Why are you encouraging her? Sometimes when trying to be nice we’re actually encouraging people’s bad behaviour. I know it’s hard and most women wouldn’t like that, but still it might ring a bell. If you guys are not that close then never mind.

Well not to be mean but the evidence would be the ring. What’s stopping him from proposing except himself ? He knows you want it and he enjoys you getting excited about it, but sounds like in his head you might not be the one. I’ve seen so many couple staying together for 5-8 years and never marrying only for the guy to marry to another girl a few months or a year later. Just keep your eyes open and don’t try to see things that are maybe not there. I’m saying all of this with kindness and hope t…

So you’ve been talking with your boyfriend for the last 4 years about marrying and children. What makes you think he will propose outside of you wanting him to propose ? Edit: I realize I might sound harsh but I’m curious if you have any concrete evidence?

I don’t know why you were downvoted I think it would be good for OP to ask herself those questions. I feel that a lot of women find themselves in this sub to try to justify staying with a man or being submissive to a man who they shouldn’t be submissive to. I don’t think RPW is about being subservient to just anyone because your too afraid or loneliness or stuff like that. We need to honour our needs and wants as women especially in a marriage !

One girl I know was raped that way. She went on a first date with a guy she met in a club, he picked her up. During dinner he put something in her drink, and next thing she remembers she is in her own bed, with evidences of rape. Never trust any one that fast with any personal information -and keep an eye on your drink.

The thing scaring me for you is that HE is in no rush. Don’t forget that men can settle down at anytime and this situation is really not in your benefit.

I agree with this. 8 years is a long time. I hear a lot of stories about women living for a man for many years, only to be dumped and 6 months later he is engaged to another woman... be careful

you could accidentally come across as cold or disinterested Yes I think that's exactly what's happening. There are some posts on here on how to encourage your man to take more initiative Its too late for this one as I already told him what I thought and I don't think we can come back from that.
/r/RedPillWomen30/12/19 05:01 PM

So what is the solution? You can't go with the too attractive guys cause they'll let you down, and you can't go with the shy guys, because they can't handle you ? I really need a break from dating or I'll become cynical.
/r/RedPillWomen30/12/19 04:59 PM

Try to do the opposite. Do you have practical advice on how to do this? I don't know how to expect less, is there certain things you have to say or do ?

I think you are right, I'm bringing my insecurities to my dating life. I have been reading the book Boundaries by Henry Cloud, it really helps me to realize how much of my personal happiness I put in the hands of others. I absolutely get my hopes up too quickly and become loyal before there's any sort of relationship established.... I'll have to work on this. But first I'll take some time off dating or I'll self-combust.

The funny thing is as much as I am needy inside, I don’t show it at all. Mostly people say I am cold and not affectionate enough. So really appearing more needy WOULD in fact help me according to those guys.

I know the way I said it is confusing BUT i am not sleeping with those men and I do not outside of a relationship. Hell, a guy that would barely kiss my lips broke my heart and another one who didn’t even hold my hand!

I think you are absolutely right. I feel like an addict of validation. Just thinking of not having a guy attention for a few months is hard for me... which means I probably need it

I am needy in my feelings but I really don’t show it. I am really in control of myself because I don’t want to be embarrassed. I prefer that the guy thinks I am not into him than that I am desperate for him. He said that there should be equal efforts and that he can’t plan all the dates. He didn’t plan anything, he would text me on the same day to know if I wanted to do something and ask me what I wanted to do. I love men who lead, but unfortunately I can’t seem to find that type of man so often…

I’m not sleeping with any of those guys, we kiss at most. A guy even stop seeing me because I wouldn’t sleep with him. Dont go assuming things about people you don’t know.

Kara, thank you for the advice. I downloaded the audiobook so I can listen to it in the bus. I might have to stop dating for a few months, I just have been going to dates after dates and it’s making me crazy. Do you suggest I do a nun mode? I’ve been thinking of doing it for the next five months untill my 28th birthday, but honestly I’m scared I would just lose time...

Yes I am very sad, love has made me sad and that’s the only thing I ever wanted. I think part of this is that I don’t know what I want, and I just go with the flow. I still live with my parents, and I am often scared to take ownership of my life. I’m really contemplating doing nun mode, I feel like a bulimic who eats eats and regrets it and makes herself vomit. I know I should take time for myself, but I am giving out my heart over and over and getting it broken. But that is my fault. The unattr…

It’s not even that, if it was I would understand. But I mean “nice guys” that are not so good looking do the same. You give them a shot and they too disappoint.

I’ve heard that talking about your feelings works and it works for me with friends and guys that I date. Like instead of saying: “you should text me more” or “why don’t you text me more?” You can say something like: “I feel sad when I don’t have news from you” or “ I love spending time with you, but sometimes I feel sad when I have no news from you. I feel like maybe you are not interested”. I don’t know what you guys think but I find it more truthful when I speak about how I feel. And that way …

Maybe it happens only when you have someone you don’t want to lose, someone important enough to trigger this type of response? Or maybe you don’t love him, I wouldn’t know really. I’m not married so I don’t know how much of what I say can really help you, but maybe spending a little time apart can help? Good luck !

I think it’s because I’m the first girl he dates since his breakup. He is so gentlemanly, but I’m feeling like I’m putting him in the friend zone now which I find really sad because I liked him and I’m sure he does like me too

Yes he suggest dates on Friday on Saturday, we would go to his place and he doesn’t try anything at all. My personal opinion is don’t do it if you think it will bring you back to an unhappy place emotionally. Looks like you have grown and gained a healthy dose of self-confidence over the years, and I am just scared that meeting with those friends will set you back. On the other hand, it might be an opportunity to clear up the past and get the apologies you want BUT things rarely happen like that. Maybe you can tell your good friend that you are uncomfortable seeing the other girls as you are still …

Honestly, as a very bad texter, and as woman, I find it so weird for a guy to text me randomly except if it is for planning the next date. I’m saying just as long as your not together. After that, I am hoping well text more often and I’ll be more open to sharing things with him.

Well if he is older and very attractive, why 20+ would be a red flag? But you are right that I am afraid to be used and disposed of, even if he didn’t show me any signs.

I was thinking about it, and reread my response to you...and I figured out that maybe it’s not so much about the commitment itself but about the feeling that you are with a man that cares about you. Having sex with someone that doesn’t really have feelings for you is not pleasurable. The reason is because you stay guarded and you don’t fully give in as a woman. When you’re with someone that care for you, you feel secure and playful willing to be fully sexual. I was thinking about my dates with t…

I have to disagree with you here. I don’t think commitment is more valuable than sex. Or just maybe it is because the sexual market is flooded with cheap sex. But in reality a commitment doesn’t affect the man as much as sex affects a woman. And I’d even go as far as to say that commitment validates the man because it shows women that he was valuable enough for a woman to want to be in a relationship with him. What I find horrible is having sex with a man, and him not giving you a commitment. It…

Why are you trying your hardest when the guy didn’t even propose to you. I think you got the submission part wrong. Don’t be a doormat. Don’t give your all to someone who can’t see it or doesn’t deserve it because he will never be able to appreciate it. My opinion is that you are giving too much of yourself when the guy is clearly ready to leave the relationship, it’s like he already checked out mentally. Really I don’t understand this concept. Since men are gatekeepers of commitment and women of sex, for me it should be normal that a man commits and then you have sex. It’s not like asking for marriage. They can always change their mind so even commitment is risky for women. Sorry I am renting a little here because I really think men benefited more from the sexual liberation than women and it really sucks. Why is it so complicated to commit when it’s something that you can always take back, when …

No sorry my comment was not making sense. I meant to say that I was ready to be judged by his friends wife’s as I am younger than them and don’t have a high career. I was surprised that they were not at all judging but quite open and nice. I was wondering if it’s due to the fact that my guy is an alpha, but it might also just be that they are nice non judgy women. I might have read to much into this ...

What does it mean steamroll for an orgasm ?
/r/RedPillWomen14/10/19 03:45 PM

No what I meant is that people see as normal that an alpha man would be with a younger woman. It’s not sleeping with them that makes him an alpha man. I’m just saying how I think people view things. They’ll accept more easily that a man who is already an alpha would sleep with a younger woman. That’s my opinion and I know I can be wrong ! Edit: I realized I was just rambling on my other comment and it wasn’t making much sense so I deleted it.

Well for me it will be a LOT of regrets. It’s really hard for me to move on once I have sex, especially that I like him a lot. So I’ll probably lose a year or more trying to get past this. If I want to stay sane I don’t think it’s worth it. He already got the message. I didn’t play game, i told him that for me to be fully myself in bed and give my all I need to feel secure. It’s the truth, there are so many things I’d like to try with a man that I am committed to, that I don’t want to do with so…

I meant from an emotional standpoint. I am really scared of being alpha widowed like they say on TRP. I’m honestly at a point where I’d prefer being a nun for the rest of my life, than to suffer through another heartbreak. Honestly I don’t know how women are able to sleep with loads of men without hurting. I’ve made some error in the past and I was able to move past them and take them as lessons. So my intuition right now is screaming at me: THREADING ON DANGEROUS GROUNDS. I feel that saving sex…

Yes I am thinking of moving on. I really can’t risk becoming alpha widowed. I don’t know how I would move past it at my age.

Ok then I blew it. After asking for my ncount he asked me if they were all relationships and I said almost. I wasn’t able to lie to him. I didn’t say anything more after that. Yes I have made errors in the past, but I don’t want to do them again. I realize it’s my fault not his. Should I have lied? Actually my best friend lied to her husband, she slept with 7 and said 3 when he asked. Do you think that’s what I should do in the future?

I think you handled the situation very well! I understand where you’re coming from. I have this too. When there is a conflict, i always tend to be extra stressed and overthinking every detail (he didn’t do this, he usually does that...) I started to realize it has more to do with my self than the other person(friends and SO). I’ve also noticed that the way we take things extra personally and seriously is maybe what is setting the mood, and that the other person can feel it emotionally even if it…

I am still learning about the red pill and I really don’t have everything figured out, so take or leave my advice. I think you should really go see a therapist and stop dating for a while, untill you understand how to cope with you issues. Your emotional well being is not the responsibility of your SO. You cannot demand things from him that he is not willing to give. You can only let him be himself and decide if that’s good enough for you!

Yes I will try! Thank you for your help! Do you have advice on how to be vulnerable while still having the distance necessary to vet him? I feel I get attached easily to someone and then I don’t really vet them
/r/RedPillWomen14/10/19 02:21 AM

It really does make sense... I have trouble not investing too much early on. When I go out with someone I get attached very easily without really testing the man. I feel like I want the relationship to come naturally and as I don’t really know what I want, i adapt easily to someone else. Even in my friendships, I’m always friends with very driven women and it’s like i follow their lead in a lot of things. That’s why I am careful who I hang out with since I can be easily influenced. This! I think women have to be very careful with what they watch online. I used to watch a lot of her videos and also the ones made by shera7 and I almost bought into it. But when you look closer, that woman from school of affluence is almost defigured with plastic surgery and is not married. I mean she is teaching a class about things that she wasn’t able to attain herself. In general they are sad women and they sold their souls for lack of better expression. Sounds like you are self-sabotaging here. Try labeling these kinds of thoughts so that each time they flare up you can say “here we go, looks like my crazy thoughts are trying to take over” that will kind of help you separating from those thoughts. Maybe you are not used to have a good man like that? I know that for me, it’s really when a man showed me how I deserved to be treated that I became aware of my value...try to have hobbies and things that you like... maybe praying can help. Even if yo…

What do you mean by being vulnerable? Do you have specific examples? I think I showed him I was vulnerable when I told him I would attach easily to him after we have sex? I’m not sure if that’s what you mean...

I think I might not be emotionally independant... that’s something I’ll have to work on. I always need someone else to approve of what I am doing and to give me direction... I now realize I thought it was feminine behaviour, but the way you explained it I could be feminine and independent.
/r/RedPillWomen14/10/19 12:40 AM

Also do you think I should reach out and plan the 4th date or wait for him to contact me ?
/r/RedPillWomen13/10/19 11:25 PM

So do you think that I should now wait for him to invite me on an other date? I have been thinking of asking him to cook at his place for the 4th date, but I am not sure if I should go ahead and ask him or wait for him to text me back... I’ve already texted him to thank him for the weekend. Also...is it weird that I feel like I need to make it up to him for not having slept with him?
/r/RedPillWomen13/10/19 11:24 PM

Yes I do believe him and I trust him. I am just scared of me not being good enough for him. If we sleep together and he doesn’t want to see me again, I wont be able to come back from it. That’s what I told him. That for me when I have sex there is no going back...
/r/RedPillWomen13/10/19 11:20 PM

That’s easier said than done. But I do feel I will regret if I don’t try with him. I think he is by far the realest alpha I have ever dated.

Now that I think of it, my ex was like that also and I was really horrible to him (not giving him sex, wanting to live my life, not wanting to follow his lead). He was always saying how much he loved me, but for me it was difficult. I want to have a marriage like yours.
/r/RedPillWomen13/10/19 11:16 PM
2

I’ve always been in relationships with guys that were really much more into me than me into them. It wasn’t a problem to make them wait for sex... but like you say, after a while you become resentful and not very attracted to them physically. I guess I am a little scared (a lot) of not being in control. But it DOES make me want to be better and show my better side. So I think I am very feminine. I always show him I am interested in what he does, I ask a lot of questions and always let him speak.…

I feel like he is an alpha because he is very hard working, disciplined, people count on him, he is confident, social and very good looking. Also he asked if I had slept with a lot of men, because I gave him a lot of boundaries and he was trying to understand where I was coming from.
/r/RedPillWomen13/10/19 05:07 PM

How is it possible to have no sex without marriage in this day and age ? I’m genuinely asking. I feel like most men that are high value wouldn’t go for it, maybe if I was 18 and a virgin but at 27 I don’t think I can ask for that from a man.

I think the biggest thing for me is that she is more or less independent and that she has her own interests/hobbies apart from mine. Of course there are other basic things like is she employed, does she still go to school, does she drive/have her own vehicle, etc. I find it a little complicated to understand the balance between being an independent woman and making your man feel needed. I’ve definitely had some similar experience. I like to dress well without going overboard and I often have to defend myself. It’s almost as if people think you are snob or a bimbo and you have to prove them wrong by showing them who you are. I’ve realized how they react has nothing to do with me but all to do with their own insecurities. It’s easier to put someone down than to be introspective. I’m also learning to be more introspective myself after reflecting on that. I have to say this sub has…

I agree! This summer I wore only dresses because living in Canada it’s really the only season I can do that ! After a summer of doing this I can’t go back to pants but especially jeans. Nothing more confortable than a dress or skirt !

That’s why I think a lot of time, dating older men is preferable for ladies who want to settle down. A man that hasn’t his life together will not me able to offer you stability because he is lost himself ( and it is totally normal ). If he really wanted to keep you he would tell you that even if he hasn’t his life together, he knows you are the woman of his life and that he WILL figure things out for the both of you !

I agree, just give him some space. We women have the tendency to get attached very quickly when it would be best for us to also take things slowly. Also have you already seen slept together ?

Thank you for the advice, I’ll have to work on my openness for sure. I’ve come to realize I am too closed up even in friendships. It’s like I am afraid of being hurt so I don’t even try to make a connection....

Thank you, it’s encouraging to think that I have the power to change things by my own actions

My city is literally known for its loose women. There’s definitely a problem here BUT I do accept that I’ll have to change to adapt and that I am probably overdramatizing. I might have acted like that to differentiate from other women here who throw themselves at men... it’s a little bit harsh the way you said it but I never thought about MY dating game but more of the lack of men dating game.thank you

Is it worth it to go into debts to leave alone ? Is it really an obstacle to dating? I don’t have any good income now because I am studying full time.

Would you recommend a direct approach or more of an excuse such as other commenters said: asking for direction, or something like that?

Did it ever work for anyone you know? By doing that am I not looking desperate? I feel like your strategy would only work in the advantage of men and not women.

I have the mindset that I should be with a man that pursues me, and not the opposite. In my culture a woman showing interest is bad, and men look down on her... that’s why I act like that and it’s kind of second nature. But I’ll have to make a conscious effort to change I believe

I always thought that if someone likes me enough they would approach. I come from a culture where men are aggressive so I feel weird flirting with men I don’t know...I’ll have to work on that

They are transforming churches into condos, it’s not a believing city I’m afraid... I don’t need someone tall or handsome as long as they attract me with who they are and how they present themselves. I’m not looking for someone wealthy, just someone who is stable financially and has a plan for the future.

I don’t know why but I am really scared to let a guy know I am into him, so flirting is even harder if I like someone... so you are absolutely right that I also need to change my mindset...it’s true that I give up that vibe but once someone approaches I am very open and I give a chance to any man who seems like he has a good intention. For the city, I think you are right also in that I shouldn’t write off a complete city. Maybe I am make self fulfilling prophecies when I think all men are BP...

Do you mean smiling at guys in a metro for example? No I am way to self-conscious for that. I tend to ignore guys that I like honestly ... I should probably work on that. And also social activities where I would meet new people, networking or maybe volunteering.
