Are then any good evo psych materials I can check out without taking a class?
/r/TheRedPill09/04/17 04:02 AM

Personally I try to only use texting for logistics, but that's just me.
/r/askTRP07/04/17 10:47 AM

I was exactly like that. It's really crazy I got out of it tbh.
/r/TheRedPill06/04/17 11:57 PM

I mention this a lot but check out Patrice O Neal's stuff about women. He's an insightful guy.
/r/TheRedPill06/04/17 10:24 AM
1

Very cool. I became more TRP in mindset before finding the sub, after listening to Patrice O Neal's The Black Phillip Show. Now it's crazy how much sex effects a girl's interaction. It's like almost all of it.
/r/askTRP05/04/17 09:11 PM
1

Thank you. What is a man sounds like just about what I could use right now.
/r/askTRP04/04/17 06:58 AM

I really like the book Team of Rivals, it's about Lincoln and how he held together the country during the civil war by making his cabinet members all men who disagreed with him and one another. It's very well regarded.
/r/askTRP04/04/17 06:58 AM
1

Yup. Totally my fault though. I just didn't think it through.
/r/askTRP01/04/17 08:02 AM

Oh ok.
/r/askTRP31/03/17 05:12 AM

You're right. Any post in particular you think I should start with?
/r/askTRP31/03/17 04:49 AM
1

I was in your camp. Movies and how I was raised fucked me over. It was my fault too of course but I was young so I didn't have the opportunity to learn like I should have.
/r/askTRP29/03/17 07:03 PM
2

Any examples of ways he helped you? I know I'm going to consider getting a therapist in the next 5 years or so and OP's post is exactly the reason I'm reluctant to even try.
/r/TheRedPill29/03/17 06:49 PM
1

Yeah I think it comes down to insecurity and feeling threatened by other men. We learn a lot about masculinity from our adolescence where most of us have no clue or guidance so I think we leave with a lot wrong and ineffective ideas we have to purge.
/r/askTRP29/03/17 06:25 PM
1

yeah i know
/r/askTRP29/03/17 03:08 PM
2

I think this is true for the most part. But even sluts we sleep with right away we'll kind of look down on them for being sure slutty.
/r/askTRP29/03/17 10:57 AM
1

Haha that's good to hear. I started to think I was going crazy over here. Maybe it's because when girls are sluts it's threatening to us that we don't like it.
/r/askTRP29/03/17 09:19 AM
1

Yeah I'm talking about girls we aren't committing to. I get that our genes think one way but that doesn't mean we should. I'm betting our genes make us feel rapey sometimes but that doesn't mean we should rape. So if this strategy our genes gave us is bad for our personal lives like raping would be then we should probably ignore it. It's good to understand where it comes from but I don't think that's enough reason to purposefully consider it right.
/r/askTRP29/03/17 08:20 AM
1

What's odd though is that we'll dislike a slut who will fuck a guy on the drop of a dime even if we're not considering marrying them. It just seems counterintuitive to our goal of sleeping with girls we want to fuck.
/r/askTRP29/03/17 07:51 AM
2

Definitely, I think you're right. I guess it goes back to your earlier point of not defining slutiness by a formula. It's not really about how often a girl will sleep with dudes but about why. If she does it because she's broken then she's slutty. If she sleeps with guys for genuine reasons that just means she has options which you would want since a girl without options must be pretty ugly. I don't think that completely explains it but it's a start.
/r/askTRP29/03/17 07:42 AM
1

So how many dudes a year are you ok with a girl getting with in order to consider marrying her?
/r/askTRP29/03/17 07:11 AM
1

Yeah we all do like the idea of the good girl virgin type. Is that reasonable though? And is it helpful for us?
/r/askTRP29/03/17 07:06 AM
1

I do think there's a difference between excuses and reasoning though. For instance I did use to steal in high school. I reasoned that it was alright since I'd only steal from chains and it probably didn't effect anyone's life in the long or short term. In fact I was pretty sure that business figured it into their budgets and I lived in a town where businesses weren't struggling or closing down. Plus it was a benefit to me because it was exciting and got me free stuff. It wasn't until I got caugh…
/r/askTRP29/03/17 06:50 AM
2

That's true. Do you think that means this is an old outdated instinct we should work to overcome since we now have parental tests? Or do you think we should embrace it?
/r/askTRP29/03/17 06:27 AM
1

I'm not looking to be convinced I'm looking to understand. I understand I feel that way but I don't yet understand why.
/r/askTRP29/03/17 06:22 AM
1

Dude why is it morally wrong though.
/r/askTRP29/03/17 06:17 AM
1

That's a good point.
/r/askTRP29/03/17 06:16 AM
1

It seems like you're equating slutty girl with broken here. I think we all do that naturally and I'm wondering why.
/r/askTRP29/03/17 06:13 AM
1

Yeah that all makes a good amount of sense, and is good to remember. It sounds like being flexible and available are both pretty similar. The only real difference between a girl being available and a girl being slutty is that when she's slutty she's available to more guys than just you. Most of us don't instantly want a LTR with every girl we sleep with so why do we have a problem with slutty girls we don't want to date seriously? And even if we did want a LTR with a girl who's slutty why would …
/r/askTRP29/03/17 05:55 AM
1

I'm talking about initially though. Like right off the bat if a girl behaves sluttily that's a benefit for us. I don't think it bothers us because it means she'll have a busy schedule later down the road. That's not ideal for a plate but it's not a huge deal either. Maybe you could help me understand what you mean by flexible.
/r/askTRP29/03/17 05:26 AM
-1

Couldn't that also apply to girls who are slutty? I think we might be working on slightly different definitions here.
/r/askTRP29/03/17 05:01 AM
0

So what do you think is the opposite of a broken girl who is worthwhile to work towards?
/r/askTRP29/03/17 04:54 AM
1

Aren't we working against our own interests like that though?
/r/askTRP29/03/17 04:41 AM
1

I'm pretty new to TRP and 20 myself. It's great that you're in a LTR that you enjoy but I don't think you should let yourself enjoy it to the point of insecurity. If you don't want her getting drunk out of insecurity then I think you need to examine why. You can't force her to be loyal to you, she has to want to be loyal to you. In terms of frame in this specific moment, I think you weren't really ready to leave her over this or even naturally increase the chances of you cheating on her with a g…

Cool. How many messages do you reckon before you get their snap? You don't mind snapping first?
/r/askTRP27/03/17 08:19 PM

True that. It's a natural first stage but it doesn't help anyone.

My general "frame" in life is pretty good but when it comes to girls it's horrrrrrrendous. Any posts I should look at about this? I understand the importance of developing solid frame with girls but I'm not sure where to start. Specifically in terms of sexuality, everywhere else I think I'm pretty good.
/r/TheRedPill26/03/17 10:55 AM

I kind of agree, but when it comes to relationships men and women are assholes in different ways. And whether we like it or not we have to manage relationships to lead a balanced life. I don't mind that the red pill is about women as much as it is, I just wish it wasn't as bitter as it is. There's a lot to learn here, but I'd rather not absorb the anger, even though I get it, so I'm ambiguous about reading it.

Google "Patrice O'neal women" and take it from there. Dude changed my life. Unfortunately he's dead but if you ask any comic alive who knew him they'll tell you he's hilarious and he has the most insightful shit on women of anybody they know. Congrats on getting were you are early dude, I'm 20 and just came around in the last year or two.

I will, just on the basis that it sounds interesting. Ten minutes doesn't sounds so bad. A few questions: Does it matter if I do it the same time every day or whenever I feel like it? Essentially I just try to clear my head fairly unsuccessfully. Is this how you started? Thanks, I haven't been doing it consistently, just something I've been toying around with.
/r/askTRP13/03/17 05:04 AM
2

It's very generous of you to share all of this, thank you. I'll be reading and digesting.
/r/TheRedPill13/03/17 04:55 AM
3

To me it seems like the only way I can clear my head is by working through the (internal) problems I'm dealing with. It feels if I concentrate on nothing then afterwards my head remains just as full since I haven't "solved" anything. Maybe my head is just particularly full at a the moment so that's the problem. I'm just trying to figure out if meditating isn't for me or if there are benefits I'm not looking for or am too immature to see on my own. Because like I said, I understand why it seems l…

10/10 dude. This really sheds some light on the whole douchbag gets girls dynamic and will make it easier to think about in the future.

Great advice/story, thank you. I'm the idiot that would try to reply with logic.
/r/TheRedPill19/02/17 02:10 PM
1

and so the key then is to become what girls can't have?
/r/askTRP19/02/17 03:41 AM
1

I completely agree. It's tough for me because it starts out as a battle between logic and instinct. It's only now that I understand the logic of following our instinct that I can start learning.
/r/askTRP19/02/17 02:11 AM
2

absolutely. tough to understand.

I disagree on that front. If a girl cheats on me then that becomes her problem, the second that happens it doesn't have anything to do with me. (ideally)
/r/askTRP18/02/17 11:50 PM
1

Yeah it's weird that that's the case when it seems counterintuitive to what we want.
/r/askTRP18/02/17 11:23 PM
1

That's a good analogy. It's like their version of conquering us. Except it seems like girls truly enjoy being conquered by us while if that happens to us it makes us miserable.
/r/askTRP18/02/17 10:34 PM
2

How many dates for you to respect her? this is something I'm still thinking on. I do feel like we all want that "pure" girl, but since that doesn't exist then it probably makes the most sense to embrace the dirtiness and be into (and respect) getting in on that fuck buffet.
/r/askTRP18/02/17 10:32 PM
6

Yeah what's the new formula?
/r/TheRedPill18/02/17 10:18 PM

The only strange part is it seems like she'll think that's what she genuinely wants even though it isn't.

Makes sense, thanks.

I've been there before too man. That shit hurts we know it. The truth is answers are out there for you, just don't be afraid to look for them. It's tempting to steer away from the pain and ignore it, but if you steer into it you can learn a lot about yourself. What makes her so special if she doesn't want to fuck you?

the black phillip show is in the process of changing my life, I think. I also just started the book of book, which i think is somewhat useful in small doses. Message me in a few months if you find anything or make any progress, we're in sort of comparable situations.

I'll make sure to check it out. Thanks for the kind words. It's funny, I got most of my insights up to this point from Patrice O'Neal, and that also took me two or three listens to fully absorb.

Last reply in response to your 3! You mention improving this sub as a whole, and if I'm not a natural fit here I get that, but a lot of these posts aren't fun for me to read because they still carry tones of passive aggressive anger and resentment. It seems like there are a few posts for me, I love those field reports where a dude is a total dick but honest and it only makes the girl go crazy for him. And don't get me wrong I am very grateful for the knowledge you all provide me. But there are p…

Stop triggering me it hurts. I commented on a different comment about my concern with the sidebar. To expand on it a little my eyes are opened so much farther than they have ever been. For me that comes with a lot of bitterness and resentment that I look forward to working through. It seems like a delicate balance to strike now. I can easily see myself getting carried away and delving too far into the negative aspects of girls that it might initially consume me more than I'm comfortable with, an…

The point of this post was mainly to phrase the concept in my own words to help my understanding mesh well with my own personality. Trust me, I don't think I or any of us are stumbling onto anything new here. I think posting things like this helps me understand TRP principles in the context of my own style of personality and logic instead of thinking in only weird online forum jargon to myself. foudn Aha at least I didn't typo in my post you cocksucker! In all seriousness though I see that me me…

Yeah it's interesting. Shit tests are essentially what make up flirting on the girl's side. It seems like if you have what it takes it won't bother you and will be fun, while if you don't it will understandably bruise your ego.

I appreciate that. If you liked any of the logic of this post I highly encourage you to check out Patrice O'Neal's The Black Phillip Show (as in black Dr. Phil). He's a hilarious guy and I owe him for doing that show and opening up my mind to gender dynamics.

Ahhh interesting. I think I was trying to delve into the mindset behind AWALT, and connect it to our own confidence and happiness. Where did I lose you? Sidenote your comment made me realize I also tried to touch on the idea of why girls like to try to perpetrate the idea of NAWALT, which is interesting to think about since it's on such an instinctual level, but that seems tougher to think about.

I get what you're saying there. I didn't mean to make it sound like women are better than us because they like us for who we are rather than how we look. That's just kind of how it is. I haven't yet assigned a value to if that makes them shallower than us or not... but your thoughts are welcome.
/r/TheRedPill12/02/17 08:47 AM

Haha thank you man. It's tough because pussy is such a dumb thing to waste your time thinking about, but at the same time it's completely necessary to feel competent in that area in order to feel like you're not missing out and not leading a more complete life. Abraham Lincoln is my ultimate role model / hero, and I heard he was notoriously bad with women, so I wonder about the trade offs every now and then.

Check out Patrice O'Neal's The Black Phillip show. It's pretty much all about about managing a relationship. In addition to being useful it's also really entertaining. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hAmCjqVkFg

I'm trying to think larger scope, in terms of ancient history to the present. Is the way we are raised in terms of regarding women radically different, i.e. were these truths commonly taught at one point, or has there always been at least some sort of fiction most men like to tell themselves?
/r/askTRP10/02/17 02:07 PM

I feel like there will always be ups and downs. America was probably better before the civil war but that doesn't mean slavery was a great call.
/r/askTRP10/02/17 02:05 PM
3

It's tough dude I get it. You're living your life being honest with yourself. Many people live their lives as lies. You're already a step ahead. The truth is it's never easy. Be honest with yourself, always search for more viewpoints and how you truly feel. You can do this, I can do this, we're all always struggling and we're in this together. What's your passion?
/r/askTRP10/02/17 11:17 AM
1

I felt the same way a few years ago. How old are you?
/r/TheRedPill07/02/17 02:19 PM

Contrary to popular belief on TRP, there are still girls out there who wait for sex until they're serious with someone. Wait 100% of the time for the rest of their life to sleep with a guy until they're serious? I get that's nice to think of but do you think that's really a thing? I don't have enough direct knowledge to say for sure one or the other but my gut kind of doubts it.
/r/TheRedPill07/02/17 02:17 PM
2

Interesting. I guess the problem for me is it paints a picture of a generic kind of attractive, maybe lacking in other areas of life guy. While you see guys like David Spade and Norm Macdonald get tons of girls in their own unique way, which is closer to what I'd like to aspire to.
/r/TheRedPill07/02/17 08:23 AM
0

hahaha I got you. So it's like a level of honesty to strive to have with yourself to try to fuck the girl exactly when you feel comfortable to and feel secure enough if it doesn't work out. Does that sound about right?
/r/TheRedPill07/02/17 08:10 AM

Patrice O Neal changed my life and helped me reason with women in my own head more honestly and openly. Check out The Black Phillip Show, I think it could be especially helpful in terms of mindset when growing up.

Wow yeah pretty accurate. I think the key for guys is to allow the narrative of 'perfect girl' to exist, but only under the larger understanding / narrative that there will always be other girls who will make you feel the same way. Before I realized girls are almost always interacting with you in regards to the sex she can offer you I was blown away by how rude and, well, entitled individual ones I otherwise respected can be. I went as far as hamster-ing myself by rationalizing that plenty of pe…
