Consent to sex is not consent to pregnancy. It is. You're accepting the risk by engaging in the behavior. Forcing me to keep an unwanted pregnancy would be forcing me to give up my bodily autonomy. See above. If I drive somewhere I'm not consenting to be in a car crash just because its a predictable outcome of a specific activity. You. are accepting the risk. Generally speaking, the voters. Also, while State's Attorneys enjoy qualified immunity, that would not be covered if they were exclusively prosecuting blacks (or any other group based on protected criteria). They could easily be sued and potentially be open to criminal charges for malfeasance.

I don't disagree. I think she probably could be prosecuted. But, as I said in another reply, State's Attorneys are elected officials. They won't pursue a high-profile case with bad odds without popular support. In this case, it would cost them their position. There is way more support and coverage in her favor than the other way around.

No, it is a huge problem. There needs to be a mechanism where the public, through petition or whatever, can force prosecution of cases. You may not be from the US, or of voting age yet, but here State's Attorneys (or District Attorneys, in some states) are elected officials. They, in turn have deputies who are the prosecuting attorneys in the courtrooms. Choosing who you want in that position is that mechanism. Be careful. This varies wildly from state to state. In Florida, we have decent stand your ground laws, and you can use dealt force to intervene in the commission of a forcible felony, to yourself or a third party. you don't have to sell me - i've been a registered libertarian for years. my answer isn't that all republicans are better than all democrats, but that trump is better than obama/clinton. he is, if for no other reason than that he does not appear to have rigged a primary to keep that actual nominee out of the election, nor committed any felonies due to mishandling classified information. plus, outsiders shake things up, and you can't say he isn't doing that :)
