Yes, you are right. But if we go by the what happened here where FBI was in the title and was posted in that sub on the same day, it looks like a TIME link was much magazine needed along with FBI in the title.

I had posted a link here in this sub to a similiar article about the same book written in another blog(FarnamStreetBlog) few months back.. May be the association with TIME website made it to the top unlike the last time.Or I didn't word the title to make it interesting enough. Felt bad the last time it didn't find resonance. At least, now that this has risen to the top, it feels good finally a good material is seen by many more people. Eric Barker, the author of this article which appeared in TI…

sometimes you become a version of yourself to better fit an enviroment, you wear a tie to work, you act like you're at work. when you're attracted to a girl, you act attracted. with my ex i wasn't "acting", simple as that, her opinion of me good or bad didn't matter. Mason mentions Brene Brown in the book Models. I have read Brene Brown's book 'The Gift of Imperfection' and it is good as well.

Another game theory article that explains the shortage of available, appealing men. This article segues well with the current article. The issue is the same but looked from different angles.

Things that have helped me : Taking a walk outside for a few minutes on my own. Letting others speak and continue the conversation while keeping yourself silent has worked for me in the past but if someone is observant, they will question the reason for the silence. So it good to have some answer previously should the situation arise. Meditating for 5 minutes can also do wonders.
