I can't believe this barbaric and painful procedure is forced on infants without their consent! It makes me sick

Infant Circumcision is the stupidest and most pointless thing you could ever do. It has no significant health benefits at that age and they lose valuable tissue without their consent.

The only difference is that one is socially acceptable.

"This article is about male circumcision. For female circumcision, see female circumcision" or "This article is about MGM. For FGM, see FGM" How about just "This article is about Genital Mutilation"?

This post is for the fucking idiots saying I'm doing wrong on being a parent to my daughter bc I got her circumcised. KISS MY ASS! You're foreign anyway & I honestly don't give a rats ass what you think about me circumcising my daughter. My kid! My decision! If you don't like it, quit following me.

Just imagine being born and being happy and then ur immediately subjected to lifelong penis mutilation for a religion you may or may not want to be a part of

How can they assume you want to be a part of a religion and therefore mutilate your penis as a requirement of you are just an infant

I am not an anti-semitist, but something is wrong with your religion if it revolves around infant penis mutilation

But what if they don't like the clipped look and they want their foreskin back? Too bad. It's way way way less painful for an adult than it is an infant. You can always get circumcised later, but you can never fully undo a circumcision

So first he's against it, saying the medical data on it is shakey and now he supports it. What a scumbag, likely to satisfy the general public

Ah yes, I support strapping baby boys to literal cutting boards and painfully cutting off a very sensitive area of their genitals permanently without their consent

How about human rights?

I can't say it doesn't have medical benefits; but I don't think all of that pain of a permanent non-reversible procedure that removes functional tissue is worth it. Theres literally more benefits to cutting off male breast tissue at birth.

I feel so bad for the infant; he is literally getting strapped to a board, getting his foreskin forcefully retracted, and getting a very sensitive region of his body permanently amputated all while being awake 😬

Im sure an open wound exposed to shit and urine is MUCH MUCH cleaner then a sealed protective tissue

There are no significant benefits to circumcision, especially routine infant circumcision. The only thing you might be able to call a "benefit" is that some people think it looks better, but thats very subjective and only a thing that should be decided by the owner of the penis.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
