Being Mexican i always saw caballerismo as a progressive traditionalism as opposed to the bad machismo. That being said i don't think there's that much traditional about right wing ideas. Like that while 1950s leave it to beaver was never real, it was an ideal pushed in the next post war reality, partly as an artificial normal after the horrors of WW2 and partly to try and feed the capitalist machines but taking the woman out of paid work and back in the whole for unpaid work now that the men wh…

Not that simple either you want to or not, you can't have it women are unhappy with hook up culture while at the same time "ruining" themselves to not pair bond. I think the idea that you need a "hoe phase" to "get it out of your system" is dumb especially if you didn't want a hoe phase and hated being in it. The studies saying that promiscuous are more likely to cheat comes from studies showing when they stop being promiscuous for a monogamous partner they cheat vs when they stop on their own t…

its literally just the women ONE dating site out literally dozens, looking at women ONLY rating online dating profiles. and Pareto principle ISN'T A SCIENTIFIC LAW, and LITERALLY in the SAME STUDY, rating is 80%, when you look at interactions, ie messages etc, its closely fits a bell curve.

Ok so the 80% comes from an okcupid study, which is better than nothing, but isn't applicable to the whole population as it would be weak correlation at best, if i had to guess like most dating sites there are more men then women, the womem where rating dating profiles so that affects their judgment and that study includes all profiles so I'd assume even attractive guys that are bad at social media.

Not a woman, but I stopped taking her seriously when she said Christians can have ethical one nightstands with a straight face, like i get it purity culture is bad but talk about throwing the baby out with the bath water.

innocent till proven guilty, the system worked in his case, and it works im most cases, when it doesn't it isn't cause it their men, it's cause their poor, or disabled, or a minority,

Ok having quickly skimmed that it really doesn't really bring up any other dynamics other than being a man or a women. Like in the south do you really think a rich white women coming up on top of a poor black man in a dispute do you really think that proves that women are privileged in society?

https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2019/02/13/8-facts-about-love-and-marriage/ half of Americans are married in 2017, most of them are heterosexual. all those men, around quarter of American men, are they all 6 foot jacked emotionless men? also again, it be men dealing with their problems, is sex and relationships men's only problem ? How about telling men that their ideal for themselves should come from themselves for themselves and not what anyone else thinks they should be. Like i don't ca…

Ok, then we replace the duluth, my brother went to prison for domestics abuse with his ex girlfriend, which I can tell you he did it. My solution would be to teach both genders about what an actual healthy relationship is and the warring signs of an abusive relationship, both physical and emotional. I can tell you for a fact we both never learn that growing up. basically stopping it before it because a problem. For rape, teaching both genders consent, which is more then just them not saying no b…

I've met several bigger guys, short guys, sensitive guys, and not that athletic guys that all have girlfriends, most men aren't emotionless Olympians and yet most men are in relationships. I'm 5'5, i work out mostly to stay healthy, I work to stay in touch with my emotions and i've managed to get 8 dates, and even had a girlfriend (though we broke up because of religion) and i've only been dating for about 2 years. Also even if that was true shouldn't men prioritized their health more then relat…

So you don't think toxic masculinity is a problem? Growing up and to this day i am a more skinny and short man and I have been relentlessly attacked for that by other men. Manny of the so called friendships i've had with men were just abuse framed as "busting balls", these two things of accepting different healthy men body types and helping men have healthy friendships with each other and being able to vulnerable, would go along way to help men especially with suicided and important pillars of a…

this is left wing male advocates why do we let right wing criticism. Also what problems do we have that are caused by feminism ? Any problems we face specifically for being men specifically is caused by toxic masculinity, other problems are aren't are for other things such as class, race, or disability etc. We need to stop focusing so much on feminism and work towards building a men's movement form men by men that helps men and boys.

Well women do suffer more domestic violence, during lock down that becomes even worse situation. Women are more likley to work in minimum wage jobs, women are more likely to be in charge of childcare, with schools shutting down they are the ones who are expected to look after them. men do have issues because of coronavirus, we might be more emotionally isolated which makes lock down worse, we are more likely to die form it, we are also less likely to go to the doctor when we are sick which is ba…

explain how a prenup wouldn't fix that? Like i plan on making a decent amount with my career path, why wouldn't i sign a prenup, if she didn't want to then i know her intention.

So? I've been promiscuous, by that logic why would a girl want to marry me? Is it white knighting to say a girl shouldn't turn me down for how many people i've been with.

I'm of Mexican descent. I don't care what race I adopt, as long as they are catholic and can speak Spanish then I know I did a good job raising them.

so? my boss has 2 step children, and they both love him and adore him. If you're the kind of dad that only care about passing on his genes, then you're the dead beat dad that those kid's biological father is. Those kids will pass on the beliefs and values of their stepdad more then their biological dad. Also by this logic then adopted kids, which is what i want to do, is stupid. I would rather have my children love me and pass on my beliefs and traditions then my genes, this is coming from a gen…
