I don't think you understand what I was saying. You're talking about happiness, while I'm talking about a stable identity. You can certainly be happy with yourself while you're still changing, but the attractive part that OP is talking about comes from knowing what you want and who you are. That's why (I believe) OP says to just focus on being happy as you described and not worry about being alpha until you're fully matured.

Agreed. So much of being attractive is being confident and secure in who you are. In high school and earlier, you're still becoming that person you'll want to be confident and secure in later in life.

You don't want to be that guy that is categorized into any one single niche. Great response. This is the point I wanted to emphasize. My issue wasn't smoking pot or even being known as a smoker - it was me being uncomfortable with the association.

Not sure if this advice is universally applicable, but try getting some new clothes or a bold new haircut. I personally feel enormously more confident when I'm wearing this pair of shoes I get lots of compliments on. I won't speak for everyone, although I'd assume plenty of guys would agree. I don't "shit test" because I judge a woman by the way she acts normally. "Shit tests" kind of feel like setting someone up for an answer, so I know I wouldn't take much stock in the results. The best way to see someone's true character is when they don't think they're being observed.
