I can imagine that indeed most people who get taken there for a date might need an angel shot. So very good that at this company they make it so explicit that help is available

I was looking at internal news items from the company I work for and I realised this whole make up thing is also very much cultural. In my countries the females high up in the company do not wear a lot of make up. I just saw a wind swept picture in a news item of a female director. Deliberate active outdoor picture. I work for a bank by the way. I live in Europe and in the north of Europe people are less about looks and more about content and skill. Lots of make up is rare and actually more some…

I always have a cringe moment when I see a girl or young woman, completely covering themselves in foundation and make up. At that age everybody is pretty and you need nothing. That is where it starts going wrong. And the stupid thing is: how can you kiss somebody covered in stuff? How can they act passionate to you, if every move smudges the picture. I never get that.

How much time and money do you dedicate to it? I spend almost 0 money (of course deodorant and shampoo) and 2 minutes on my hair. I earn enormous wages in a prestigious company. No manager ever thought less of me for my lack of makeup. I’m paid for my output and my knowledge. I have a husband and I have kids. And I do not spend time on shit that does not benefit me. And I know I’m not ugly. I’m normal

FDS helps me in raising my daughter to make her own life choices. And FDS makes me reevaluate all the movies I ever saw and all books I ever read. It changed my worldview

Could be that it is a lot less on the obey side. But any form of Obey is Obey. And the kids is true as per your explanation, just additionally regulated by religious timing instead of when the both partners want to have sex. Which is even worse. And ok, the hair is better So please: NO on any form of religious union Edit: typo’s

But they are also supposed to shave off their hair after marriage, bear an endless stream of children and obey the husband

I think we are already seeing that retaliation in the form of all their frustration. They are failing and they feel it, but are powerless to prevent it

I saw this post in the original place, and had such a cringe reaction that I could not even read it at that point. BF 2 kids hete. And it feels completely wrong to ask. It is food for the baby! Period. Not sexual. I hope somebody ragged the original poster also here. I think it would help her.

Although I’m in a relationship with a HVM, tho sub is still helping me by changing my view on how to guide my daughter, on my opinion on movies, behaviour in the workplace..., thanks for this sub!

When I started my working life in a corporate environment I got judged by some of the young dudes in the team on 1) my clothes - suits without skirts ( I like to be warm in public transport and skirts made me insecure and require way more effort in shoes), 2) my lack of make up (see it I care not spending time and money on that!), 3) the way I sat and moved (If I did not cross my legs while sitting..., and not tripping on high heels, things like that). I never let is bother me. I dress presentab…

What does it tell you then? I on purpose dress several levels below my pay grade when out in private...makes it a lot easier to connect to people you meet. Downside: some clothes shops do not treat you well, thereby loosing our business. Had this a lot when we started working for the first time. Never had more fun then car shopping in gardening outfit. Makes it really hard for the shop to place you in a bracket.

I would suggest to this guys that he only dated men going forward, so he does not have to suffer from the situation he perceives as a problem

100% agreed. I heard it called the ‘fuck you money’. It is the money you need to have in reserve to bail out. Having that money as standard income is the best. This is why women should not become housewives without a job. It makes you very vulnerable -except when you have sufficient skills and sufficient ‘fuck you money’.

I think you know what is meant here! A lot of people do not follow their dream because of social convention telling them it is not ‘ladylike’ or not a ‘suitable persist for girls’ or that as a woman they are not ... enough for the job. Or that as a mother they should take care of their own kids instead of entrusting them to the care of others... need I go on?

I want to explain a bit more: a lot of woman listen to the opinions of other woman holding them back to act ‘as they should’, listen to their mothers, raised in a different period, who expect you to be a home-maker, or you listen to society who has a perfect image of you. Stop all of that an be your own person!!!! Do what you want to do, become who you want to become..., make your choices for you! I stole the image from ‘ get motivated’

Please yes! But also include in this definition men who expect the woman to do all the housework and taking care of the family.

Soap works against grease..., what grease do you expect to battle on those parts of you skin? Honestly. Soap is useful for you hands and your hair. The rest is falling for a commercial No soap on your body, water works fine.

With any soap you seriously mess it up. Never put soap on! Or worse: In! That is crazy. It upsets the balance and makes everything worse. Take this quarantine period to change this behaviour, let your body adopt to being normal again!

This begs the question: what makes a male drop in value? -Watching porn -controlling behaviour -sex on their terms/wishes/timing ....

Why not start a complete new subreddit for that one! Could be very useful! SexAdviceForWomen or RecogizeBadSexAdvice ...

I love overtaking them on the song side of the road in my small Toyota. In our country it is keep right instead of keep your lane. So being overtaken on the right is an insult. I try to do this daily

I really struggle with the abbreviations. Today I saw incel and something else I do not get..., I would really like an abbreviation list. It took me a While to figure out HVM and such when I first came to the sub.

This was really insightful! I considered my daughter (age 7) to be future high maintenance. I still do so, but now with pride. She will always know her self worth and never do something she does not want to do.

Help het to split financially or any other online stuff if needed if that may be hard for her (is she has the age that this is hard although looking at the picture she looks relatively young). In my country it requires splitting pensions and accounts and mortgages and stuff. Which is complicated stuff

I was reading this and thinking: he does not enough chores, and thinking: make him do the coffee and the breakfast. I had to read the commentaries to understand that apparently some people take 45 min to poop. Anybody doing that would get send to the doctors by me. That is not normal. And not healthy. I would adres that: make them eat fiber, less meat, no more white bread and so on.... and address this. Either laziness as suggested or this is a medical problem. Might not be fixable for everybody…

Typical man-child Out of curiosity: ask him if he also does that with all his friends. Or wether he does it with his mother. Funny to see how he reacts to that. Typical
