Yes I've read it. I would say that they complement each other very well. While sex at dawn are more about the nature behind sex and relathionships, this is a real story of someone exploring different types of relathionships and his reflections of it. I can recommend Christopher ryans podcast where he interviews niel strauss

I'm 60% trough the book. Great book about love and relationships where he explores the world of polygami. Would recommend to anyone interested in getting a wider view of healthy relathionships. Has nothing to do with "game".

I'm not sure if the problem is that you are introvert, or shy/insecure. I am a classic introvert, but compared to big mingle parties, I love having more meaningful conversations with one person at a time. If you are like me, it helps to actually try to get to know the other person on a personal level. Get personal, and when the topic becomes more interesting than what her plans are for the weekend, you might find it easier to talk. Edit: I also agree on the other advice you get, let her talk and…

You mean that it's common for very good looking guys to nail a new chick every third day? In that case, yes I want a picture.

I get your point, and couldn't agree more. It can easily get confusing when talking about 'Direct' as it often, in the community, more or less means "approach a girl and tell her you find her attractive". When I see a girl that I find attractive, I want to walk up to her to see if we will like each other, that is a direct approach since that is my true intentions - the words I say to her doesn't really make it more or less 'Direct'.

God damn that is one solid article. I wrote earlier today about this on Seddit and why I personally very rarely go direct. If going direct suits you and your personality, go for it! But when I hear people talking about going direct is the only way, I think they miss the point a lot of times.

That is for sure out of the ordinary. Like having a 10 year period of sleeping with a new girl every third day, how is that even possible?

You should ask yourself why you feel weird going direct. I personally very rarely do any direct game, especially during daytime. For a long time I just thought I didn't have the balls, but I also realised that I think it's kind of weird, and puts a lot of pressure to the situation. Maybe it is the place I live in, maybe it is me being to self conscious. But the fact is I personally think it is kind of weird to walk up to a girl and tell her that she looks nice, it just doesn't suit my personalit…

Well, I don't think online dating is that bad. It can be a great tool to meet women, and getting used to go on dates. But I see it as a cure for a symptom, not the disease. If you can't meet women IRL, learn how to do that, and why not use online dating in between. Just don't let it be a reason to not meet women IRL.

I know a few naturals that has been with 80 + women and had several LTR. One is very good looking and very sexual with women he meets. One is very not good looking, but are extremely extrovert and are always in the center of attention and very funny. He also has balls and no shame in escalating, always on the line to creepy and social awkward. One is good looking but also socially awkward - but to the point that he really don't gives a fuck that everyone finds him weird. I think this is what wom…

Try this. Next time you go out to meet women, don't do it. Instead, you only goal should be to go up to 5 different people and ask them something. Ask where you can buy coffe, what time it is, where you can get tacoos or whatever - just do this, maybe make another comment, then walk away. Do this with 5 different people within 15 min. How does this make you feel? Did it make you feel good and got you in a more social mood? If it did, congratulations. You are one of a million people that actually…

This is one of the reasons I don't have time for tinder anymore. If i'm going to commit to a date with someone, I want to know that there is at least some signs of interest between us beforehand. May I ask, did you like her? She was successful and hot, but other than that? Did you two connect on some level? It sounds like there was very little or no connection and vibe between you. That is at least for me a good sign that it won't go any further.

I'm not. And I would not recommend the book to anyone before listening to the podcast to see if you like his approach.

It is in 4 or 5 different parts, but I would say that the 2 first ones are the absolutely best parts. The rest is kind of same old. Those two are about 100 short pages. I have to say that they whole books is kind of expensive, but imo a very good eye opener if you are struggeling with approaching and escalating.

I've had a very hard time kissing girls even when I know they like me. I always waited for the " right" moment, and many times I waited to long and nothing happened.. First off, you need to realise that making the move is very attractive. Even if she doesnt kiss you back, you are now a more attractive man in her eyes (if you dont make a big deal out of it). Second, I realised that caressing each others hands is just as powerful as kissing, and it makes the kiss a LOT more natural. So before I ki…

Screening. Drop the idea of that you should be able to make every girl like you. Drop the idea of that when you walk up to a girl and she doesn't respond well, you're gonna stand there for 15 min to try and make her like you. Drop the idea of that YOU are gonna like every girl just because she's hot. The only thing you do when you see a girl who's appearance you like is to make sure you two end up in a conversation to see if you are a match. If you are a match, nice, if not, move on.

Oh yes. How many girls I lost trough the years by trying to create more attraction (when really not needed) over text. Suddenly 10% words 90% body language/voice becomes 100% words and everything changes.

Texting, the part of seduction where you have so little to win, yet so much to loose.

Look, some women out there will never have a casual relationship with anyone for many reasons. This is why some men find it smart to lie to girls and tell them that they love them etc, to get laid. If you know what you want and make this clear to a girl, YES, you will loose some girls. But those girls were never gonna suit your lifestyle and you would probably not going to have anything to offer each other. Find the girls that will like you for who you are and that will accept your way of living…

I've had multiple girls that I've been seeing on and off, casually hooking up with/dating many times over the last years. The longest casual relationship I had is about 8 years and counting. This is the kind of lifestyle that suits me best at the moment and I guess it shows already on the first interaction with girls - in the way I behave and the things I say. Three things I find important to make this work: Don't text/call/see each other to often. Seeing each other 1-2 times a week is way to mu…

That is great, I have a lot of friend that also manages to keep it reasonable doing like this. However, I tried and it fails 90% of the time. I'm sort of shamed to admit it, but following the bank statements, we had a loong night at some strip club in a European country. They most likely took advantage of our/my state of mind. I'm not sure what I can do about it, but in the end, it's my own fucking fault.

It does. And using alcohol is just a a very short term solution and you'll never get more confident sober. Wish you the best.

Here is my 5 cents. First off, stop playing "games". Flirting and playing games are two different things, the first one will only work on girls with low self esteem. Trust me on this one. I only do very little "flirting" over text, and keep it to making plans. I have fucked up way to many times trying to "game" a girl over text. Second, as I understand it she didn't answer your text about coming over? If so, there is a thousands of reason of why she would ignore you. Maybe her mom died, maybe th…

Awesome. Yes, I will try to rewrite my experiences in a way that is not just ment for seddit. I hope I can inspire and support "social drinkers" that is thinking about quitting but are afraid of loosing their social life. I know I have been thinking about quit drinking for over a year, but since it's such a norm and so socially accepted, I had to hit rock bottom to actually take action and stop.

Sadly I have to admit that I have been that guy way to many times, and it's first now I realise how fucked up behaviour that is.

Ive learned to have fun not drinking That is such an underrated thing. I hear a lot of people talking about "learning to have fun sober" like you just need to act like you are having fun. "heey look at me i'm having fun sober" *super-fake-smile. Learning to have fun sober is for me just to get comfortable beeing out sober and still be yourself, but also take action to make the night fun because when you are sober you can't longer rely on the alcohol to make it fun for you.

Yeah well you didn't really gave us much to go on in the first post. If you want to get help online in any area, you should try to be more specific than "any recommendations" and "what should my goals be". I tried my to give some general advice, but without knowing anything more about you it will be hard to help you.

As Nopani says, it all depends och your level and what you want to accomplish in the long run. If you never been out approaching women, I would say that the first goal should be to just start talking different women and that is hard enough for most people starting out. Forget all about techniques and goals like fucking a girl in the bathroom of a mall. When you get used to start a conversation, you'll need to get used to stay in longer in a conversation and not bail after the first 20 seconds. A…
