Imagine thinking being slutshamed into suicide is any different than being bullied for their looks. I bet that girls is real sorry she... Had boobs and showed them... And as others have said- her death was well known about- and the butt of a joke. Thats not a pussy pass. Thats being slutshamed into suicide and then being slutshamed after you die. Sure the other kid got no coverage but his family also got to mourn his death without it being memed to hell and back. This meme isnt a pussy pass. Its…

People should be charged on their crime not their gender.

I'll try! I'm honestly amazed I'm as nice as I am after all the crap I've been through. Gives me some hope about holding onto it though XD

I'm 18, turning 19 in a month, and yes, I'm American. I've moved 19 times within the states though, so I'm somewhat well traveled within the states.

Thanks. I'm proud of my weirdness, it's cool. :) And I will mention my habits of being by myself mostly come from my childhood. My parents kept me pretty isolated from other kids, and when I was around other kids I tended to be the one that got picked on, so I was fine with it. Which meant I had more time to think. As I got older I realized it managed to make me a bit more understanding and introspective. So I figured it was a habit to keep XD

I agree XD It would cause problems to be sure, but at least things would be out in the open so they could be dealt with rather swept under the rug and stewed over until they create conflicts that are larger than they need to be.

Ah, I know those feels. I have a small friend group just because of the odd things I'm interested in. But I have to say, I'm happier with few friends and being myself than a large group of friends and pretending. I act a lot around strangers though, just because it is easier.

Why thank you :) A lot of people find me weird XD I spend a lot of time by myself, usually thinking about things like current social and political events. I also believe that you can't solve a problem unless you fully understand it. It would be like solving a logic puzzle with only half on the clues and not understanding all of the rules. You might get a few things right, but you won't get all of it because you have no idea what is really going on.

I'm sure we all act a little bit, but rarely do we do it ALL the time, and to everyone. :)

Yup, I'm a girl. I'm sadly aware of ow other women use their gender to get away with shit. It bothers me because it makes the rest of my gender look bad, especially when there are a lot of women getting screwed over because of their gender. If bitches would quit with the pussy pass shit maybe we could get to the real issues and actually help people. Then the feminists could stop bitching and everyone would be happier.

This is very true. I guess you can say that an N is acting 90% of the time, and when they aren't they are abusive assholes! I'm glad you have the right idea in dealing with them! I suppose there are many different "normals"

Thanks :) And yus, I love manga, and all comic books/ graphic novels.

The criteria only applies if it is exceeding or to the extreme, and it you have 5 or more traits. And yes, the world does have a lot of N's. And you might be right in saying you know a few N's, you may think the behavior is somewhat normal because you've been exposed for long periods of time. And the only thing I can suggest if you have encountered an N? Run for the hills and cut them out of your life.

I would have to say this is because you have been lucky enough to not meet one. They are toxic in ways you can't imagine. Also, this might be because the rising acceptance of N behavior, especially in American society.

True, but let me use this. "Normal" parents will take something away from a teenager they think is misbehaving, and ground them to their room. An N will take everything you own to a bare mattress and lock you in your room for a month. Both think their behavior is equally acceptable. A normal parent will give you chores, an N parent will want you to clean the entire house, top to bottom everyday. A normal parent will break up 2 of their kids who are arguing, an N parent will side with their Golde…

My version of a smiley face, I'm a terribly smiley person, despite also being an angry person.

1 out of 25 people is an N, roughly 6% of the population. On the surface they are a lot like any other asshole, but where normal people have the ability to put their assholery aside, N's can not. They can't see themselves as wrong, and they don't ave empathy. They cannot understand the world does not operate on their rules. It is also a personality disorder, similar to psychopathy and sociopathy. (I was surprised to find this out myself, but it makes sense)

We have actually talked about this (we had a talk at the beginning of the relationship about what we were open to) and he said no sharing XD Sorry to disappoint.

No problem! Yes, you are very fortunate in that manner. N's suck to live with. They are Emotional Vampires. Azzie was an awesome cat, best one I ever had. :)

Good example, my dad tracked my mom's cycles, got her drunk at the right time of the month and knocked her up so he could have a son born on his birthday, as a present to himself. I shit you not. My mom is far more subtle, so I don't have any short examples for you from her.

A narcissist is someone who meets at least 5 of these criteria to an extreme, also if you want feel free to look at some of my posts in /r/raisedbynarcissists. They pretty much detail my parent's and my sister's behavior. I would like to let you know though, most N's don't have the self awareness to worry about themselves being one. The fact that you are worried about it means you probably aren't one, although you may have an N in your life, and picked up a few habits from them. These, without t…

I got bounced by my mom last September, thank god, finally cut contact with my family as a Christmas gift to myself. I have been working on the healing process, but I'm hoping it will take off when I gt a therapist. Luckily my bf was the one who woke me up to the abuse (I was seriously brainwashed by my mom) and got me out of there, so he's pretty understanding. I'm sorry your relationship ended badly, though I think its awesome you decided to work on yourself before getting into another relatio…

I never called the cops because I knew this would happen. My mother also used to threaten me with "You call the cops I'll be going to jail for a damn good reason" Or "If I'm going to jail, you're going to the hospital" But to her friends she is the perfect mother, and the fact so many people go to her for advice is nauseous making. I honestly think the fact she isn't vilified like my dad makes it harder for me to heal. Just because the frustration builds more.
