if she's cheating she will not be eligible for alimony in some states like GA. also it changes the balance of power in his favor.

nah... hire a PI and have her every movement documented for a month or so... a woman who talks like that is probably cheating

oh she is preparing to skin you alive financially...better start devising a plan. Start monitoring everything she does. Most likely she has a fwb on the side and has had that for a while. Find out, document it and then file..

that's actually what I'm doing lately and it does help .. also an hour on the tread mill does wonders

it's like I become extremely self aware (of what others might be thinking) when I'm in those situations and it makes me tense up. I get this illogical feeling that I am being observed and evaluated..

i am able to concentrate but not as much as I used to and that's mostly because my work doesn't interest me as much anymore. i have an urge to do something more basic and earthly that actually helps people..

seems ok but i feel like my days (work) are boring and pointless... just not feeling very motivated about my work anymore

it usually manifests more easily when I'm around other people... like a neurosis.. I've dealt with that my entire life and had it under control but now it gets out of control

I've thought about it and I could but my gut feeling tells me that it's a motoric issue that comes from the shock and anger that I felt

It was somewhat of a shock to learn what the dating scene looks like today compared to 20 years ago. Western women have become super toxic and their mindsets are totally fucked up. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places but women from more old fashioned societies seem to have what Western women clearly lack.

yeah i have noticed. and what's up with the women showing the middle finger and sticking out their tongue? and the tattoos? is that like a trend or something? it's definitely a different scene now than what I remember.

yeah she already started with that shit but I have a newsflash waiting for everyone after all this legal bs is done. I'll make sure my kids understand where I'm coming from.

the comment was for the other user (fencingmom). I could care less about how much my wife makes or doesn't make beyond her obligations...All I am looking for is a way to calculate the amount that I'm LEGALLY REQUIRED to pay. There is not going to be alimony payments. There will be child support payments. How is that calculated? I want a ballpark figure .
/r/Divorce_Men06/06/22 08:22 PM

yes I'm aware...and I'm trying to find some kind of guidance on how that amount is calculated, what it's supposed to cover and what the calculation is based on

I'm in GA. I've already spoken to a lawyer about alimony and in GA there's no way she gets alimony. I can find the rules stating this if you're interested.

I only want to pay what I'm legally obligated to pay. not what my wife thinks I should be paying for. in other words, the absolute minimum and then it'll be at my discretion to pay for extra stuff. basically i want my ex to step up and work for a paycheck instead of continuing with her entitled mindset where she thinks things continue unchanged.

not trying to micromanage anything. I'm trying to understand where my legal obligations end. my daughter will be in high school for the next 4 years. there's no cost there other than random small out of pocket expenses. when she is done with high school she'll be 18. extracurricular: my daughter plays soccer. religion: 0 healthcare: there's health care insurance, copays and out of pocket expenses. i believe out of pocket expenses are always shared 50/50?

we're in the process of getting divorced and we're trying to do it amicably. I just need to know what my legal obligations are... for example (exaggeration intentional).. I'm not legally obligated to pay for a vacation to Hawaii for my wife every year.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
