I did that like 3 weeks ago on a bus for the first time and now I'm in my first relationship. I don't know if I can do it now, though. Talking is always nice, but now I don't really have an underlying reason to. Before it was to better my social skills, have fun and maybe get a number, but I don't think flirting with other girls would be very fair to her. I could talk about normal things, but without flirting it would seem pretty random, I think.

When you say talk to at least one girl per day, do you mean a random one, or someone you might be somewhat familiar with (a classmate, for example)?

What do you guys think about giving her options? For example, you could ask her if she wants to go bowling, to a bar, or a cinema.

I'm kinda busy on the weekend, so I'm thinking to maybe ask her tomorrow if she wants to do anything on Thursday or Friday. Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it! :)

Thanks for replying! Do you think I should wait for her to get back to me, or, as /u/Zach_Fair_ suggested, getting off Facebook by asking for her number and when she'll be back? His comment: hmm ok. I'd be a little more decisive and ask her for her number too . You want to get off facebook because texting is more personal. [24 hours later] " okay let's do this right, give me your number so we can make plans to get dinner sometime. when do you get back by the way? " Both ways are probably fine, b…

Thanks. I'll do that! Edit: Actually, I'm just wondering if I'd maybe sound a bit desperate, if I didn't let her decide when to get back to me. What do you think?

Update: I've asked her out. Can you give me some feedback on how I chose to ask her out? I feel like if things weren't how they were, I'd have done a bit more smalltalk, but maybe I didn't make a very bad move, after all. Initially, I was hoping to catch her when she was online on Facebook, so I could ask her out in real-time. However, she had already sent me a message, continuing our conversation about gaming, asking me what I thought about Portal 2. Since during the 2 days I'd been Facebook fr…

I've already asked her out. She said it was a sweet offer, but she was out of town that day, but maybe another time. I agreed and left it at that, expecting her to ask me out herself next time. What mistakes did you make? What would have been a better way to approach the situation? I'm genuinely interested, because that sounds like something I would say. It's always easier to approach someone if you have some experience/knowledge about it.
