As men I think we are programmed to desire more than one partner eventually. This is why the concept of monogamy and marriage is frowned upon by a lot of people here. However, you're married so the situation is a bit different. Like other questions have asked, is your wife physically attractive to you or could you reshape her into a woman that you are? Or are there other circumstances that make her less attractive like her personality? Or are you stressed out?

Recently dealt with this as well and thanks for the FR. My situation is similar and while it hasn't improved to your extent it is better, mostly because I have realized that I have options and I know I'm willing to go through with them. When she "calls your bluff", if it isn't a bluff there isn't anything to call. It's what you really mean.

This is obviously what I needed because it feels like someone just slapped me and told me to wake up. Thanks.

Wow, I needed this today. Thanks for the insight. Anger has gotten me nowhere except further into a pile of shit and I know it's my fault for acting like a bitch.

If my wife wants to go out with her friends usually it is for dinner and drinks. Her friends are low SMV and all married, generally overweight and not attractive at all, my wife is by far the highest SMV among them. When she gets home inevitably she tells me about some guy flirting with them or a really friendly waiter, etc. The thing is, it makes her feel good about herself and I consider it almost a comfort test. I make sure she knows how hot she still is because I'm secure in the fact that sh…

Completely agree with this. I'm the product of an absentee dad who worked and then ignored his kids when he was around, it stunted me brutally. No male role model for any gender of child means trouble down the road in my opinion.

There is an app called Synthesia which is a virtual piano teacher. If you had headphones nobody would know you were learning piano, and it teaches you how to play any song you want to upload.

Sounds like you did well. I might caution against going nuclear too quickly (I did and it wasn't warranted and actually set progress back.). Start with dread, ie if she asks where you went last night tell her nothing, let the hamster run. The sex thing is a huge issue for a lot of us married guys but I'm living proof if you increase dread, start asserting yourself and just acta non verba things do get better. Focus on improving yourself. Have you ever actually come out and said you think the ill…

Like the other poster said, would you have fun anyway? Do things based on whether or not you want to, not concerning yourself with what she is or isn't going to do. If it is strictly a two couple thing then have fun with the other couple and she can do whatever she wants.

My wife looked up a lot of stuff and we got info out of magazines, the web etc. The only book I recommend to everyone that ever has a baby is Happiest Baby on the Block and the sequel Happiest Toddler on the Block - one is for newborns and one for toddlers. Both give awesome tips on managing kids.

If you're looking into sales look into B2B stuff, anything with electronics or equipment is generally good. Companies like Xerox will hire anyone and turn them into an amazing salesperson in 1-2 years and you will be able to get hired anywhere. You just have to work like a dog and take a lot of crap (like anything worth doing in life). Tons of companies hire young guys as commercial sales reps and once you are in it for 2 years and get good, you can write your own ticket. They will also provide …

Show her what a good example of a man is and teach her how to live in today's world the best you can. There's a sub here called redpillwomen that you could check out. My older daughter is only two, but she is already learning respect for adults, not to talk back or be rude, say please and thank you and if her parents say something she does it. It's never too early and kids love structure and boundaries, in fact they thrive on it. She has chores, even though she's two (she feeds the dog and helps…

I think you're in for a rude shock at some point if you stay as her orbiter. Once she decides she wants sex, you're not going to be the guy because you're already friend zoned. Then you'll walk in on her banging a random Chad at a party. Don't waste your time. There are many girls out there.

I think the point is to not give a fuck what others think and be confident within yourself. You create your own reality and shouldn't be allowing others to dictate how or what you do. You can look at others and think that they will have a tough time based on x, meanwhile they are fine because what you perceive as a limitation isn't even on their radar as such. To me that's a big part of RP.

Exactly how I saw it. Plus, we often say she's two going on four anyway.

You might want to wear two condoms. And don't go down on her. That's code for she gets railed by random guys every week.

I have a wife in a similar situation but hers is hormonal due to breastfeeding stuff, her vagina is on fire all the time so sex is out of the question. There's lots of ways she can satisfy you without actual sex. To me, the fact she's still willing to do anything is really good for you. Get used to hand jobs and just hang on. Likely the fact you're willing to forgo sex for now and wait for her to heal means that once she can have sex properly she will see you differently and really want to pleas…

I think once all your other obligations are met (and that is to your household AND yourself) it's fine. I jump back into WOW every now and then and muck around, but then I always find that it is just a big time sink and I'd rather be reading, studying or even watching sports if I want to relax. Like another poster said, set a time limit though. It's easy to get sucked in, stay up too late or miss a workout and it can be a slippery slope. Keep your priorities in line.

So now your next task is to not go back. As I said in my previous post, if you feel the urge, just punch yourself in the nuts - hard. You're better off alone than with someone mentally unstable.

I didn't realize I wanted to have kids until I was 32, FWIW. Now I have two and they are amazing little girls. However, at your stage you have a hard decision to make. I'd suggest having the talk about it sooner rather than later. The last thing you want is for her to suddenly suggest that you blow in her unprotected or she "forgot" to take her birth control and whoops. Communication is really important, and be prepared that this issue may be a deal breaker for both of you. Also, remember if it …

I'll give you the simplest answer: cut her off, never contact her again and move on with your life. She is a train wreck and unworthy of your time, she has proven that many times over. Whenever you feel like contacting her punch yourself in the nuts. Hard. Deal with your issues and continue to improve. Daily.

She's long distance, surrounded by other guys who are going to be making six figures out of school and already has friends who are telling her she'd be a good match with guys who aren't you. You're doomed. What's the end game? Is she planning on moving back to your city after school, even if she gets offered a great job in another city? Are you going to move there and leave your life? As a veteran of several LTRs in my 20's I can tell you that odds are about zero this is going to work. The fact …

Up voted because awesome. Had the same thing happen with bystanders once in a subway car when a guy had a seizure and I was the only one bothered to help and trigger the alarm. In fact, one woman even got mad because I delayed the train. People suck.

Many of the posts here should be posted in other forums about how to handle your kids. Toddlers get bored, especially when they are dealing with sitting still listening to adults talk and maybe not getting food they like. Of course this is going to happen. In my opinion OP handled it quite well, including shutting down the wife and showing that he could handle the situation. So many parents are worried about hurting the feelings of their precious little flower and then don't realize they are pav…

One factor to consider is whether the 11 year old fell in love with the bed and really wanted it. Just sending it back if that is the case might have to be handled with proper RP parenting. But I'll echo what others have said. Big financial decisions get made together in our house, with me having final veto power. Send the bed back and set stronger boundaries.

Like others have said, I'd say allow it because she's just curious. Hopefully you've been doing a good job and her hamster thinks you're meeting up with several personal trainer fitness models every morning. Once she realizes that isn't the case and sees you're actually just trying to improve yourself she will likely back off. I'd always encourage her to go to the gym, it makes her hotter looking and gets her testosterone going, which = more sex. Just let her find her thing, which might actually…
