Like many situations in life, there are dozens of possible reasons (some 'positive' and some 'negative' ones). You gain absolutely nothing by trying to figure that out... you are putting yourself down because of something that might not even be there.
