A relationship is basically hanging out with someone a lot. Sometimes you have sexual relations with them. Do it often enough monogamously and suddenly you have a relationship.

If it works for you, great. If you're going to go that route, I'd recommend you keep them casual and short term.

Relationships can provide temporary stability. Sex is extremely dangerous, be very careful. I wouldn't chase after either.

Chase after passion, and try to discover God. Know your place in the world, and enjoy being out of highschool. Go to college only if it is in line with your passion and not because your family demanded you go.

Money is the same as toilet paper. Happiness is hard to come by. You can't depend on others or material to define your purpose. Find what it is that God wanted of you. Remain chaste in thoughts and dedicated in all your deeds.

Why would you come onto this thread for this question? This is one of the most biased threads in the whole site that features dozens of anti-woman / anti-relationship images and posts.

To the naked eye it would seem deep down you want a relationship, you just want others to convince you to reject the concept.

See the part of you that wants a girlfriend is the side of you that evolution gave you. The desire to find a mate, to have the most minor chance to pass genes to the next generation.

The part of you that doesn’t is the post-modern ideological part of your brain that has been influenced by past experience, finances, and others.

Now I do believe you should try and have a date, but you can live however you like just know you shouldn’t let one side of your brain have dominance over the other. Make a balanced decision. I recommend a practical mature person or no one at all. Oh, and not to go on completely biased threads to ask questions that may be increddibally important to your life.
