I was the average frustrated chump / beta guy for a long time, but about two years ago I bumped into Neil Strauss’ ”The Game” and, eventually, found Heartiste and the TRP subreddits. They have I have truly changed my life since – I look much better, am more successful at work, more assertive, etc. and things just keep improving.

The problem? I already have a serious long-term relationship… and a 4,5-year old kid.

My girlfriend / live-in wife isn’t fat or a nasty bitch (for most of the time, anyway) and she’s a solid 7. Maybe 8 on a good day. She's also a great mother, who takes care of 95% of the household things, etc. So not the worst choice, but had we met after me swallowing the pill, not before, I probably wouldn't even consider moving in with her.

So I now feel that I could’ve done better – and that I haven’t experienced enough, because I never had the opportunity to bang a f*ckload of hot chicks. Additionally, my improved life seems to create a lot of opportunities and temptations. Actually the only person who doesn’t seem to be that impressed or affected by ‘the new me’ is my LTR. My son is as important to me as ever, or maybe even more dear than before, which complicates things.

Has anyone been in the same boat of discovering TRP "too late"? What happened? Any advice / thoughts?

Edit: I'm 37. We aren't married.
