2	Just a quick question about sexism. I guess my understanding of benevolent sexism is that it results from historically perceived "flaws" or "weaknesses" of a gender (for example, women being the "weaker" sex requiring protection). I also feel like the difference between hostile and benevolent sexism, is that in hostile sexism, the instigator benefits and the victim suffers, while in benevolent sexism the victim benefits while the instigator suffers. 3	Just a quick question about sexism. To clarify my original post, I don't lean one way or the other in terms of accepting benevolent sexism towards men, I just couldn't think of any counter points. 24	Bad sex is not rape. Happily I have an opposite story to tell about the ShoTime series Shameless. I just watched Season 3 Episode 3 (May I Trim Your Hedges?). 3	Crazy Landlord Assaults Man, Realizes It Was On Camera Then Acts Like He Raped Her In this case, I agree with you. The man has concrete evidence to prove that she is falsely claiming rape. Most people will say that "If you make the punishment too severe, less real victims will come forward." The only way to fix this, is too punish people that are guilty BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT.
