AND THEN TRIED TO DEFRAUD THE FUCKING CLIENTS FOR SOMETHING THAT WASN'T A FIREABLE OFFENSE!

I can tell you what her motivation was: She wanted that seat in the big office. She was angling for that partnership track and if it meant stiffing the clients (who lawyers are supposed to be working for) out of $40k, then so be it.

But, this is where we inevitably end up in feminized societies: Form accounts for more than substance, appearance is more valuable than integrity, and smiling fools and thieves are considered trustworthy.

I thought being convicted of overbilling is immediate grounds for disbarment? It's literally embezzlement. I hope the firm takes legal action against her for damaging their reputation.
