I don’t know how you guys view this, but I always view someone at a grocery store parking lot either begging or selling me something. To be frank, I also don’t have time for that.

I agree with this mentality. It’s good to share stories on how to not be a victim and get away from society. Sure, we all know society is rigged, but there’s always a way around it. I don’t think focusing on being a victim helps anyone.

Work on actual goals and love yourself. Working to tear yourself down just for anyone else is absolutely insane.

I’m going to tell you I tried the same thing. I ended up just not having any drive at all. The problem is that I always want to get things done and keep moving. I would just recommend to meditate and transmute the energy. Look on the semenretention sub to find out ways to do it.

I personally would like to see workarounds rather than complaints. Example: People presented me in a bad image to my boss, this is how I overcame and changed it. There was a post on this sub about a man who found a higher paying job after being forced out of his previous one. That’s the kind of stuff I want to see. Society will do all kinds of things to make men fall in line. The question is how you deal with it, not how you dwell on it.

I don’t really consider it a loss. It’s more cutting out the dead weight in my life. If I want to talk to someone, I’ll talk to them. Otherwise I just have no interest. If I have no interest in something, I just don’t do it. This goes with friends, family or any ladies I speak with.

Pretty sure there are books on the Bro Code. Some may be satirical, but it’s definitely more than just a few rules.

I disagree. More likely they will side with the employee in this situation and it’s on the employer to bear the truth about the termination.

I would still sue for wrongful termination. There’s no reason an employer should be doing retaliation for reporting a hostile work environment.

If you want the cookie cutter life, with the house, wife and kids, go for it. You’ve likely already read the horror stories of doing so, but if it doesn’t turn you off to commitment, no one is stopping you. Matter of fact, the government would love you for wifing a woman up and getting a 30 year mortgage. Some people feel they need a companion. If they do, great, go for it. There’s always going to be some sort of discontentment no matter what you choose. The grass is always greener on the other …

They think to themselves “This is as good as it gets. I won’t find anyone better. She will help me reach my goals.” Also “This is what everyone else does.” Then men find themselves working 80 hours a week supporting his family, and making sure everything is paid for. At the end of the day we all just want to enjoy life.

I’m not going out of my way to disrespect anyone. I just want people to leave me alone. If I’m off work, I’m not your buddy. If I want to spend time with some friends, I will do that in small doses. There’s nothing wrong with your post, but it suggests that I actively care about society. I’m not. I have just chosen to not participate in a lot of functions. I think it makes me a lot less stressed.

I don’t generally think about what other people do with their time. If they want to have a life with someone, good for them. I’m not one of those people. I went MGTOW because with the girlfriends I had, nothing was ever good enough. They would then string along sex as a reward for me doing more for them. I just felt that life was simpler being alone. I enjoy it.

I personally think it’ll eventually get rid of itself. There’s no money in it. There was a waitress that was serving me that had graduated with a gender studies degree, and she is trying to become a realtor. The reality is, gender studies will die out, because everyone that took an interest will be burned by it.

“I’m changing the world first. Then if by some magical coincidence I find the perfect woman, I’ll settle down.” The phrase is a paradox because of how there is no perfect woman, it’s just something made up by Disney. People eat it up though.

I mean if I was terminally ill like that guy, I’d probably give it to any living family members before a girlfriend. I may get a relationship, because screw it, I have little time left. I’d give any play money to that, mainly because life is coming to an end. Do I blame the guy? No. It sounds like he’s coming to terms that his life is coming to an end. Can’t take money with you to the grave.

My thoughts are that it would break or be out of date before I’d get a full use out of it. For $3k, it’d take 16 years to measure up to a cheap gym membership. The screen is what worries me the most about it. Because if something hits it, it’s likely not going to survive. Being in tech, it’s either going to go obsolete or break before it’s end of life. Personally? I’d get something that doesn’t have a screen that can fit an iPad. You can update and switch out the iPad as you need. The bonus is t…

Getting into a hobby, getting away from society in general. I’d rather see how men are forging their own path in this society. I’d like to see what other men are investing in, what projects they’re working on. What makes them happy in a society that doesn’t value them. What cures the burns of being a lone Wolf. Something that’s interesting and saying, this is another way to go your own way.

I asked this same question in my20s. It did die down a little in my early 30s. I just hope it dies out a little more. I’d rather focus on other things. Everything else is more or less bro science. I’m confused on how this is related to MGTOW. Sure you can make roundabout suggestions that this is because men are dropping out of the dating atmosphere, but this isn’t what this sub is about.

Invest in yourself. Read, go to the gym, socialize. Get three goals: One that makes you smarter One that makes you stronger One that makes you spiritual If you do those, you cannot go wrong. Everyone has their way of finding these things. Most of us it’s too late, but you can find them by doing some soul searching.

They’ve just stopped asking me. Here’s how. I humored them by going out with the people they wanted me to. It all backfired for them obviously because of the added pressure, and I got to create a pretty crappy dating experience. At the beginning of my date, I just act so shocked and appalled that I only have $20 with me, and say it’d take 40 minutes for me to get the rest of my money. They say it’s okay, that they can pay for their food. There’s obviously no second date, because she had to pay f…

We all know the dangers of this. If we didn’t, we wouldn’t be here. However, I think this is just lack of communication in a marriage and it’s just a vent. This isn’t even bad enough to warrant a post to me. If she communicated better with her husband on what she wants, I don’t think she’d have resentment.

It’s easy to blame someone else (a woman) for your problems. I personally would like the posts a lot better if they had ways to improve their situation despite others. If they want to get out their rage, that’s what the original subreddit is for. While it’s understandable for the younger men to be upset about the scales being tipped, it doesn’t help anyone to play the victim. No way would I ever want every man to join. Someone has to pay for dates that I don’t want to go on. The more that those men “man up” the less I have to do to avoid that. Don’t recruit. You would just be wasting your time. If they want it, they’ll find it.

Honestly, I think most people aren’t real with themselves. People have been following society’s whip, so I naturally assumed that most of them were NPCs in this game of life. To be fair I almost fell for the same lie. Get a great girl, get a great job, get a great house. The problem is, no matter what, it’ll never be enough for people. They always will want more out of you. Instead play your own game. Make up your own rules.

I’m just thinking of all those payouts those men have to pay for her, if this is even real. The first thing I thought was, maybe she’ll have more money to pay for dates and maybe some guy could reap the benefits of some other guy’s divorce. The second thought was, what if she has like 7 or 8 kids?!

Here’s the thing about your post, you are comparing yourself to everyone else. This is what bugs you, and I don’t know why. Comparing yourself to others is always a way to make yourself look and feel worse. This is because you don’t see the battles they have to fight as well. Who’s to say what life is better? They will only tell you the good things. It’s your job to just be better for yourself. It’s not because you’re comparing yourself versus the rest of the world, it’s only for you. Love yours…

Honestly I wouldn’t do something based on a lifestyle choice, I’d just focus on what you’d want to focus on. Money, cars, entertainment. Instead of talking about going your own way, you actually do it. I don’t watch videos about going my own way, because I already do it. I watch videos that I have an interest in or want to help accelerate my knowledge on something.

I think you’re in the wrong sub. I’m good on my own. I don’t need anyone else to make me happy. This fallacy that you need someone else in your life will make you dependent on their happiness. I don’t really care about the other stuff. I’d start by saying, what do I need to be happy? If it’s more than just yourself, you have to figure out how to love yourself.

I don’t blame you man, I did the same thing. I always thought if I hit my tongue, and just worked on what I needed to work on, it’d be better. I don’t think so though. Some environments are just toxic and there’s nothing you can do. Find housing, find work, and find transport. Good luck.

Why does anyone need to follow these “values”? You are your own man and I am my own man. Some of them I don’t even want to waste time on. I could argue that some of those values are why I decided to go my own way in the first place.

I thought this would have been mentioned already, but this is not a movement. It’s just an idea. There really isn’t a set movement because each man decides his own way. To me, it’s better to not follow a cookie cutter model. These men know what lifestyle they want and what they can achieve with it.

I have thought about this, but who’s to stop me doing the bare minimum? Even me doing the bare minimum is quite a bit more than most even in my current workplace. But I know I’ll be bored and just treat it just like an assembly line. One input in, one output out. This is really when civilization falls. They need everyone to work in a tightly controlled environment, ‘producing’ something.

Whatever I did was never good enough for her. No matter how much I made or how much I did for her, it was never enough. I looked at myself and said I’m enough and that’s all that matters. I’m glad for this sub as it’s primary focus is self-improvement. The mods will be pressed a lot more the coming weeks, and I hope that this sub remains. I can see your thought process. I always thought I wanted to do the same, until I lived in Europe for a little bit. Just be sure you understand that the grass isn’t greener on the other side. I primarily get everything at the thrift store if it’s possible and cheaper than a regular store item. The reason is because I save so much money on work clothes and I don’t want to buy something that could break/tear in a few years anyway. When it comes to things I buy in the store I fully research the item and competitors fully. Then it gets either delivered to me or I pick it up. Then my advice is to make yourself a priority. Regardless of what others think, you’ll have to think of number 1, because when they’re gone (and they will be) it’ll be up to you to fend for yourself. The question really is, where to now? What do you want to do? You get to make the decisions now. Eventually we all turn to ash, the question is, what are we going to do to mark the world with what we have left?

As they’re finding out, this power play requires work. This is why they’re unhappy and burned out. It’s why we’re seeing companies start to say that year over year growth isn’t necessary. I don’t know anyone who still buys fabric softener. As I have said before, I think P&G picked a poor time to be a social company. If they eliminated some brands and focused on making their core brands better, it would have worked out better for them. So when they are facing competition, they decided to not look internally at themselves and improve or price their products better. They decided ads that make us more of a social company will make them better. This backfired immensely. Now some of th…

I think they were already losing customers to other brands anyway. When subscription services and other types of shavers/home goods products were stealing the market, they thought let’s become a social company. There are some things you need to digest. 1. The time we have one this earth is so little. If you love your dad/best friend, stay with them. 2. Everything is temporary. You will always win some and lose some. Seize every opportunity. 3. Weigh your options and go for the next best one. Now what advice can I give you? Calm down. This is all temporary. If it is real, which I doubt, I’d like to meet the guy. I’d like to understand the disaster of his life and how he made those choices on his own. I wouldn’t try to change his mind. I just want to see how the dumpster fire started and spiraled all the way to that.

Sure, some of that stuff is possible by itself. Put it all together it’s impossible. My buddy almost co-signed with his girlfriend 5 years ago. She cheated on him and now he lives 6 states away from her. He still thinks he’s found a new girl to ‘spend the rest of his life with’. Another buddy of mine bought a house, and had a girl move in. She was abusive and basically took my buddy for a paycheck. She wanted an open relationship. He didn’t. He sold the house. Did either of them learn from their…

Really if I was able to do my own stuff. I don't like having a woman nagging me on what I can do for her. She needs to take care of herself. You’ll think that’s simple, and that’s because you think you can handle pleasing a woman all the time. Here’s the hint: you can’t. They’re always wanting more. Once you’re done being their work horse, they’ll find someone else to leech off of. You’ll think that there are exceptions. While that might be true, they’ll still expect you to contribute to the rel…

I agree, but to me this storyline will be weak compared to other ones they could have chosen. I just don't see how this movie is going to be good with the amount of SJW headlines being ran with it.

Thought this was a joke on how society and movies are going. When I looked it up, I couldn't believe it, she will be Thor. It's almost as if the casting director was spinning a wheel of actors and actresses and just picking whoever it landed on.

Translation: Please don't leave society for us to handle it. We need you to continue on this rat race so that we can stay at home on your dime. All because you love me. Don't all close relationships have a rough patch? I mean there will be disagreements and sometimes people hurt each other without meaning it. I don't see it the way you do. Trust me, if the government gets around to forcing a wife on me, there will be no way they care about green flags. They'll set up an online database similar to the US government Healthcare website. They will then penalize people if they don't use it. Don't worry though, it won't last long. Women won't tolerate the limited options compared to Tinder and such.
/r/MGTOW09/07/19 03:27 PM

Everyone has their own goals and ambitions. Do I care if Plain Joe gets a wife? No I don't. What I think about is wealth, health and most of all happiness. If I don't like what I'm doing, I don't do it. Society can shame me as many times they like, but I'm not falling in line and doing their duties. I'm going to do what I want.
/r/MGTOW09/07/19 03:22 PM

The only way I'd get married is if the woman makes more than I do. If she cheats or divorces, I won't have to be a guy on the side of the road with no home. Even if that was all to magically happen, what's to say she won't accuse you of things you never did, or drag your name in the mud so that she looks good. I'll pass. No thanks.

To be honest I wouldn't care if anyone else knew about this. Everyone has their own life and own path. To me it's about getting out of the rat race and doing only what I want to do. When I was in relationships, all I would ever do is stuff I didn't want to do. What I want to do is enjoy a nice walk in the park and enjoy a nice dinner at home. When dating it's buying her stuff and then going out to a restaurant that isn't that great.

Censorship only happens when leaders fear that they cannot control the masses for their societal plan. "When you tear out a man's tongue, you are not proving him a liar, you're only telling the world that you fear what he might say."

It really is all bullshit. You've already hit that on the head. The thing to find is what bullshit you're willing to put up with. Then when you have enough money, you can kiss society goodbye on most to all aspects. Find some hobbies, find a job you love doing, make money and save. Then get out of the rat race.

Not to mention that the marketing for the movie was also a total shitshow. The marketing was so bad, I didn't even know it was coming to theatres. I say it may never go away, but it all depends on your programming and how much society has fed these ideas to you. While I agree that it's a problem of both sides, it is what a lot use as a model for socialized medicine for the US. When I see it being used as a model, I scoff. I always had to wait at least a month to get a physician in any major city as a vet.

People will claim that she helped build it just by association of being his wife. I like to compare it to how Bill Burr says that Michelle Obama running for office would be equivalent to the plumber's wife fixing your sink. Just because they were married, doesn't mean anything.

The stuff in this post is why I fear marriage. A wife that hits her husband for some reason is funny in Western society, but turn the tables and the man will get the book thrown at him. The cold statement in the post is enough to even give me shivers. I'm just glad I'm not falling into the trap of kneeling on one knee.

Agreed. There is nothing formal. There are names they call the women who married a military man like dependapotamus. It's very clear the military is against marriage, because most NCOs would say 'If I needed you to have a wife, it'd be issued to you'. But also there are a lot of tradcons.

They'd always say that I should get a woman just for the BAH money. I always laughed and said if the other soldiers were rich off of it, they would have gotten out by now. They never called me a coward or incel, just that I was 'shy'. I didn't care though, I just wasn't interested in a woman telling me how to live my life when I already had a bunch of NCO and Officers telling me already. It got to the point in my unit to where there were too many SHARP (Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Pre…

You say that the military makes the best slaves, but I say it has the biggest red pills. Most of your buddies get divorced after deployment, and they probably got cheated on. When I was in, I'd do anything to get laid. But I made strong statements about not getting married. I'd always say, "Every man that got married just to move out of the barracks has the life taken out of him, how do you not see it?" People would always say that I would find the right one, one day. Of course people would do w…

I'm a happy veteran. I made my choices to do what I wanted. I didn't care what anyone thought. I was already used to interesting living situations in the military, so how would it be any different in the real world. I learned to live with very little and make the best out of any situation. However I agree that you need to take a second and breathe. This will all pass. Everything is temporary. It's your reaction that will determine where you go. I recommend meditation.

Just turned 30 not too long ago. I have no debt, no car or house and I live in a different country every two months for my job. I'd say that it is the life. I always want more out of life though, but I'm happy where I'm at. I'm just happy not to have an anchor weighing me down.

As someone who has been where you are, just some mindset advice. You have nothing to lose and only everything to gain. Set your sights on where you want to go and what you want to do. Everything else will fall into place.

It was still easy for me when I was in to not get married. I saw my buddies when coming back from deployment get shafted with divorce, because she decided to cheat. Some got alimony and child support from a guy that barely makes minimum wage. Some people like to say that MGTOWs have no heart because "someone hurt us" and we want society to burn. Legitimately though, I would have donated that $50 if I knew it'd save the guy's life. I'm not heartless, I just know not to donate my money to dates or women in general. There's always that one guy that will give the "poor woman" some money. But a guy like this will be left on the side to rot. If it's a man down on his luck, I'm not one to turn my back and let them perish. It does pain me to…

Not a fan of the political posts in here. I'd like to be inclusive of all brothers no matter their political stance. Our stance should be to show men how women are. Also how society is programming them to be. Once they see that they need to go their own way, they will figure out the best way to vote.

I have not seen enough to support a movement, that being said I would be a part of such movement. It would take pretty much every man and some women to be on board to change the court system. I'm not saying it's impossible, just highly unlikely.

This is the best way if you want to change the legal system. I still think it's a fool's errand to do, but this is the best way.
/r/MGTOW01/07/18 01:19 AM

The thing you're missing is that a lot of us just don't care. We took our punches and we just want to disregard society. MGTOW is not about going back to the plantation where we can be a slave to the modern world, it's about getting out of it. It's shortsighted to think you can change the minds of the rest of the 6+ billion people of the world that think that the legal process for marriage and kids is fine.
/r/MGTOW01/07/18 01:17 AM

If there weren't any legal implications, sure, I would probably not be MGTOW. I'd suggest that society will probably have to collapse to get rid of those laws though. Edit: fixed mispelling

More power to him, but I couldn't do it. I'd have resentment for settling down to a family that I didn't create. Some men are truly happy for caring for a family and I say good for them. It's a contract he can't get out of and if he is now the presumed parent, he's going to have to raise these kids no matter what. I'll take a hard pass.

I agree. If you don't blend in with the crowd, you will stick out like a sore thumb in society. Right now I'm the only one not married and it's hard enough when people ask why haven't I married. I always say I'm looking for the right one. There are times where people press me to get a date with Girl A. I just say that I'm busy doing task B. I agree on most points here. Personally, I'm just trying to stay away from porn because of how much time it takes away from my self improvement. I'm not advocating either way, because everyone has to choose their own path. What most guys need to realize is that they are the their own person and they can do what they want, not what society wants them to be. Society will always want you to marry and have kids to carry on the human race. Once more men drop out of society, you'll see society trying …

They had almost everything wrong in the article. MGTOW don't hate women, they understand them. Yes there are men that have red pill rage. MGTOWs just go their own way, away from marriage and away from cohabitation. MGTOW is not a cult. A cult would mean we all have the same goal, but we don't, we all go our own way. MGTOW have all types of political beliefs. If I said to stay away from snakes because they are poisonous, would that be a political stance?
/r/MGTOW01/06/18 12:10 PM

It's easy to pick on something when it's not the norm. I'm the only non-married guy in my working group. So they'll ask me how being single is, and I tell them that it is great. The colleagues were asking me to get married. I pretend I want to, "to the right girl". I'll see they're on the phone with their wife and they are terrified. My comment after they get off the phone is, "So you want me to get married so that I can suffer with you?" Everyone in the workgroup laughed. Everyone already knows…

It's what I finally did too. This idea is too important to sit on the sidelines and watch it burn. We can do that for society when feminism burns society to the ground, but I will not let my brothers stop voicing their opinions. If need be I will pay for hosting of this myself.

This is exactly what MGTOW is about. Avoid the thoughts of simple people or things and focus on ideas. Focus on going your own way and improving yourself. There will always be someone tearing you down. It's all up to you to build yourself and your wealth. You're the only one who matters in this life. Make it great.

If they ban MGTOW, which is very close to my life experiences, I will leave Reddit. I have an account I lurk on, but I will not put up with Reddit any longer. The rest of the subs don't make any sense to me. This shows my life experience in so many forms. It would be the final nail in the coffin for social media. We can hope that Voat doesn't face the same treatment. I love this sub, it makes me feel like I'm not alone.
