I was doing somewhat fine yesterday morning at work until I tried adding my friend back on Facebook (I had removed him just because he was a mutual friend and I didn't want to see tags/notifications). When I did, it showed a group message where my ex had been in it, and just seeing her new picture in that thumbnail -- even though it was a tiny thumbnail -- sent a jolt of anxiety through my body that lasted the whole day.

Typically I can go back to sleep within about 5 minutes. It's just randomly waking up throughout the night. I might try moving to a couch if it gets bad though -- my cats usually see that as an invitation to sleep on top of me.

I have melatonin tablets that don't really do much for me. I found 5mg gummies to make me extremely groggy, so I went with 1mg tablets. 1-2 of those don't really have an effect. so I'm not sure. Maybe I can try Zzzquil or go to a doctor if it doesn't get any better.

The first week of my separation, I lost 15 pounds. But because I had been wanting to lose weight for a while anyway, I used is as a jump start to lose more; I've lost a total of 30 pounds so far and climbing. :) My point is use the divorce to your advantage. Do things you didn't get to do when you were with the person. It's been almost three months to the day that my ex-wife cheated on me and left. The first month was the most difficult. Same here. The papers will be turned in this week and processed (no court/lawyers involved since it's uncontested) and I no longer have feelings for the ex-wife, so I want to see where it goes with this girl. I haven't mentioned that I was previously married since it's only on date #3, and frankly I don't know if I should for a while unless it gets very serious. Not sure what the norm is for doing so...

Thanks. I'm not sure if you're into it, but try some dating apps and really put effort into your profile. OKCupid has been the best so far for me -- I didn't care for Tinder and others. Facebook actually started a dating service in the app, too, so that might be best for finding real people (before the bots jump on). Hope this helps.

We split the $137 it costed for DivorceWriter. Not sure how much the clerk's office will charge to file for divorce, but those are the only things we are having to pay for, thank God.

I guess I should consider myself lucky. All I did was use an online service (DivorceWriter) to get the forms typed up. Just have to bring them to the clerk's office and get them processed -- no court or lawyers needed. Of course, we don't have kids and she just decided to let me keep everything (junk and all) so she could have a fresh start. And yes, there's definitely hope. 1 800 junk Well, at the minimum I'm selling her wedding ring. I paid $400 for it (I know, not much), so I can probably get $150-200 out of it easy. She also probably has a lot of expensive cosmetics where she got free demo products at her cosmetics store as a manager.

We agreed and are moving forward. I'm using DivorceWriter to create the paperwork so we don't have to deal with lawyers or appear in court. I'll take my loss and just move on. That said, when she said everything, I guess she literally meant everything in the house. I'm stuck with boxes of her stuff all over the place that she said to keep.

That's what I'm thinking. Basically her "offer" is that I get to keep pretty much everything and that she won't owe me that $1000 anymore. If I disagree, then we would have to go through all of our belongings and piece it out, which I do not want to do. This might be the best option just so it's done and over with and no lawyers/court/etc.
