You can't. Move on and forget about her. Maybe your absence will instill more curiosity but you've already screwed this one up most likely.

the thing is, he DOES care. That's the problem.

something like this happened to me as well, when I was 20 (now 26) and in university. A girl in the class under mine told me she had a thing for me but was still seeing her BF. Up to then I knew she wasn't single, but she was hot so I treated her rather poorly (making fun of her, not taking her seriously, etc.). She told me that she had a feeling that something would happen between the both of us, likely at the yearly departmental ski trip. As soon as I heard this, I became excited and regressed…

Focus on things that you derive satisfaction from-- your job (if you like your job…), your hobbies, your friends, your workouts, your pets, your house, your car. You, you, you. Only when you are satisfied and comfortable with the way you live your own life can you reasonably expect to be successful in this game.

Sometimes I feel this way about the collective group of women who acted "in the way women do". In a way that contributed to feelings of inferiority or that I wasn't good enough. This is not on your ex, it is on YOU. You needed that experience to get to where you are now, and now you need to learn how to deal with how the world actually works to make it past this anger hurdle. Understand that you cannot control how other people treat you, you can only control how you respond to their behavior. Ma…

the way the woman acts is so laughable, it is actually insane that a person would be capable of that behavior. Absolutely illogical and lacking in remorse or culpability. I can't even imagine what goes on in her head.

it's not about making it look effortless, it is about putting the effort and not having to brag or discuss it at length.

similar idea to Patrice O'Neal's on Black Phillip. He says something along the lines of: "Oh, you don't have casual sex? Well I don't really partake in casual conversation…"

Overall, the idea of "top 20%" or top anything for that matter does not appeal to me-- it requires comparison to others, and that in itself is not "RP". I think you should always to be the best YOU that you can, not be better than 80-, 90-, 95- or 99% of the guys out there. You will never be the most handsome, richest, smartest, most charming, or have the most sex appeal if you compare to everyone else. That being said, it is impossible to not have some sort of idea of how you compare to others …

my 2 cents: not showing "feelings" is equivalent to being afraid to show your hand, therefore it is a blue-pill behavior. I think it is very important for a man to be able to express himself in a clear, confident and honest way. It is not so much about showing your hand as much as it is about maintaining a solid frame beneath. When you are RP at the core, it doesn't matter what is said-- I'd say here, being able to expose your feelings shows confidence.

alright, perhaps that's something I can try out-- although I feel like most of the girls I'll invite out I am able to get on a date. I haven't had too many girls cancel like this, I am thinking it might have to do with her personally since she probably has dozens of guys chasing her.

Michigan Ave north of the river is a good spot, although you'll find a lot of tourists there. Armitage/Halsted area is good. Gold Coast shopping area (on Rush) is also great.

I should add that despite being a PhD student and having a strong affinity to intellectual subjects, most of my hobbies/activities are outside of the academic realm. I enjoy live (electronic) music particularly at festivals, I have been learning to DJ, learning to dance samba, I play ice hockey and follow the NHL closely, I lift weights and take a highly-involved approach to nutrition and fitness, I love languages and speak 4 of them, and will be pursuing a career in consulting after graduation.…

I'm 26, about to defend my thesis in December. I can say that there definitely are pros: flexibility with schedule (great for people with good time-management skills), PhD makes you sound smart, it's an impressive and interesting (hopefully) pursuit. If you also go to a school with quality undergrads (I saw McGill mentioned here, I went there and have never seen more hot AND highly intelligent girls on a campus. Montreal is the babe capital of North America after NYC), that helps too. HOWEVER, i…

Definitely, I'm a huge hockey guy (and rarely do I ever find a girl that is into it as much as I am, although I am always happy to share my knowledge and enthusiasm), love philosophy, music and disc jockeying. That being said, girls are on my mind 80%+ of the time. Not everything we do is oriented towards attracting females but a lot of what we do is.

Hey dude, Realize that everything that we do as MEN is more or less for the goal of getting women. Whether it is chasing $, status, physique, etc. Your problem is not the fact that you are thinking about it all the time (which, perhaps isn't necessarily a bad thing, I tend to do the same whether I have a few girls in my rolodex or none), it is that you are too dependent on outcome. You must realize that most of the time rejection is not a reflection of your own abilities/value/skills, but it is …

David, great to see you on here. Fellow Montrealer living in Chicago, big fan of you and Alan Roger Currie. A few questions: (1) How do you handle flaky girls? I've had no problem recently meeting and approaching girls, but often they give me their contact details but it is a cat and mouse game to get them out. I employ your 3 strike rule, but recently I have just been cutting them off immediately if they give me a hard time trying to meet up. (2) I've had some problems closing the deal after ge…
