Don't be scared. I have had so many women fake pregnancies using almost the same words, for weeks and sometimes months after a breakup. She isn't pregnant. She's just crazy.

Women have never been added to selective service. This is for draft purposes. If you're talking about the recent Texas case, that has no impact. The appellate court will likely overturn it, and if not, the U S Supreme Court will. The Supreme Court has upheld the male only selective service as not being unconstitutional gender discrimination for a long time. The ruling specifically ordered no change in SSS's practices, and Justice Dept. has already appealed the unconstitutionality ruling.

There are a million reasons not to get engaged/married. I'm doing well, but I'd be so much further ahead in life if I didn't spend so much during marriage, during the divorce, and continue to spend due to the divorce settlement.

I can't help but imagine the situation went something like this... She had the pet carrier and a purse. The rule is you get one carry on for under your seat and one for overhead. This reminds me of married days. My divorce sucked, but the freedom I gained from it was worth it. I can spend/invest my money and time as I please now. So simple, yet so fulfilling. Freedom and autonomy are the keys to happiness in my opinion.

So true. My friend's ex wife is a movie producer, and the casting couch works both ways. She'd always be bringing random Chad actors to table reads and flirting with them, telling them their girlfriends weren't right for them, probably hooking up with them, and then never casting them. Just getting their hopes up and abusing her power for control/attention. I wonder if we'll ever see exposés on the female Harvey Weinsteins.

My wife got the dogs in the divorce because it ended up getting crazy expensive to keep fighting for them. If I had to do it over, I'd have taken the dogs with me when I moved out. She had the dogs the whole time during the divorce, so she really wasn't fighting for them. She just had to refuse to give them to me (or let me see them at least) unless a judge ordered her to do so.
