Heh. I see what you're pointing at now... This involves re-wiring the whole point of view on myself only. OK. But is there a way to influence stuff around me by using this attitude or the whole thing is just to be a standing rock and let all the waves crash on me? How do I fight this actively, rather than passively as you suggest?

My concern was related to the case where lay goal > any other roadblock. I'm glad to read that allows exceptions. The test doesn't necessarily involve craziness, but just the very unpleasant personality vibe that comes off the ongoing conversations, whereas I feel like I'd stand up and start shouting at them or punching them in the face. Whether it is a matter of standards or not, the problem is the candidate plates I meet fail this "test" almost more that 50% of the times.

at the very beginning she proposed for the following week. so i said "ok then, Tuesday" (a day when nothing ever does anything), but she said she'd be busy on Tue, so she proposed Wed and I accepted. She then asked if drinks or dinner, I said 'both' and that was about it.

my experience: use text to setup dates set up date and stop texting because i hate texting anyway. date day comes and she flakes ignoring that we had planned a meetup happens all the fucking time. i really dont know how to get past this shit. it's like if you don't text between the day you set up the date and the date day itself, they just lose interest completely like this.
