I live in bear country. It’s ~ 2+ per week until they go to sleep. 🤓 Mostly they just run away though.

they probably “dream” of marrying an actor or singer not an influencer. most loyal and family oriented girls aren’t into celebs chasing in general tho
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 09:04 PM

girls attracted to influencers are likely not girls who will want to start a family with you ..just sayin

The 1st line still applies. Went out with a guy who was semi there and will prob reach it soon. It’s not attractive to me and feels limiting. Circumstances change.

Nope - I can’t be with someone with zero drive. Also “fixed income” of $150K or whatever won’t be much in a few years (not even much in big cities today) let alone for the rest of the life.

I wonder what Johnny Sins OF engagement is like; some of his newer stuff is very female centric. There’s also Owen Grey who’s fairly popular among women.

lol yeah nobody cares if a 30-35 dude is dating 25-30 woman… it’s when the 35+ is dating <25 that is weird-ish.

/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/24 04:43 AM

People get divorced and bitter, because they like the idea of being in a relationship/marriage/commitment far more than the actual person they are with. At least in my opinion. Having close friendships outside of romantic relationships is healthy, and I’d argue key to maintaining good dynamics within your romantic relationship too.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/24 04:41 AM

I just don’t go there if I don’t want to. I don’t “accidentally” catch feelings. In order to catch feelings I need to put effort into it - which I don’t do unless I want to go there.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/24 04:38 AM

Getting to know someone in a romantic context and getting to know someone to develop a friendship are two separate paths and goals. Doesn’t mean you can’t skip from one to the other, but let’s not pretend that that’s not true.

I went trail-running on a first date once. I’m not too bad, pretty average.. I shared my pace with him beforehand. He insisted it was fine and he doesn’t mind “taking it easy” …then he kept getting annoyed I couldn’t keep up with him and that I wanted to hike the steep uphills. 😅 Worst first date ever (almost).
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 04:07 AM

50% of the 43% is what the infographic claims?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/24 11:16 PM

True, they don’t preface with “I love Jane but…” they just complain and say way more brutal things lmao ..it’s common sense really. Seen it 10000x times. But besides the point.. if you want to debate only “women are horrible” side, then why bring men into the conversation at all.. can’t claim whataboutism then.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/24 11:15 PM

of course they are drdrdrd

/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/24 04:16 PM

I think it also depends on how you met and how well you know them at that point. If I’m going in a date with someone I met IRL and interacted with a few times; I know it’ll be a decent time, then I would expect to go for dinner or something higher effort. If I’m meeting someone I chatted with a few times on a dating app, no way in hell would I commit to anything longer than a coffee date or a walk.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/24 04:11 PM

Confident people prefer confident people. Being with someone who isn’t confident is exhausting as they usually need an endless supply of reassurance… and frankly you can’t cure that.

It’s hard to think about it in isolation. Yeah, I’d want to know if someone is a potential criminal and he’ll end up in prison… But then you also find out that this other person you’ll be incredibly happy together for 10 years and then they die.. would you proceed? Also, what if you never meet anyone whom you can stay together forever, but can share extremely happy relationships for significant amount of time.. which one do you decide to pursue and when? “Settling” would become even worse lol

/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 06:51 PM

lmao yes. This thread is so delusional. All of the times we pulled someone away or were pulled away, it’s because we’ve had a conversation about that before going out.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 06:16 PM

Yeah, but I live in an area with very fit men (and women).. so not too many overweight men and the majority generally cares about their appearance. I don’t particularly have a type so then a somewhat significant portion was attractive to me based on looks. I used Bumble and messaged everyone I matched with.. some never replied, some I didn’t want to meet based on convo.. but dates I did end up going on were pretty good. I had a few very odd ones too but nothing too bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/23 07:10 AM

Yeah I guess if it’s more “in context” I wouldn’t swipe left - like if he’s enjoying a beach hobby and is therefore shirtless (those are a minority in my experience tho 😅 ..mostly what I saw was bathroom/bedroom selfies). I don’t think it’s a bad thing at all if guys want to put things there to maximize their matches. I was mostly speaking about my preferences when I was swiping and how I got to <10% lol I go to the gym 5x a week, since my trainer switched to a regular gym, and spend too much ti…
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/23 03:51 AM
4

For me it was an immediate swipe left, but I generally avoid gym bros too, unless they have a different side to them displayed (e.g. outdoor sports). I don’t think I’ve seen many average bodies with shirt pics tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/23 03:19 AM
15

For me all of below were automatic swipe left: - no bio - dead animals, cars in pics - smoking, conservative, religious - has children - only looking for casual (or “not sure”) - shirtless pics, only group photos, pics with many half naked women, only pics where I can’t see face or body That filtered out 80% of profiles. Out of the 20% I probably found 50% attractive and swiped right. Meanwhile many men admit they swipe right in every profile and filter out later.

But there’s absolutely no difference in growing feelings for someone be it in a fancy restaurant or a walk in the park? The only difference is spending $$ and the amount of time (which is normal progression anyway).
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/23 04:05 PM

Huh? That makes no sense. How does “refusing to sleep with” even occur in your view? I have never refused to sleep with someone I wanted to date on the first date - literally had zero opportunities where that would transpire. If I have to refuse sex, then there probably won’t be a second date I suspect. So what I’m supposed to inform my date on date one? “Hey I had a FWB I never dated at some point..” just fyi.. it does usually come up, but not on date one. if it’s crucial for someone to know im…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/23 04:42 AM

men act the same way tho? every man I dated was nice and also had casual experience in the past. my history as well as his typically comes up during the “getting to know each other phase”.. if he has a problem with it then he can walk away. tho I only had 3 casual partners (fwb) and it wasn’t always because of the guy, but me not being in a place to have a relationship. so we usually cover that.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/23 04:24 AM

of course. he’s free to walk away if he doesn’t like something about me (chances are we’ll encounter a dealbreaker at some point).

No they cannot do that easily. Most women do not posses the skill nor have the time to do “natural” make-up style that completely changes their face. Most women wear either obvious make-up or minimalistic make-up. Hair extensions are generally extremely visible - most women do not have THAT much hair - it’s not natural. Particularly in some cities in North America the hair extension looks/trends are way off. Same with fake lashes - you can tell they’re fake. I did not address push-up/padded bras…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 08:42 PM
5

Nobody actually thinks women have blue eyelids tho? If a woman is wearing a ton of make up, you know 100% she doesn’t look like that way.. most hair extensions are also extremely obvious.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 08:14 PM

Except that’s not how it works legally. If the big guy inflicts injuries beyond a certain point, it doesn’t matter that the small guy started it. Even in self defence there’s limitations.

I think it depends a bit on other factors as well. When I moved to North America I had a friend who could barely speak English. We did all sorts of things together and at the time I didn’t feel lonely. Being around her was the best time ever. However, recently I felt very lonely even when around my closest friends as there’s other things going on in my life that contribute to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 07:32 AM

I actually do most of them myself as I’m frugal and think it’s a waste of money. Have to yet to meet a guy who knows how to fix a car, wants to clean the gutters, or deal with the lawn (my grandpa did, but even my dad didn’t do any of it). Those tasks are a lot more often outsourced than cleaning and cooking (and also performed a lot less frequently). It’s not really related to decision making anyway tho, it was more of a side point.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 01:26 PM
32

What is all this decision making? Literally never had a conversation about “hey I have at least 45% say in X” ..someone makes some decision, the other makes other decisions (granted don’t have kids). Also - most of the “male” house tasks are very often outsourced.

I don’t know why toys are supposed to be viewed as a bad thing? The important thing is satisfying your partner. If you don’t want to use toys, that’s fine, but you probably aren’t compatible if your partner does. The issue is only when the partner doesn’t want to participate in what’s supposed to be a joint activity and a mutually pleasurable one. It might be you need different things with different partners - can’t say I slept with a lot of guys, but every partner was different and we’d do thin…

I don’t particularly mind as people are into different things. Nor would I take it that it’s about me? Like whaaa.. where did you get that? My ex and I had a lot of toys for him and myself ..it was pretty fun. However, if he uses pocket pussy to cum, rolls over, goes to sleep, and not making me cum then we have a big big issue.

Work. I was in mini-series he directed. Then he asked me out after it was done. 🙋🏻‍♀️ I date guys who make way less money than me… My experience is consistent with that the other commenter said.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/23 06:01 PM

Ahh there was a lot of things. But overall he kept getting frustrated that I was poor (I was studying), didn’t have a car, wanted to go out with friends after school (he didn’t feel comfortable in my friend group so he never wanted to join), and basically kept telling me I’m immature (I mean yeah - duhh). We were in two completely different stages of life. He was successful in his field, wanted to travel, etc. The next woman he dated was 36 and older than him. lol ..so everyone learnt their less…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/23 02:11 AM

The guy also learned lol ..the next woman he dated was 36 and older than him 😅
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/23 12:10 AM

Huh? I don’t think you OR your daughter going to the strip club is the thing that’s going to turn off a lot of women. lol ..but anyways, my point was that the comment you received is likely due to age/maturity level. I have yet to meet someone who thinks that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 08:23 PM
5

I think a lot of women wouldn’t date you because you’re going to the strip club with your daughter and her friends.. so I don’t think having too many options is a problem. However, “to need someone” is all cute when you’re young and becomes less cute as we age.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 07:23 PM
5

So you were at a stripclub with your daughter & her friends? This conversation was someone who’s significantly younger? I’m surprised cause I generally agree with your view that I’d want someone I want not need (and vice versa).
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 06:58 PM
97

I dated a guy who was in his 30s when I was 19. My friend from highschool also dated a guy who was 32 and she was 16… but that’s a different story. Everything I say / advice I give is through those lenses. Based on my experience - I do not recommend lol. However, adults are adults and can do whatever they want so that’s where me caring about it stops.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 06:27 PM
6

Wait ..who did you have this conversation with? Did I read that right…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 06:21 PM

Did you even read the results? 🤦🏻‍♀️ 63% of young adult men.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 01:39 AM

they are tho? this sub likes to link these stats every day.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 01:19 AM

so you’re saying men just hit the gym and women don’t? maybe they can go together then? partners who exercise together tend to stay fit together.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/23 07:28 PM
8

I’m trying to understand why this is a gendered issue.. what makes women fail at it when men succeed.. so I asked what men do in order to succeed? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Your asking for advice on what their options are - follow what men would do in this scenario? 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/23 07:21 PM
13

Huh? I thought we are talking about guys who gain significant weight while in a relationship… most guys are fat - most guys are in relationships
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/23 07:13 PM
12

So how are men dealing with it? I’m sure it’s superior. Most guys are fat af..

Same! My former colleague had his mother come help him “babysit” his child, when his wife went away for 2 nights. 🤦🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 06:15 PM

I dont care either. I just meant weight is pretty visible on pics, while height isn’t. 😄
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 07:49 PM

height is impossible to judge on photos?

Marriage is a scam.. but go on.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 04:32 PM
7

I was also born in the 90s and I’m very used to the term partner. It’s not even gender-neutral in other languages, yet people still use it over gf/bf. We kinda stopped using that in early 20s.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 04:28 PM
3

That’s me - I haven’t dated anyone who made more money than me since I was …20? It’s likely that the two women in question complain because of lack of shared goals/compatibility and not so much about money itself. I don’t appreciate luxury and expensive things (other than a few things), so someone who’s not frugal just isn’t compatible with me, even though I make way more.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/23 10:07 PM

A woman walking out on her family and kids is crucified. A man leaving his family and kids is “expected”. If you’re talking about LTRs when there’s no family involved - nobody cares really.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/23 09:30 PM

Yikes. Those posts are so sad.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/23 06:01 AM

Not really? What I don’t want in my home, I don’t have in my home. 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/23 03:02 AM

You can actually be vocal about your insecurities and about being controlling - people will probably appreciate your self awareness. Doesn’t mean they want it in their home tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/23 01:18 AM
1

Not sure how you concluded that tbh. 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/23 06:20 AM

It’s as much of a bias as you assuming he waited “appropriate amount of time”. 🤷🏻‍♀️ But no - I was just repeating what I “hear all the time”.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/23 05:46 AM
5

So he helped for hot 5min and thought he gets sex now, then he can return to not do anything until he wants sex again? 🫣
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/23 09:12 PM
1

That makes sense. I do tend to wear something nice when I’m in a good mood and I’m embracing social interactions… when I don’t want to be bothered I’m in a hoodie and sweats 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/23 07:35 PM
1

I like being approached, but I’m really chatty. Doesn’t mean it’ll lead to a date tho, but I find interactions pretty fun.

yea? some were, many weren’t complete strangers as they were in my larger social circle already.. doesn’t mean I was trusting of them immediately.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/23 03:03 AM
2

Ya, I was only explaining why I’m more afraid of strangers than men I do know. Not trying to imply it’s correct or something you can act on..
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/23 06:46 PM
0

Nope - it wasn’t an answer to it - it was a perspective on why it happens. Didn’t say it should.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/23 06:45 PM
5

The only men who ever harassed me were strangers. I learned that as a teenager - hence stranger danger. It’s also way more likely to die in a car crash than a plane crash, yet people still fear flying way more.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/23 06:20 PM

It’s certainly not. Just confirms bad women exist? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Tinder doesn’t count as approaching - wtf. I don’t approach with a volume, I don’t come across that many interesting people in my everyday. Part of it is also strategy - I don’t approach men who I already know won’t be interested. Some of my male friends have higher rates tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 04:25 AM
7

does she call you? 🤪
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 03:28 AM

calling a cop is relying on men but, calling a hooker is not relying on women 🤔

5

Then elevate yourself! 💁🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 09:03 PM

This is generally how I take it. If I find someone interesting I will shoot my shot. I don’t want to limit myself to men who approach me first.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 07:58 PM
3

In my experience it does. I’ve also had guys who pursued me and then acted like they didn’t want to be there - meh.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 07:57 PM
8

Yea, I have never approached anyone who’s above 8 in looks (or even close to it). Those guys get hit on all the time - it’s not worth approaching. My results are about 60% success rate.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 07:55 PM
2

yea I noticed that. but then a woman posts something and it’s not true unless 300 independent non-psych studies have confirmed it 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 02:24 PM

so she didn’t imagine he asked her out. 👏🏻
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 02:22 PM

Yea no. Doesn’t really happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 04:32 AM

I can’t with these people 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 04:31 AM

I usually initiate 60% of the time (I’d have sex every day if it was feasible). I initiate by touching, dirty talk, teasing, or just you know telling him directly I’d like to fck.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 01:28 AM
1

I believe you. My uncle is kinda like that too - he married someone 25 years younger.. who basically didn’t hide she was a gold-digger .. then was all shocked she divorced him and took most of his money.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/23 05:48 AM
8

I have a guy friend who has a whole list of criteria he’s supposedly looking for in a woman ..then the second a hot girl gives him any attention, the list goes out the window and so do any of his standards.. he willingly ignores all the red flags when they hit him right across the face …then acts surprised how “he didn’t see that coming” 🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 11:59 PM

Well then educate yourself before assuming? 🤷🏻‍♀️

/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 01:36 PM

Maybe it’s my circle too, but I have never heard any woman say that. Pretty much all of my girl friends didn’t want kids young, and all of them who wanted to be mothers are now mothers (ages 29-31).
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 03:51 AM

This guy collected all the things I mentioned were my “favourite thing” for a year - then gifted it all to me for my birthday.

Most men have way less wealth than me. Haven’t dated anyone who makes more than me since like 2012… don’t know a single woman who expects her bf to pay for her.

They usually tell you’re they’re an alpha.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 10:23 PM

I’m not changing anything, you are - that’s why I added the ‘btw’. That’s not what body positivity is about. Educate yourself. Nowhere and never did it say that the aim is to make fat women sexually appealing to men by giving them masters degrees (which is the claim you seem to be repeating over and over). It’s not even about sexual appeal. jfc
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 08:02 PM

That’s literally not what it means. Btw - seeing someone as beautiful doesn’t mean you want to fuck them.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 07:24 PM

Some things are addictive (sugar, alcohol, etc.) so people find it harder to quit. The more change you have to introduce to your routine the more likely you are to fail.. if you’re already walking everyday, adding couple of run sessions won’t feel like much.. if you’re used to sitting on the couch then getting your ass moving is a much harder ordeal. That’s why they usually recommend baby steps with routine (like putting your joggers out, then putting on gym clothes, etc.).
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 06:28 PM
6

Body positivity movement has nothing to do with sexual appeal. The message is that you should feel good in your own body. Body positivity is largely about feeling good in your own skin. It’s a response to the industry of size 0/00/000 unhealthy obsession in 90s(?)..
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 06:21 PM
2

I don’t know man.. I find just keeping my figure extremely difficult relative to other things in life. Accommodating gym time (usually before 6am), planning around social eating and drinking ..making sure to have all nutrients.. that said I gain weight very easily and it goes to all the “wrong places”. Sometimes it just makes me depressed and would just want to be “off” for weeks.. so I’m usually very impressed when someone manages to lose weight and then also keep it low. University, work, lear…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 06:03 PM

Body positivity movement has nothing to do with the opposite sex viewing you as sexually attractive smh
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 05:54 PM

That’s like 50% of daily posts lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 05:46 PM

gross nope
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 01:34 PM
4

It means you get a second date where I pay.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 02:52 AM

The average guy is fat tho. Literally the easiest bar to meet - don’t be fat.. and thinner women overlook it more frequently.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 02:51 AM

So men are more delusional… fat woman will date a fat guy, but a fat guy won’t date a fat woman…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 02:49 AM

What are my poor decisions exactly? 🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 02:44 AM

Most men are also fat tho…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 02:40 AM
2

It would be a whole more awkward situation than the 2-inch dick.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 09:54 PM
4

My friends and I discuss sex very openly.. we discuss most things .. NEVER was someone’s size brought up in any way.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 09:51 PM
9

10-inch dick is going nowhere near me…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 09:49 PM
5

BINGO! The only time I had a casual sex is when I didn’t want a relationship. The guys I’d have sex with were all “good enough for sex”, but wouldn’t ever entertain a relationship with them. That said, I never had ONS from Tinder ..I always knew them from before. In my experience FWB is pretty impossible to turn into LTR.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 05:05 AM

So 70% of women lolz
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 03:10 AM

Wrong - they film themselves during sets. Particularly with online personal training becoming popular - filming themselves is kinda key.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/23 03:44 AM

In my gym mostly dudes film themselves. Have yet to see a woman do that. It’s annoying! There’s a ton of male fitness influencers too… 🤷🏻‍♀️

Me too.

The most popular guy at my school wasn’t that good looking, he was short, fit and his dad had a yacht. His parents were often out of town so he threw big pool parties at his house. His dad eventually bought him a vineyard and now he’s living off the estate. Last I heard he’s doing a lot of coke and not much else. $$$ was a huge factor in my highschool and then University.

I no longer live in Europe. Luckily, I no longer live in the US, but still spend a significant time there. Not sure where you gathered I was German? I’m not. I’d suggest you read more carefully.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/23 06:41 PM
2

Fair enough yeah. I’m from a European country and it’s hard to generalize across - I was mostly being cheeky with my comment. The part about always being “German” is so true tho 🤣 I have another citizenship and I don’t ever identify as anything other than from my original country. (Tho I spent least amount of time there 🤣).
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/23 04:21 PM

Because American left is more right than the European right lmao

/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 04:34 PM

It’s weird you think this is factual lol
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 04:33 PM

I’m definitely attracted to more open minded guys who are willing to try new things. They were all very open to try make vegan meals (I love cooking together). I wasn’t trying to make anyone vegan though and when we’d go out they’d order whatever they wanted.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 04:23 AM

You need minimum 4 hugs a day bud.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 03:43 AM

It would be a huge plus. I never dated a vegan guy, but all guys I dated turned 80% plant based. 😅
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 03:39 AM
5

I think you’re misunderstanding what that means.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 09:41 PM
8

What does that have to do with attractiveness? I’m not attracted to her at all - she’s still not a 5 lol
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 08:36 PM
19

Apparently Taylor Swift is a 5 on a good day… 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 07:50 PM

I’m very supported of it. I want people to be happy and if that’s their best shot at happiness - why not?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 07:49 PM

My options sucked when I was in highschool… until I was about 21 …then increased significantly after I hit 25.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 04:19 AM
10

I’d do EMT, policing, and/or military. The rest doesn’t interest me much.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 12:37 AM
6

No, not the moment - because a single moment or a short period of time wouldn’t make it not passable. A prolonged period of time without any effort to change it - then yes I’d divorce in a heartbeat.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 03:12 AM
7

Well, if it’s no longer passable then we are divorcing lol ..his ex doesn’t matter in my decision to divorce.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 03:06 AM
8

Again - what he did with his exs is irrelevant. I don’t even have these conversations with the guy I’m dating. If it’s passable it means it’s not important.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 02:55 AM
9

How is that ever happening though? Why would I date someone who doesn’t do things that I need/want? Either I’m not dating him OR I’m ok with no having it (so his ex is completely irrelevant).
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 01:52 AM
20

I don’t get this fucking logic …if I’m not getting what I want, then I don’t date/marry the guy. Why does it matter what did he do for previous wives/gf if it’s crap I don’t want in the first place?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 12:06 AM

Everyone either lives in a van or has a boat where I live…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 05:12 AM
4

So even being rich doesn’t increase your sexual appeal..
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 10:27 PM
2

Funny how that is! 😊
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 01:12 PM
6

1) That’s ideal. 2) He sounds like me. Yes, I’d be ok with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 04:20 AM
2

lmao no 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 04:04 AM
4

So I worked in software and now I don’t. I make significantly more than most high paid - male dominated - professions. My work is also not 9-5, but I have 12+hrs days and then I can be off for weeks/months as I please. Am I supposed to expect my 9-5 head of engineering partner to do everything while I sit on my butt for a month, just because I make more?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 04:03 AM
6

As a woman I agree with this statement. Men are way easier to date elsewhere (but I’m not originally from North America).
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 12:34 AM
7

I travelled extensively and also lived in 5 countries. Dating in NA (particularly West Coast) sucks big time. Even going to Montreal is 100x better.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 12:33 AM

I was always direct - it was too exhausting dealing with the reactions. Going forward I won’t be - I’m responsible for my psyche not some randos.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 04:59 AM

I’m a straight average woman I’d pick bisexual woman, since I’d have more options. 😄
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 02:44 AM

same honestly 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 12:57 AM

so now ‘high body count’ = a bitch?

I never equated it, I said it was similar. Which it is. 🥱
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/23 12:55 AM

Huh? It’s not contradicting at all. Similarly to “don’t stick your dick in crazy”, then y’all go ahead and do it anyways and then when your house burns down surprise surprise pikachu face. 🤷🏻‍♀️ That’s literally the phrase though (and fairly popular one too) - so take it up with whoever came up with it. 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/23 12:44 AM

The “men love bitches” is the equivalent or whatever it translates to in English.

You just described my mom and dad.

lmao ..would not touch any dude that talks about Instagram influencing.. seriously 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 03:02 AM
24

I was 19 and he was over 30. He kept complaining I was immature, didn’t have a car, and I didn’t want to do his boring adult stuff and similar. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Funnily the next woman he dated was 16 years older than him.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 02:32 AM

She likes to travel. She lived in multiple countries too, while he never left his hometown and feels no need to. She goes on vacation with her friends and family.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/23 01:17 AM
18

My friends bf doesn’t like to travel and doesn’t want to go anywhere. They’ve been together for 8 years. Is she never supposed to travel?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/23 01:03 AM

lmao yeah, just what I was thinking 🤣 it sounds like something a dude would write.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/23 07:28 PM

I’m always so curious who is posting this on social media. It’s so tacky. Whenever I’m in an “expensive place” I look around and don’t see anyone on their phones.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/23 06:27 PM
2

Bingo!
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/23 02:00 AM
1

That’s a very small minority of women! A hot dude doesn’t have to pump & dump, they get mad when a guy on their level does it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/23 01:22 PM
1

Yea not buying that a 10/10 doesn’t know he’s 10/10. Anyone 8+ know they’re attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/23 05:15 AM
1

Way to avoid answering the question lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/23 05:14 AM
1

I’d argue most women know it - they just don’t care. If some 10/10 dude is hitting on me, I know what he’s after, I’m not a VS supermodel.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/23 02:38 AM
0

You have NEVER EVER swiped right on a 10/10? Really?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/23 02:33 AM

Yeah, I had a roommate like that. Her bf would get drunk occasionally and would be being physically abusive… I intervened once and called the cops (he started throwing chairs so it was scary). Then she was mad at me and wouldn’t talk to me. On the other hand I saw a guy chocking a girl against a wall when I left a party one night.. and I just ran and punched him without thinking.. she managed to escape and we’d kick him, he fell down cause he was pretty drunk ..then we ran away and called the co…

It’s not personal, it’s general. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The “you” isn’t about you sorry.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/23 04:32 PM
7

If you’re struggling then it’s not for you.. 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/23 04:19 AM

People thinking it’s smooth sailing after X amount of time is probably what leads to the divorce after X amount of time.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/23 12:03 AM
2

Ok then I stand behind my original comment. 😄
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 06:49 PM
2

Correct. If it’s temporary and you can’t leave with anyone, then I’d never entertain exclusive relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 06:38 PM
2

You didn’t specify that the arrangement ends after 2 years. What’s the point in even having that option if it’s going to end?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 06:20 PM
2

Well you’re there for 2 years ..that’s like what ..one dude every 2 weeks 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 05:52 PM
4

Sleep with all at least once, then pick the best one for exclusive relationship duhhh
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 05:29 PM
5

Yikes dude!
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/23 11:58 PM
4

Men are more forgiving of fat vs below average face.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/23 11:39 PM
1

I have. I didn’t find one of my classmates in college even remotely attractive, but fell in love with him once we started hanging out and interacting more. Sadly I never told him how I felt.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 09:29 PM
1

Then B? I assumed you meant you can find a relationship so you have these choices.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 06:29 PM
2

So none of these are actual relationships if I’m reading correctly? We’re purely talking FWB? Money does not matter when it comes to sexual satisfaction.. so it would prob be between A) and B) depending on if A expected exclusivity from me or not. If sex was equally satisfying then I’d pick B.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 04:19 PM
5

I think they begin due to a culmination of things - life happens and most people don’t prioritize their relationship once it settles. Healthy LTRs are a lot of work. Most people put it on autopilot tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/23 04:56 PM
9

I mean it also depends on the type of stress: - my boss is an idiot and work is stressful —> sex would be a stress reliever - my mother is ill and needs surgery —> sex would stop ..but that’s me.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/23 04:52 PM
2

I doubt most women consider that “approaching”.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/23 11:01 PM
3

Maybe English is challenging for some people.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/23 11:00 PM
5

Huh? See a cute guy in a social setting & go up to him, start a conversation, ask him out.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/23 10:59 PM
2

I have yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/23 10:57 PM
2

Nope.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/23 10:57 PM
0

I’m not thinking about ONS at all, but relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/23 06:27 PM
1

That makes zero sense. Physical attraction without emotional connection is also settling. Hot dumb/boring people are good for sex, but not for relationships. Which way one prefers to be “settled for” is a personal preference, but doesn’t change that it’s settling either way.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/23 05:36 PM
2

The inverse should also be true then.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/23 05:17 PM
1

Is this the same dude who said Eva Mendes is waaaaay below Ryan Goslin? 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/23 11:01 PM
1

C - he has a cool job! 😄
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/23 12:10 AM
17

of course not duhhhh ..men don’t have a choice and have to pick any woman. duhhh
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/23 10:59 PM

lmao - they literally got all the benefits. which on the flip side makes women want to be single. 😄
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 03:17 PM

They’d lose all the benefits that makes it better for them to be married vs single.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 03:15 PM

Hate is a strong word.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 03:00 PM

Most women in my family regret not being single.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 02:53 PM

Money can fix most thing in life. Like 90% of it. A career can give you meaning/purpose and also gives you money. Once your wealthy then other things start to matter more. Source: my own life.

Money! Always money.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 06:42 AM

I LOL’ed at the first caveat. 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 06:23 AM
1

1) Yes. 2) Don’t think it’s bullshit. Met great guys at wrong time, because I was in a place (health related) that would make me a horrible partner. Have I met them now things would be different.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/23 03:28 PM
1

Sounds like his crowd. 😅
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 12:28 PM

LOL ..no, I’ve been here for like a year 🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 03:01 AM

I mean it’s Reddit - most people want to be upset about something. I don’t participate those spaces tho. PPD is one of the few subreddits I enjoy. 😁
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 02:38 AM
3

I’m not from the US, tho I’ve lived in North America for the past decade almost. I was pretty immature when I was 19, tho I had quite a bit of life experience. Most importantly our goals and values just didn’t align.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 02:34 AM
17

I dated a guy in his 30s when I was 19. It was a disaster, but he didn’t manipulate me nor was he abusive in any way. More often then not the relationship is doomed when there’s a huge maturity gap. Now I have a friend who is in his 30s and constantly complains he can’t get a wife and all the girls he meets are not serious… yet he parties 24/7 and generally leads a lifestyle that fits most early 20s.. like not really surprising he has way more in common with them. Oh and my friends brother is 42…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 02:23 AM
6

Going to college to Eastern Europe would actually be best option for you. Solid education & hot women.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/23 10:38 PM
4

I’m chatty, polite, easy-going, approach. I care deeply that whoever is with me is having a good time, they feel good, and at ease. I buy my bf gifts, plan fun outings, and do things for him that I know he appreciates. I take time to get to know people and what they value. I’m a high earner and most men make less than me, so there’s no worries about gold-digging. As per the rest - never badmouth anyone to anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/23 08:13 PM
13

Never drink more than one drink on a 1st date!
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/23 02:59 AM
12

You seem confused. Not sure how to help. 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/23 02:57 AM
12

Huge mistake. Do not recommend. I finished the date and ghosted him.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/23 02:54 AM
33

So here’s the thing, went out with an absolutely gorgeous guy who lied about his height… gave him a chance & didn’t just leave, turns out he lied about other aspects of his life too. Never again!
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/23 02:49 AM
9

Sadly one bad experience is all it takes to make someone not want to deal with it again..
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 11:36 PM
1

they should go for whoever they want?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/23 10:27 PM
1

so they are desperate - which is low tier.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/23 09:03 PM
2

why would she HAVE TO settle? she can just stay single. the guys who go for single moms either don’t mind kids, have them themselves, or are desperate — which is all low tier guys
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/23 08:49 PM
1

what sexual consequences should a single mom face? she already has the kid - that’s a permanent punishment 🤦🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/23 07:52 PM
4

People also have varying degrees of “friendship”. I wouldn’t say I’m friends with anyone at work (as in - I don’t see them outside work hrs and they don’t know much about my personal life), but I do have a friendly relationship with everyone (including going for a coffee, lunch, etc.).
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/23 07:38 PM
2

I was dating someone in their 30s when I was 19. No manipulation, just a disaster, so do not recommend.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 08:01 PM
1

That’s literally the same bullshit and dishonesty you call women out on.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 05:02 PM
1

..lol but there is 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 04:57 PM
2

It’s the same for men. In general they all say they like X and then when it comes to dating someone who fits X, there’s all the other “hidden” criteria (along with where they are at in their life) that determines whether they’ll keep pursuing a relationship with that girl or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 04:32 PM
7

THIS! Take my gold star ⭐️
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 04:26 PM
6

women’s honesty is the same as men’s “all I want is tits and a skinny waist” it’s a decision tree with different & adjustable thresholds
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 04:25 PM

Secure person can get tired of both; but they don’t trigger the extreme behaviour in either. Avoidant isn’t as avoidant and the anxious isn’t as anxious (but that also results in too vanilla for them). Avoidants dating avoidants is preeetty rare.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 02:29 PM
11

been in significant pain all day today (to the point of almost vomiting) …thankfully nobody was rude to me all day. 🤓
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 05:07 AM
15

…but you for sure know that it’s easy to make several thousands a month? lolz
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 03:14 AM
1

Same, same! Took me forever.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 11:46 PM

The spark is the feeling you get when you’re with someone and you can’t see anyone/anything else around you (what they’re doing, who’s passing by).. time kinda slows down and it feels like you’re in a different universe. Happened to me a few times at various times.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 11:03 PM
2

I mean yeah it usually implodes eventually. But at least you know your avoidant ..that’s already 50% of the work! ☺️
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 11:00 PM
6

Girls with secure attachment will bore you. It’s “healthiest” for both avoidant/anxious to be with secure, but it never lasts long term as you’ll view it as too vanilla/boring. You need to address your avoidance and move towards secure yourself if you want to date a securely attached girl. Ultimately nothing wrong with remaining avoidant and dating anxiously attached as long as you communicate and understand yours and their soft spots and needs. You don’t want to get into a toxic circle of push/…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 10:58 PM
1

Both anxious and avoidant crave the push/pull and securely attached people don’t provide that. Apparently most avoidant end up with anxiously attached.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 10:52 PM
1

Wait for an anxiously-avoidant type & then you’ll really be in for a ride!
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 10:50 PM
7

It’s because you/they drawn to the push/pull dynamic. Most anxious folks end up with the distant type (and vice versa). A securely attached person isn’t providing the “rush” you both crave.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 10:48 PM
4

They look AI generated due to the amount of editing, make-up, etc. If she was on Tinder like this you’d be crying cat fishing. She doesn’t wake up looking like this. Even seeing her in person with all the make-up, she’d look very different.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 09:29 PM
3

Do you HONESTLY believe that this is how they wake up? 😂 It takes 4hrs+ for Kim K to put on make-up. The images, videos are highly edited with perfect lighting and poses.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 09:21 PM
4

Y’all literally scream that wearing make-up is straight up lying… then proceed to post threads like this?? Which one is it? Even she doesn’t look like this! You do get that right?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 09:18 PM
5

😂😂😂
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 09:15 PM
2

Higher academic standards needed to meet = competitive If nobody applies they’ll let anyone in.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/23 06:20 PM
2

The most competitive fields to get in is medicine and law (where I’m from). Math dept will basically pay you to attend, same with engineering.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/23 06:01 PM
2

Read your own OP again? 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/23 03:23 PM
6

my point is you can’t have it both ways & your intro is wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/23 03:20 PM
22

but but but.. you guys tell me all the time unattractive men only want relationships so they can get consistent sex. that’s it. no other purpose to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/23 03:14 PM
2

Ah fair enough!
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 08:25 PM
4

Depends on context/social settings. Technically nothing wrong with it. You should be friendly and contribute to a positive work environment. Doesn’t mean you have to be friends with people at work, but if you run into a coworker at the coffee station and don’t acknowledge them, because you can’t fuck them…… 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 08:17 PM
2

she knows what she’s talking about… ❤️
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 03:55 AM
3

I wonder how many times it’s one sided. My dad was the one who requested my mom to be SAHM 24/7 7 days a week, no sick leave or time off (surprise, surprise we don’t have a relationship).
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 01:18 AM
2

you should get married at 18 duhhhhh
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 04:09 AM
3

It’s about the lifestyle. There was a guy we all knew at Uni who was pushing 40 and still hung out with all the college kids. He came to all the student parties and befriended all the freshmen. No women his age would even sniff him, cause really he behaved like he’s 19. I have a friend who is 37 and struggles with dating, because of his lifestyle. He is super successful, makes high 7 figures, owns a big house, tall, handsome, etc. ..but he parties hard ever weekend, drinks daily, and is basicall…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 12:27 AM
1

Same as if I got a Victoria’s Secret supermodel body… freaking amazing! 😎
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/23 04:14 AM
1

I’d guess most 18-22 do fall into that category (myself included - one of the top 5 stupidest shit I’ve done). 😬 I reaaaaaally doubt anyone cares what a 25+ does tho. I’m about your age and would consider up to 48 (very different situation than when I was 19 tho).
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/23 04:03 AM
18

It’s called love bombing. NEVER trust a dude who is “sooooo into you” during the first date - like dude you don’t even know me 🤦🏻‍♀️ I assume she has low self-esteem/thrives on validation and he picked up on it.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 11:26 PM
1

Is that a cool job? I’m not American 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/23 03:12 AM
5

Fillers literally destroy your face - they all kinda look the same after. 🤮
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/23 03:10 AM
1

That one is more attractive than Lauren, but have no clue who those people are.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/23 03:07 AM
17

This whole sub literally whines every other week how make-up is too fake, even little make-up is straight up lying apparently. Lauren is literally more plastic than she isn’t …like not even disagreeing with you; people shouldn’t let themselves go… but like Lauren isn’t the woman to make your case.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/23 03:03 AM
14

…and here I thought y’all hate plastic fantastic/make-up look.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/23 02:45 AM
1

yes I heard that too, but luckily it hasn’t happened to me with the casual guys. I did date someone seriously where sex sucked tho
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/23 12:22 AM
1

There’s plenty of attractive guys everywhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/23 12:07 AM
1

FWB is more commitment.. therefore more work. You need to take care of a friendship, have good communication, and maintain healthy boundaries so that the friendship survives the benefits phase.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/23 09:29 PM
10

The only time I felt treated as an object was when in a relationship that should have ended earlier than it did.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/23 08:04 PM

Less work.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/23 07:53 PM

more or less this!
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/23 07:51 PM

Nah, it’s an escape fantasy.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/23 02:24 AM

Why are you making an assumption that all these “status” men are ugly?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/23 12:37 AM

Pretty much anywhere in Europe (excl. UK).
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/23 12:25 AM

Most men are overweight so yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 11:26 PM

This sub called Eva Mendes mid…. 🙃
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 05:06 PM

lmao then WHO is? 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 05:04 PM
2

I’d go bisexual. Potential for so much fun. 😅
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 05:27 AM
1

What’s it in for me to “allow” such arrangement? Assuming there’s no other option - like, why would I want to be the main girl? Side piece is the better deal tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 05:17 AM
1

That’s not what I said at all lolz
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 10:44 PM
0

Not sure how you got there from what I said… 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 10:37 PM

lolz what? My feelings are pretty relevant when it comes to my sexual satisfaction. 😅
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 10:36 PM

There’s no passionate sex with an unattractive guy. Can’t be passionate about someone you’re not into.. 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 09:16 PM

Those two women have the same body-shape. Rarely you’ll see a woman that’s apple shaped called hot 🙄

Exhibit B
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/23 04:11 PM

That’s not “the ick”.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/23 02:43 AM

lolz ..the guy playing Massimo was a sex symbol waaaaaaaaaaay before 365 days. Men love “crazy BPD”/“Manic pixie” girls ..then bitch on PPD when their house burns down & they dump them for Ted Bundy lookalikes.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 03:55 PM

I worked extremely hard and earned almost nothing. I was lucky enough to get various careers later on and right now I’m not working particularly hard and make 7 figures lol
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 08:35 PM

Every fitness studio I was/am a part of (and mind you they’re high end and often offer private hrs) are owned and run by men.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 08:33 PM

no just food, but also overall move more (walking places, getting up etc.)
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 06:04 PM

working out (lifting) for 2hrs 3-4 times a week won’t save you from impacts of predominantly sedentary lifestyle.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 02:35 PM

“show me what’s best for me” lmao… 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/23 05:38 AM

huh?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 12:53 AM
1

yeah there’s few of them…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 12:49 AM
1

having affairs isn’t dating lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 12:48 AM
13

It’s far easier to make your own wealth than it is to fuck someone you don’t want to fuck.. 🤮
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 06:54 AM
17

You do realize that most of those women cheat also right? 😂 Like how many hockey player affairs are with other hockey players wives/gfs… literal trades have been made because of that 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 11:34 PM
3

Yet most powerful men and celebrities also don’t date down… 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 02:41 PM
5

Yeah but like more realistically ..when is either of them going to interact with anyone that’s not on their level…. Very few men and women partner outside their “tax bracket”. The higher you go the fewer outliers.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 06:31 AM
2

I got zero attention, never approached, and never asked out until I hit about 23, then it got progressively better. I’m not overweight, been always fit, but my face is average/below average. I dress nicely, have a good personal style, and am fairly social and chatty. It took my a long time to be comfortable in my own skin though, mostly since I’ve always been reminded I’m not pretty enough. Once I got some comfort, my dating life improved.

My age range isn’t that fixed (never was) as long as we have similar interests and activity levels. I’m in my 30s now and I usually go out with 27-47 range. That’s usually who’s around me tho and who I meet.

I’m in my 30s so I guess things have shifted for the younger generation, but if you weren’t a conventionally attractive woman you were constantly reminded you’re ugly and worthless.

It really depends how much effort I put in my appearance. I’m fit with a good body, my face is average if not a bit below average, and I’m in my 30s. If I wear a nice dress and minimal make-up (bronzer and lip-stain) I get approached at least a few times during my outing. If I wear my “grocery store” clothes then I don’t get approached at all.

I’m saying to stop using sex to keep men! Have sex because you want to have sex, not because you are hoping to get into a relationship. That’s the advice I’d give if someone complained about getting pumped and dumped. Oddly I never heard/hear from any women IRL that they keep getting “pumped and dumped”. Ultimately, there’s next to nothing you can do to keep someone around, if they don’t want to stick around. So review your own attitude towards sex and stop fucking dudes outside of whatever para…

I used to be doormat really. I learned that I matter too. 3) I stopped being such a people pleaser and be ok with it. Confidence (to me) means being comfortable in your own skin and your abilities. This showed through how he engaged with others in social settings, how he behaved, how he spoke, how he put others at ease through their interactions, etc.

Women who come from poverty from certain eastern countries definitely date exclusively for money (if you can call that dating). In some cases they’re even pimped out by their own family (dad, brother) and have to send money back home. For others is not quite as dark, but they’ll take any chump who can pay enough. Now some also legitimately find love. To compare the choice western women have to certain choices women in eastern areas have to make is often ridiculous.

Where I am, you cannot get diagnosed by a social worker (nor a GP for that matter). It’s actually really difficult to get a diagnosis so impactful. I’m glad your symptoms disappeared!
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/23 11:40 PM
8

Well, then you are very unlucky - depending where you are bipolar is like <5% of the population. To run across multiple women suffering from it would possibly indicate a correlation to how/where you met them. So if you say OLD; perhaps there’s something to it (far fewer women use it anyways).
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/23 10:18 PM
21

You’re throwing a bunch of disorders under the one “mental health” umbrella. Bipolar and schizophrenia are still incredibly rare (and even rarer in women). That said, statistically speaking people displaying “crazy behaviour” (burn your house down, calling cops) aren’t necessarily mentally ill, they’re just poorly adjusted adults and assholes/horrible people. Edit to add: There seem to be a trend of “self-diagnosis” particularly when it comes to anxiety/depression/bipolar, because people seem to…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/23 10:00 PM

I think most women avoid “just sex”. But yeah - that’s what Chad’s are for lol …for sex nothing matters other than physical attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/23 06:07 PM

Meh, I don’t know. I don’t think there’s a significant difference. In my view it’s all about how you want to show up and how you want to treat people. I’ve never ghosted, but I have been ghosted. Breaking it off with someone is never a pleasant experience. I’ve had guys react terribly, but it was at the initial rejection (not so much after we’ve gone out on dates).
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/23 11:43 PM

I agree with the above - I don’t think ghosting is ever immoral. It is rude however, and in poor taste / bad behaviour.

FWB can be sexually exclusive. FWB also isn’t moving towards anything, while in a relationship there’s certain expectations. I’d accept FWB, but would not be open to poly/open relationship. There’s no way I’d put in so much effort into a relationship and then fuck other people on the side. 😬
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/23 11:23 PM

This whole post is so delusional.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/23 04:40 AM

No, she will fuck the 8/10 on the side, while dating/pursuing/hoping for a relationship with your boy 5/10. Then finally she thinks you boy will commit and it’s going somewhere so they have sex, then he never calls her back and she complains about being “pumped & dumped”. Having sex with the 8/10 was never the problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/23 02:47 AM
1

plenty of women multidate
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/23 02:41 AM
6

Yes they are. plenty of 5/10 dudes don’t want to commit. It’s those that women are upset about.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/23 02:38 AM
5

How is it relevant?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/23 02:31 AM
3

Women probably don’t complain about the 8/10 “pumping & dumping” as they probably know it’s just sex. A 5/10 isn’t even dating the 8/10 in order to be dumped. They tend to complain about the 5/10 “pumping & dumping” them.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 01:28 AM

Aren’t you the guy who lives in Philippines and fucks girls who can’t get commitment from local guys? Social media is amateur hour. It’s not where HVM can snatch desirable women.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 01:25 AM

Yeah, for sex not for serious. If you’re 8-10 you have better offers constantly.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 01:21 AM

It’s a feature not a bug, my friend. An 8-10 doesn’t even need social media, a trip to the grocery store is more than enough to get attention and offers.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 01:19 AM

I’d say that a 5 somewhere is probably less/more attractive than a 5 somewhere else, but they’re still both 5s. 😁

/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 12:38 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 12:24 AM

most men I know have a pretty strict criteria for women they’re considering relationships with
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 12:20 AM
3

6.5 is not “well above average” actually
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 12:18 AM
7

I remember someone on here said Scarlett Johansson is 6.5 😬
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 12:10 AM

Eh. There is such thing as self-control. I say this as a person who has Bipolar 1 and being hypersexual is one of the features (clinically). In general I’d say I have a higher sex drive than normal, but still don’t value casual sex with many different partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/23 11:51 PM
2

I think you’re onto something, yeah. A lot of kinks I’ve developed over the years are related to what I was taught/how sex was discussed when I was young. For example; my first encounters with the concept of sex was all around how it’s something “bad” that men do to women (and that women have to give men), by no means it was something a woman might enjoy. So being able to explore consent, equal participation, and pleasure in a safe environment translates into some of these kinks.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/23 07:59 PM
2

Not sure where you got that. 🤷🏻‍♀️ cool story.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/23 04:33 PM

You don’t have to, but my point was that “simply saying have to go and walking away” is usually the first thing someone does.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/23 08:09 PM
6

Because they’ll follow you, try to convince you to stay, get frustrated, you can tell them you have a bf and it’ll make zero difference… Easier to get an extraction plan going rather than having to repeat no 100x .
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/23 06:35 PM
12

Do you honestly think that coming up with a plan is the very FIRST thing that we tried? Like, oh yeah just walking away never occurred to anyone? 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m kinda in a weird spot, don’t necessarily relate to being “western”, but spent enough years in North America. Money has nothing to do with pure physical attraction. So it makes zero difference. I’m in top % financially and how much a guy makes turns me on 0% more. Flashing money is a big turn-off too. However, being at the top of your field is an attractive trait, because it signals other qualities that are attractive (organized, driven, intelligent, etc.). So there’s a correlation to income,…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/23 08:06 PM

They’re not that interested. Any woman who’s interested (and worth your time) will actively show interest. If you planned the first date it’s on her to plan the second, etc.

My grandmother broke up with her fiancé to go on a date with my grandfather. She was rebellious. I also know she did love him, they’ve been married until he died 6 years ago and she’s now 90+ and constantly talks how she wants to “go be with him again”. That said, her story is uncommon. I volunteered with seniors and heard many stories of how they didn’t have a choice, but to marry.

This kinda happened to me once a few years ago. He was put off by me trying to pay and then he proceeded to explain how much money he makes for the next 20min.. then he was “surprised” there was no 2nd date.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/23 03:21 PM

I say this, and I pay, and I also ask men out. If the guy asked me out first and he pays for the first date, I’ll initiate and cover the second date, and we tend to rotate. However “whoever invites pays” is usually a social norm where I’m from and splitting was completely new to me after moving to North America. When I invite a friend to a place at a time/date; I always pay the bill (and we rotate). We even started doing this with a couple of my NA friends.

The last paragraph is a real concern. I’ve read articles recently that it’s been happening in my city (not missing kidneys, but they were robbed). You still have to approach and talk to them tho.

I have never been fuckzoned, but maybe friendzoned (tho not sure if he knew I was into him). I don’t ever stick around in hopes that he might change his mind. I believe humans don’t just change their mind. Now, I wouldn’t date someone who I don’t want to be friends with. If I’m interested in someone enough that I’d consider dating them, then I also believe they’d make wonderful friends. Lol, so you don’t care if a non-attractive woman chooses shitty men? Shitty women choose shitty men (and vice versa). Not sure how that impacts men more? Why are shitty people even considered a part of your dating pool? Most people aren’t shitty.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/23 07:48 PM

Plenty of women also wouldn’t date them. I’d bet that most women won’t date the guy they know is abusive. Shitty women date shitty guys. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Why do you care about what a shitty woman does? I don’t care that shitty attractive dudes chase toxic women.

As someone with terrible genetics & making it into the 1% …both are hard, but differently. I’m a “non Western” woman living in the West, so I guess I offer never having to move. 🤣🤣🤣 In all seriousness; I’m extremely average in many ways, other than fitness level, liking men, and income - assuming he doesn’t care for that; then all I have to compete against other women (Western and non-Western) is my unique personality quirks and being at the right place & time. 🤣

In my experience it tends to be similar - men and women just differ on the type of emotions displayed. For every woman that cried at work there’s been 3 dudes losing their cool and yelling at coworkers. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ll also add that from my observation the women who are showing more emotions tend to be treated better than the more “logical/pragmatic” ones.

No they aren’t. Most men age terribly (like women). Men in their 30s they are more stable and mature which matters for a relationship, and makes them 0 points more sexually attractive. The hot guy who’s hot when he’s 25 will never be more attractive that that. If he takes care of himself/eats well/gets sleep, it’ll just be a slower decline than if he doesn’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 03:57 PM

25 year old guys aren’t old. Men do not get hotter as they age; a 25 year old hot guy is hotter than 35 year old hot guy. 🤷🏻‍♀️There’s so very few guys who don’t age poorly tbh.

I literally just did. It’s a combination of factors, deep emotional connection, shared goals, values, life that we built, etc. That’s the whole point of my first paragraph - there is nobody better; if there is - it means my relationship is already over (because with all the good relationship stuff, there’s no better guy).
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/23 08:43 PM

We’re literally talking about the same thing with different words. Once I feel all those things that you list for a guy - there’s nobody “better” (which doesn’t mean he is the best looking, the best personality, etc. in isolation ..they’re meaningless).
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/23 08:28 PM
3

You’re reading it wrong. If I don’t perceive my bf as the best guy there is, I clearly don’t have some deeper connection to him, so the most respectful thing to do is to break-up. I never perceived anyone as better value than my bf, while in a relationship. Resources are useless to me. Personality, goals, habits, and physical attraction is key and LTR is the only way!

First, I’d likely break-up with my boyfriend if I perceived someone else in my reality/proximity as “much higher value”. No point in dating someone I don’t perceive as peak guy. But I don’t usually view conventionally attractive men “peak” purely on their physical appearance. Second, I don’t typically sense the “non-obvious” flirting , what you describe there just means they’re being friendly to me (how do you discern between texting and extra texting? or why is “doing something appropriate” fli…

I had a years long (sexually exclusive) FWB that was perfect. We’re great friends and sex was great. It would have never worked out in a serious relationship since we wanted different things. I don’t want children and don’t want to get married. I’m also thinking cohabitating isn’t for me necessarily. So a best friend who fucks great, but goes home at the end of the day is kinda ideal.

What is a “talking phase”? Either you’re dating or you’re not - if you expect to be monogamous, communicate that (e.g. I don’t multi-date).
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/23 05:52 PM
2

It’s a personality trait - just like many others you find out as you’re getting to know someone. You swipe on people with similar hobbies and people you find attractive, unless it’s written on their forehead many traits that are dealbreakers (or green flags) are revealed through dating and getting to know one another.

What is a party phase? I went clubbing maybe a handful of times in my life - it’s not really my scene. I went to Uni parties all through University years. I never did drugs. I go to restaurants and wine/cocktail bars all the time tho (still 😄). I don’t get wasted tho. I’ve had 3 casual relationships, 1 FWB, and the rest were LTR.

My home country went through multiple wars, my grandfather fought in two wars, my dad was in logistics and one of my friends dads was in the frontline. I was around 5 when the last war started. I don’t know man. I don’t have more than 2-3 drinks over 2hrs with strangers, seems risky. I had an experience at University, where a guy in my year got hammered and I was pretty sober. We were out together (in a group) and when we got back went to our separate rooms, then he decided to come over to my room, took his clothes off, and wanted to hook-up. He was very attractive and I was into him at the time, but dude was so drunk it seemed really off putting, so I told him to get dressed and leave…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/23 09:14 PM

Most women I know (including myself) can fuck a guy without having feelings for them. Just that there’s a lot higher physical requirements for that guy than what men seem to have for women they’re willing to fuck.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/23 08:19 PM
2

Ok sure - but because “they enjoy it/want it” is generally true for most things in life. Rarely has it got some deeper meaning. Though could also be religious and God tells them it’s the way.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/23 07:05 PM

Well, the argument should be because they want to, right? I like expensive alcohol - there’s no argument for it, it’s bad for me, definitely don’t need it, yet I still enjoy it. 😄
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/23 06:47 PM

So a guy who isn’t a “complete package” gets into a relationship to get a clean house and clean clothes?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/23 06:28 PM

What’s the argument on the woman’s side tho? Why should an “adult/full package” woman commit to a man?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/23 06:27 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 11:04 PM

Because without sex and intimacy we’re just friends and roommates (there’s no romantic relationship) - and that’s not exactly a new arrangement. Plenty of people are living like that. So what’s your point?

10

Because how are you going to fuck someone you find physically off-putting?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 05:48 PM
2

I appreciate my time alone tbh. I’m not introverted, but I like taking care of all the boxes in my life, not just the romantic one (time for myself, family, friends, and partner). I’m generally wary of people who drop their entire life to spend time with their new beau 24/7. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I was going with the PPD popular definition of top tier man - tall, rich, famous or whatever. My definition is probably different since I don’t care for height or income.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 05:00 AM
2

You didn’t seem to read the whole context of what I said. Maybe read the first paragraph again? The two don’t contradict at all - a relationship needs to complement your life enough. They are desirable if they are worth the work. Relationships are work, it’s easier to be single than to put work into a relationship; so the payout has to be good enough. Like I said to someone else, if the guy has more women he requires less time from an individual woman. So that woman gets top tier guy for way les…

Women don’t get it, the child gets it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/23 04:54 PM

Why do you assume it’s subpar relationship? Who says an “equal man” offers high quality relationship? Is quality of a relationship purely defined by monogamy?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/23 04:52 PM
2

Women also date outside of their age bracket more than guys do. How many of the 25+ group are paired with guys 30-35? ..but let’s just assume they all share Chad, how is it not aligned with what I said? Chad is worth the “work” and the 63% of single men aren’t. It’s pretty aligned with what I said; plus the more women Chad entertains the less work it is for individual woman. Less work, higher payout, happy women. 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/23 04:45 AM
1

That’s not Madonna-Whore complex.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 11:28 PM
73

Of course it’s easier to be single than in a relationship. Relationships are work. So the relationship has to complement your life enough in order to be worth the “work”. Single is better than being with someone you don’t want. Why do you think that woman would be happier with someone she doesn’t want than with her cats? She wouldn’t really.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 10:45 PM

That still doesn’t resolve the paradox; because once you’ll have sex with that one person you’ll be grossed out by her..

I don’t mind being approached wherever. I’m quite chatty and I talk to random folks all the time. I wouldn’t want my male friends to ask me out though, it’s too heartbreaking to lose friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 10:03 PM
3

Sure - just not for me and I don’t count that as a date.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 08:46 PM

I’m working. I’m in a theatre play - so I’ll be particularly annoyed at all the couples in the audience (my character would do that); lucky for them can’t really see them from the stage.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 07:21 PM
5

I’m dating someone when I ask/agree to go on a date with the intention of getting to know them to see if it’s a fit for a long term relationship. So the process of going out on dates with intention of LTR is dating. FWB/ONS isn’t dating. Edit to add: whenever we agree on a date I always make sure that we are both in agreement that we’re actually going on a date (none of that “hanging out” bs).
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 07:17 PM

sure, but it’s a spectrum - you can be somewhat fat and not unhealthy. being fat isnt just obese.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 06:45 PM

only if you think being fat is bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 06:01 PM

They do tho?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 05:06 PM

I grew up in a small town in Europe - never heard of food coma before moving to North America.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 05:01 PM

Funny enough my grandmother said you should always go to bed slightly hungry.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 04:49 PM

It’s definitely more difficult for some women. I have pcos and also take lithium (which makes you gain weight). Generally, I had to change what I’m doing and how I’m approaching weight-loss and healthy body. Different approaches worked at different times (changing up workouts - cardio vs weight training and nutrition plans).
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 04:46 PM

Portion control, quality of food, and eating habits are different. My North American experience (coming from Europe) - 1 portion here feeds 3 people back home and y’all drown everything in cheese and heavy cream sauces with millions of kcals.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 04:39 PM

Came here for this comment 😂 Just yesterday there were a couple of posts in relationship sub how the woman has gained weight and the guy complains she needs to lose it. Yet he does next to nothing to help with chores and children so she’d have time to hit the gym.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 04:37 PM

Why? It’s usually the case.

I’m saying Leo isn’t just another “man with options”. It’s another world celebrities live in. Leo bangs <25, because after that they prob start pressing him for “deeper commitment” (marriage, kids, blah blah), plus they’ve exhausted the boost they’re going to get in their careers by dating him. They all know the deal they’re getting. …and if you think a 19 year old model/actor has less baggage than your average 25 year old “good girl” you’re also delusional. In the end of the day what Leo does w…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/23 05:23 AM
21

lmao ..it’s always fucking hilarious when this sub brings up celebrities as “proof” of some behaviour. Like they live in a different world. women thinking Leo wouldn’t date them because they’re over 25 and men thinking they can finally bang 19 year olds because they’re over 30 and because Leo does it; are both fucking next level delusional.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/23 05:02 AM

Lol who cares? I’m more curious about her highlighter.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 11:19 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 05:48 AM

They shot some shows “somewhat” in sequence during Covid (I’m an actor). There was a clip of him at Royal Holloway - it made me really intrigued haha. Do you think there will be more than one love interest?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 04:49 AM
1

Was it even shot in sequence? 🤔 I’m leaning towards some membership churn as the reason. I’m not too sure about his beard - really need to see more of his “new character” to see how it fits. I like the longer hair tho. You?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 04:33 AM
1

that’s a good guess. I figured it has to be something like that… ugh.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 04:28 AM

..but still - what’s the strategy? so fewer people churn in month 1? Love was his match made in heaven - but our nice guy doesn’t want that… 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 04:23 AM

What’s up with Netflix splitting seasons in 1/2…. got excited for You being back on Thursday, but it’s only part 1 😓
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 04:12 AM

lmao, so it’s less of a murder if you’re married? or just another anti-abortion stance just to punish women? how modern and original. 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 03:30 AM

I wish I didn’t have to pay for any of you…. yet here we are. 😬
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 05:48 AM

So you made up a story in your head about a woman you never talked to and then were shocked by her interacting with another person, who you also never talked to and for who you also created another story in your head?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 05:36 AM

I mean, I don’t want my man to have a dad bod, so yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 07:02 AM

I don’t spend time thinking about them (…until they do something violent - unlike FDS).
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/23 07:59 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/23 10:48 PM

Everyone should do that though, regardless of gender or outcome.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/23 05:58 PM

I have a friend who’s great, but he keeps chasing women that aren’t interested in him. He’s a photographer, great conversational skills, honest, humorous, tall, fit, makes great money, has his own place, mid-30s, good style, etc. etc. He has no issues getting dates, but the second the woman shows him she’s interested, he no longer wants her and finds “something” wrong with her. The he goes and chases the women that aren’t interested. I’ve known him for 5-6 years and he’s never made it past 2 mon…

Ok and most people don’t experience it.

Depression and anxiety aren’t insecurities tho?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 08:45 PM

Of course it can. Low-self esteem isn’t really being self-aware (it’s usually the lack of it).
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 08:37 PM
6

It can be both.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 08:32 PM
2

I don’t think insecurity stems from self-awareness necessarily. Insecure people are often insecure about things they don’t really lack. Confident and self-aware people will say “I don’t have pots & pans / can’t do X, I’ll go and figure it out”. Confident people are secure in themselves, which means they’re open to working on their shortcomings (and more than often actively do so). Lack of self-awareness implies arrogance.

I haven’t had anyone rejecting me poorly. It’s always been polite. Me rejecting them: - It was at a bar and told him I’m not interested in going home with him so he followed me home anyways and tried to enter my house - I told him I’m not interested in hooking up and he proceeded to go on a rant how I should stop being such an idiot, religious prick (I’m an atheist lol), and how I’m missing out. - We were seeing each other casually and told him I’m not interested in long term; he sent me like 10…

Mostly couples appear matched, but two stood out to me in the past ~3 years. The guy was like a 3 (4 at best), but somewhat rich and married this woman who was a 9. She didn’t age well though and is now more like a 6 (not sure what she did to her face), but still has very good body. A guy I know from work now, he’s an 8 and his wife is like a 4. He’s tall, extremely fit, stylish, nice face, extroverted and she’s very overweight, wears sweats anytime I see her, puts literally zero effort into her…

Post 2015 Bradley Cooper is my celebrity crush that won’t end. 😄 Tom Holland and I’m recently very into Tom Austen too. Behaviour: playful, energetic, extroverted, easily interested in variety of things, sarcastic, very touchy

Who? My friends? Some are, some aren’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/23 06:06 AM

That happens at a much lower scale than what people online think. Literally never heard of n-count before joining Reddit. Never had a conversation about the exact number of past sexual partners nor had any of my friends.

lol this one of my friends guy is unemployed (been so since May). he cleaned the floor once and made dinner twice and thinks he deserves a medal another friends bf has his mother come do his laundry cause “sheets are difficult” and thinks that’s totally normal one has two kids under the age of 5 and he keeps telling the stories of how hard it is to “babysit when his wife is out” (btw she’s out grocery shopping - cause he apparently can’t manage to get everything and twice she went to a hairdress…

As someone who’s made plenty of friends after college; really depends how much effort you put in and how extroverted/social you are. I’m quite chatty and find/make new connections really easily. That said, I find it more difficult in the US as compared to Canada or UK/France/Sweden.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/23 07:49 PM

This exactly. Attraction has nothing to do with comfort, but also nothing to do with anxiety.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/23 10:19 PM

What’s that?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/23 10:17 PM

Attractiveness (personal style, healthy weight, mannerisms, etc.) Personality (generally a lot more direct and less “fake”, sense of humour) Dating is actually dating without 3000 extra steps lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/23 10:13 PM

I’m not American, but spend a lot do time in the US (mostly bigger cities), due to work. American men (and women) are far below men/women from most European countries. 😅

Depends on the context: - is he initiating for some idiotic reason and losing? lmao then yes I’m gone - is he initiating to protect someone or an animal (knowing he can lose)? I’d marry him - is it self defence? wouldn’t lose attraction …where do you all live that these are feasible scenarios tho? 😳

Ok so remove the laziness part and you’d be able to go at least once.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/23 12:45 AM

Probably not? I wouldn’t want to hear that information. I also wouldn’t mention it unless someone asked me. It’s up to him to decide tho - if that’s his business or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/23 10:48 PM
1

What is a talking phase? Told him when? Who says he wasn’t sleeping with anyone else? He said no such thing. And sure - he can make that requirement. I don’t date men who are actively multi-dating, past like 3 dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/23 10:22 PM

That’s not what it said in the OP.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/23 09:03 PM

..and she wasnt. so he got that.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/23 06:13 PM

What was your desired outcome? Did you expect her to escalate to sexting with you? She wants a LTR and she also wants to smash.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/23 05:54 PM
5

I mean marrying someone, after knowing them for 3 months, exactly after exiting a 9 year relationship, doesn’t really scream like something worth discussing. That dude seems unstable and probably has a bunch of other issues going on.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/23 11:54 PM
2

My thoughts don’t change - if you want to get married, you need to chase that. The other person is getting the deal they want at this point in time at least.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/23 11:52 PM
4

I mean some people just don’t want marriage? For me long term relationship is the goal. If you want to get married you need to pursue that and plan around that goal - if you’re just sitting on it, waiting for the other person to “wake-up” ..well, that’s on you really.

What do most people do to not be able to go to the gym 3x a week? I worked full-time (a demanding job in tech) while studying full-time, taking care of my large dog, went to the gym 5x a week and still had a vibrant social life. Most of my friends have children (multiple) under the age of 7 and still manage to go to the gym, work, and have a social life.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/23 12:47 AM

I have a large dog. He hates everyone. It’s perfect. 😅

He’s above average..
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/23 05:02 AM

I mean it’s unlikely he’s fat based on his shoulders and face. He also has a very nice smile. Anyways - not really a photo I’d use to show “average guy” when he’s clearly above average.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/23 05:00 AM
1

I think we’re interpreting that differently, but alright. I think that’s what’s happening though - with experience you learn what you like and what you don’t, so the quality of sex progresses.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/23 04:41 AM
0

I’d think they’re the minority. My best sex started around 26 and it’s been growing since. I didn’t really cum from sex until after 20… I did fake it very theatrically though, because I didn’t want to hurt my bf (and was an idiot believing it’ll hurt him)… so he prob thinks like that guy.

Yes I would. I dated a guy a swiped left on on Bumble. I was swiping and then met him in person literally 15min later and he was soooo much better in person.

1) I started with extremely low confidence. I was always told I’m shit and taught I don’t deserve anything. This kinda pushed me into hyper-achieving mode in order to prove I’m actually worthy. The thing was, the more things I tried, the more I achieved, the more I succeeded in, the better I felt about myself and my abilities to navigate this world - so I no longer needed approval. 2) My confidence never declined because the default was that I’m trash.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/22 04:14 AM

So here’s the thing; romantic and sexual components are just two in an ocean of aspects that form human relationships. Often when people complain about something related to interpersonal relationships is not tied specifically to romantic/sexual nature. People tend to never venture out of their social circles and it’s hindering many of those who struggle with relationships (men and women). The more relationships you form with various (different) individuals the better your skills will become. For…

/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/22 12:00 AM

In my experience many people (particularly in North America) are not able to handle stress and stressful situations at all. I’ve encounter so many people completely falling apart over somewhat minor difficulties and everyday challenges (can’t imagine being with someone like that and running into a big issue). This then turns into a state of chronic stress and constant anxiety.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 09:38 PM

I think that’s (unfortunate or not) true with anything in life really. The more outside of the “norm” you are the worse it gets, so you need to find people who can either relate or don’t care about all social norms. I wouldn’t call that overlooking tho, but accepting. If I’m accepting that then there’s no real way to “blow it”; it’s the expectation that you won’t know how to do X. It can also be a fun experience to go through together though.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 09:27 PM

I think in your example, neither would be a red flag for me. If you choose your escorts wisely (I.e. do your research and stay safe) and you value the experience, I wouldn’t hold it against you. I also wouldn’t mind if you’re a virgin. In such circumstances the most important thing for me is how someone talks about it, how they’re able to share (it’s brave ultimately), and what they learn from it. It’s obviously not going to be everyone’s cup of tea, but nothing “too outside the norms” ever is.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 09:12 PM

Yeah I will have to split it like that. That’s a good tip. Jodie Comer’s character is a psychopath/manic pixie dream assassin. 😁 I love Jodie Comer tho and her accents 😄

/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 09:00 PM

If we’re getting far enough to have this conversation it means you’re not socially inept nor unattractive; so it’d make me wonder why you’re a virgin or why you had to resort to escorts. So context and your circumstances is what would matter more than the fact you’re a virgin/visited escorts. If you’re 40 and never been in LTR I’d wonder why.

Most people grow up in an environment that’s dysfunctional in some aspect. There’s very few homes that are perfectly healthy. It’s a scale, so yeah, the more stable and healthy the home, the more functional the child should grow up to be (is it always the case - no). However, people who are able to overcome adversity AND become functioning, well-adjusted adults are generally fairly resilient.

I know folks who are in open-relationships and keep it quite from the public eye. I’m an actor and know many industry people who aren’t monogamous and don’t want that; but I haven’t met someone who would have a one-way arrangement. I wouldn’t say “cheating and wife/husband finding out & letting it go” falls into this bucket tho. The amount of people who are upfront about it and their partner being legitimately ok with it is probably fairly small. The ones who are ok with it, would prefer to have…

So; my best dating years started once I hit 28. Mostly because my self esteem finally increased and I became very happy with how I am. But I’ve always took care of myself, I’m slim, fit, and have good skin and hair. I don’t really worry about “the wall”, because it hasn’t happened to me.

1) I have gay friends, but not a best friend (I don’t have a best friend anyways). 2) Same qualities as any other good friend has (their sexuality doesn’t play into it). 3) The only thing that’s different is that I’m more likely to compliment them A LOT more since I’m at ease that they won’t mistaken it for me hitting on them. 4) I don’t differentiate between how I treat men and women.

The medic guy was much older (he looked 20+ years older) and he wanted to go grab a drink immediately, while I wasn’t really done with my day. I politely declined, but he followed me to the next stop on the mountain and asked me again “if I’m sure I wouldn’t prefer to head to a bar instead”.

Hahaha I’ve seen that movie and it’s my biggest nightmare ever since! 😬 Actually the lift stopped for like ~5min while we were chatting, and I actually made a joke/reference to that movie (which he has also seen). I ski by myself pretty often and was asked out before in the same way by a medic working on the mountain, but that didn’t go anywhere. I really liked this guys approach tho, because he gave me his number and it was up to me to decide what to do next.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 07:42 PM

Yes - a guy started a conversation with me while we were both waiting in singles line to get up the mountain to ski. We shared the chairlift and at the end he offered his number - if I ever wanted to ski together or go for a drink. I messaged him that evening and we went out for a while.

Eh, it depends. Is it the only option? Last option? Or baked into the system/culture (I.e. Romania)? What is ultimately “free to choose” - a decision between putting food on the plate tomorrow or starving vs having flashy things; obviously displays various degrees of freedom. I’m all for legalizing sex work, but let’s not sit here and pretend that all poor areas where sex tourism flourish are comparable to western countries. All of that takes a crazy amount of work, that most women (and men) don’t come even close to (and I say that as a woman who’s had to do most of what you list). Let alone having resources to even do it. 2) As someone who’s been rejected and has rejected - it’s far far easier to reject someone and move on. 3) Moot point. Most young women, don’t want…

I was told sex is bad, it’s something men do to women, and women have to give it to men when they’re in a relationship/married. It was a very clear message that sex is not for women to enjoy. I’ve had two therapists; one was an idiot and my current one is great. I also have a circle of other mental health professionals. People mistake therapy as some magical solution that will change their life. It will absolutely not. Therapy allows you to talk through what’s happening, build tools that help you shift your mental state and tools that allow you to deal with whatever is happening. Not sure how to quantify that, but whenever I was single I talked to anyone who I found interesting or attractive. I’m pretty chatty tho so it’s easy for me. I agree to an extent. I’d like to highlight another key word tho - “constantly”. I welcome venting and I’d never entertain anyone who doesn’t show emotion, but at some point you have to pull yourself together and solve the problem. Hence why it’s a yellow flag. 😅 …could be going hunting because they can’t kill humans or could be occasional thing for food… you just can’t tell immediately. 🤣

The same level of hours - per year? Per month? When I work I work many more hours without any breaks, until I get a couple of weeks off, until the next project (sometimes they overlap and it becomes very stressful), but I easily make over 3x more. Guess I get to relax and sit on my ass then. 😄 ..and they cannot be weighted the same because a day only has 24hrs - if I’m away for 20hrs there’s no way any housework can happen, regardless of $$$ or stress.

lol so since I make a lot more $$$, but don’t have a regular 9-5, I can just sit on my ass for weeks when I don’t work? 😅

Women - too cold/calculating and too emotional all at the same time.

lol ..what if they’re all dating each other tho? Who said it has to be casual.

I love the fantasy of two men, as long as they’re also super into each other. I’d be into exploring a throuple in that setup tbh.

It goes beyond that. It’s a problem with the whole entertainment industry. The “party recruiting” just got easier and moved to a new platform. I was working in the industry at a very young age and got invited to parties at 14+ ..luckily nothing ever happened to me, because there were adult women who protected us. But at the age it literally did not cross my mind that the parties are for sex and drugs.

I don’t know! But I heard the “piss out of vagina” before! 😂😂 couldn’t believe that… Also - welcome back! 😃

Eh .. (according to this sub) men target women not the other way around, so the women choose the best guy out of the options they’re presented. Tell those men to stop dating down? 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/22 06:57 PM

Oh yeah and I had another guy tell me that if I could influence when I have my period - psychologically …so if I didn’t want to have my period on vacation I could just change it…

I had a guy explain to me in detail how some product works.. he was wrong - like ..WRONG.. yet so convinced he was right.. and I’m like “I literally make it” cause I worked for the company at the time … so he proceeded to explain to me how he THINKS I’m wrong… so I asked him when was the last time he used it - the answer was he never used it. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Wait I thought it was top 5%.

It’s not like they all gather together somewhere. In a room of random 100 women, 14 will be into it. Now you have to adjust for single women and then actually run into them. Anyways, whatever works for you. 👍🏻 Thanks for providing the data from studies.

14% of 18-22 women or women in general? It’s not what I’d call a lot of options, but for the right guy at the right place, sure. Far from majority tho.

Thanks for the link. I’d not extrapolate Badoo data to the average population, but on there I’d honestly expect it to be higher than what the article say tbh.

lol.. but your personal experience is fine?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/22 05:22 PM

..cool story - and in my experience at University and work, that almost never happened. 🤷🏻‍♀️ there were barely any 35+ men in college bars, with the exception of one guy who was pushing 40 and was hitting the same bar for years.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/22 05:04 PM
24

Why do I care about what? I’m explaining; most women aren’t approached by the DiCaprios of the world ..and there’s so few of those men that it’s pointless to even bring it up as “evidence”.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/22 04:24 PM

This again lol Of course it’s not illegal. Who’s ever said it’s illegal? Tho if you don’t know if she’s over 18 then… had way older guys approach me when I was 16.. 🤮 ..and majority of 18-22 year old women do not prefer 30+ guys lmao ..and then y’all call women delusional. 🤦🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/22 04:12 PM

I’d say more than individuals on their own, the combination in question - particular guy : particular woman, is what determines what will be “successful”.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/22 11:24 PM

…and who’s paying for you if you’re broke and married?

So is DiCaprio dating Gigi then? 😅

The assumption is that you kinda already know them, so the “getting to know each other” part happened in class/within friends group.

You can communicate the truth and absolute truth in many different ways.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/22 10:35 PM

A couple of things: - Many people here seem to confuse being honest with being truthful. - How you communicate is just as important as what you communicate.

It depends on what it is: - values (unlikely that your relationship will workout if there’s significant gaps), - personality traits (depends, some things work other don’t), - physical traits (again depends, a person who’s super into fitness is unlikely to be a good fit with a couch potato), - everything else unrelated to values/habits (generally doesn’t matter).
