I saw seeing a guy for a few weeks and the night my dad died I wanted this guy around more then anyone else just to give me simple happiness of a guy and a girl in the beginning happy stages of getting to know each other. It took my mind off the news and helped me cope for a little while. When I read this it screamed cop-out to me. Especially when he didn’t respond to messages for weeks on end. No one is that sad and that busy 24/7 even when tragedy is involved. If he really wanted to talk to yo…

I totally agree! That trip made us not on friendly terms (all on her end, I enjoyed my trip haha.) I will not to out of my way to invite her again.

Yes! We honestly aren’t really friends. I usually travel alone so I don’t have to deal with lazy people or people who just want to drink as I want to see historical sites mostly. I was trying to be nice because it was right around when my brother proposed and I wanted to try and welcome her into the family. I plan most trips myself because I go by myself but if others want to join I’m happy but I’m not going out of my way to accommodate you to my detriment. Hopefully I will find a friend who wil…

It was so gorgeous! I live for Miami, I try and go once a year. People always talk shit on people who “travel” as a hobby but I love to do it and I take time to research so I know exactly what I want to do and accomplish. I travel not only to party but to learn new things and gain new perspectives. I truly love it

Yes! I totally agree. I am very type A however ( I am working on going with the flow more) and I love to plan everything out so I can maximize my enjoyment and see everything I want to see. I went to Japan with a friend who let me take the reins and although it was exhausting (for both of us) she was so happy I did because she got to see so much more then she ever would have by herself. I usually go places alone bc I don’t bother with not having someone to travel with so if someone wants to come…

I did so many things! I started off by going to Warwick castle, the cliffs of Dover and Canterbury cathedral. Then I went to Leeds castle, the outside bath in Bath and Stonehenge. I did a horror tour of Jack the Ripper at night which was so cool. I took a tour bus to Stratford upon Avon and saw where William Shakespeare lived and we also visited the Oxford campus. I also took the tube and went to Paris for one day and saw Ariana grande in concert and during the day I took a double decker bus tou…

I am also like this! I always am the one planning and coming up with ideas. I just went to Miami this weekend and without me nothing would have been done! I went to England with my brothers wife (fiancée then) and I invited her to do all the things I wanted to do and she declined. Then she got mad at me for “ignoring” her like sis I’ll travel with you but I’m not gonna sit in an Airbnb all day!

If you like this song I recommend experiment on me it’s from the new birds of prey soundtrack and one fabulous line is “lock up the sons and make way for the daughters” and “who needs a Y with this many X’s”

I did with my ex and it helped me really make sure he was interested in me for me and not just sleeping with me. We fooled around a bunch but he never pushed any farther then I was comfortable with which I really appreciated and respected

I think I read that one and the guy was a Virgin and the girl was on top and she told him not to cum in her but he couldn’t hold it in and came anyway...... I almost cried from laughing so hard 😂

Yes! I’m proud of her for following her fathers footsteps. She’s making an actual difference in the prison reforms and she says she wants to continue the fight. Truly a queen using her reality fame for the greater good

I saw on an ep of the latest season of KUWTK that she gets reports from her publicist about the show and it’s ratings! She reads them and takes into account what the audience wants to see more and tries her best to incorporate it. She’s truly such a hard working woman who earned her place at the top.

It’s funny bc the first post said to follow interests, practice self care, and get hobbies which is what is the idea here so how is it different?

We don’t slam men either if the woman wants to do it then go for it. But men shouldn’t pressure us into doing something we don’t wanna do and then guilt trip us when we say no 🤷‍♀️ it’s literally basic respect

I think so as well. I don’t agree with all advice, but most. I take what I feel is pertinent and don’t follow what isn’t. That’s all this sub needs to be. Everyone isn’t gonna agree with everything all the time

Exactly. I found it after being single for a few months from a super toxic and abusive relationship. It has helped me not go back to him and not fall for others who want to be “saved” or “helped.” All the posts just made me realize you can’t help others you can only help yourself. People only see what they wanna see.

What totally pissed me off about season 2 was that Joe found a perfect match in Love, she was basically him. He thought SHE was crazy!!!! What the actual fuck. So things are ok when YOU do it but when you find someone else who does? It’s bad? Are you serious???????? Like, really?????? Joe is romanticized because he’ll do anything for the woman he loves but when a woman does it she’s bat shit insane? IT MADE ME SO ANGRY!!!!! /end rant Sorry this show just gets me so hyped up

Thanks for breaking it down! I also agree he wants to move too quickly. I think he’s a little lonely so he came on too strong but that isn’t my problem sis! Go out with your bro’s, please. Lol. So basically I put in some strict boundaries. We meet no more then 1-2 times a week, only text to check in and see how we are doing, no pet names, no trips. I made it very clear things were going way too fast and that we basically just met. He said he was more then willing to go at my pace and he’s stayed…

Thank you for replying without judgment :) I get nervous sharing my stories as I’ve been invalidated a lot in the past. There was nothing too crazy but in one week he wanted to see many 3-4 times. He was wanting to take a trip with me for the weekend at the end of the month (he was going to pay all expenses which is a plus, but felt too soon to me.) He also tried to call me pet names, compliment me a lot and wanted to be in contact a lot all day. I guess this doesn’t sound too bad but it was off…

How soon truly is too soon tho? I started seeing a guy maybe a week and a half ago and he was all about doing something on Valentine’s Day. Lucky we work opposing schedules so it wouldn’t work out but he really seemed bummed. I feel like that is way too soon and possibly a red flag? His behavior feels like love bombing but I’m not sure because I got out of a toxic relationship a year ago and maybe actual genuine niceness is just too foreign to me.

I like OKC because of the “intro” section. I never swipe, I don’t do matches. But the intro section shows their pics and a message they already sent to you, before you even match with them. That way I can see their first message, check out their pics and then go from there. On hinge, I wait until someone “likes” me and then I go go their profile and if I like the profile I’ll accept and wait for them to start the chat. If they don’t, then oh well 🤷‍♀️ Any time I ever started a convo first I neve…

Yes! You’re so totally right and I am now learning that. It’s so hard for me to hear people’s problems and not want to help them, it’s just my nature. But it emotionally depletes me and no one ever is looking out for ME, so this behavior must be changed I just have/had a lot of unresolved guilt over my fathers passing that I was subconsciously allowing myself to be treated like garbage. Bc I thought I “deserved” it. I’m now in therapy trying to unburden myself and learn how to love myself and ot…

Lol!!! Just thinking about it I wanna smack my old self. I thought he was just being self deprecating as I tend to do. You know, see myself as much lower then I am. I am trying to practice more self love now to elevate myself. But yeah, 19 year old me just had my dad pass, and an abusive relationship with an alcoholic mother. So my relationship with him and trying to “fix” was a culmination of grief and extremely low self worth.

“When people show you and tell you who they are, believe them” When I first met my ex he literally told me to my face that he’s a piece of shit. He said those exact words. I have been “blessed” with a savior complex and thought I could help him. Wish I took this to heart, would have saved myself years of heartbreak

“Everything would be so great if he could just not do x anymore” I think I uttered that phrase once a day during my last relationship! LMAO

Did we have the same ex? Lol! All he ever did was do shitty things to me and all I ever asked from him was to stop treating me like dirt. His answer? “I don’t want to hurt you I love you I don’t know why I do this to you.” Along with sobbing into my chest usually. I was never a gf, only a mommy to a man older then me! He finally got tired of me asking for common decency and cheated on me with another woman who catered to his emotional needs and will never hold him accountable I guess. When she f…

Yes exactly! The whole relationship was him fucking up and manipulating me and then he tried to guilt me into staying! It worked for 4 years! I didn’t even know I was being guilted until I took a long look in the mirror and I had an amazing therapist to walk me through it. Those kind of men are the worst! They never change! They just find a woman who will tolerate it. He cheated on me and it was the best thing he could have ever done because it forced me to leave him. He’s with the girl who he c…

So true! My dumbass ex (who I thought I could help/change his ways) (it was my first real relationship don’t hurt me) literally tried to manipulate me into staying with him by saying that him going to jail was FOR ME!!! Or else he could have RAN FROM THE POLICE IF HE DIDNT CARE ABOUT ME literally what What did I ever see in him really

This is true. If I’m interested in a guy and he isn’t texting me a lot it’s a reason for me to move one. I just assume they aren’t interested 🤷‍♀️
