I have been with my HVM husband for 12 years now, more than 6 years married, and we have always used condoms to have sex with the exception of when we were trying for a baby. The thing is that when I tell my friends that we always use condoms they look at me like I'm stupid. They all tell me that I should get on the pill or just pull out in the last moment, and stop making "my poor husband putting on a condom all the time". It is so ingrained in their mind that the men's pleasure should be above…

My family has always been very supportive of me and my sister. We live in a country where police doesn't really care about stalkers, and will do nothing about them. I remember when I was 19 I got in a bad relationship with a LVM, but in my defence I was having some problems and was taking some pills that would leave me drowsy and everything was blurry and I am not really sure what happened during that time because it even affected my memory as I was drugged all the time, and this "friend of mine…

My husband looks so much after our daughter. He has always been very into taking care of her from changing nappies, to feeding, to painting, everything. I remember when our daughter was a baby I would change her diaper only if he was not home. I was on maternity leave for almost one year after birth, and he would always take care of the baby as soon as he would get back from work, never made me feel overworked or thar I had to do all on my own, he did the dishes, the laundry, he even hired someo…

I left a comment on that post, but i really believe that it is just a troll because no one would actually accept that, I mean even the lowest of the pickmeishas would find that unacceptable.

My father as a husband is a LVM, he drinks, he takes every decision for the family without consulting with anyone, etc etc. I have literally begged my mother to leave him but she refused to do so, and she also had all of her family telling her to leave him and that they would support her, bit she still chose to stay with him. He has never been unfaithful to her, as he values very much the sense of family and being faithful to family. But as a father he was a very good one, so I was not asking my…

Men want to keep everything just as it benefits them. I told my then bf/now husband, that while i did not want to get married early as we got together when I was 21 years old and he 22 years old, I wanted to be engaged by the age of 25. He thought it was a bit too early for him, but guess what, I was not staying around for him to decide. I told him by the age of 25 we either get engaged to be married or I was out of there, that little fucker manned up right away, been married for 5 years now and …

I live in a country where when you get married you move in with the in laws, and I would always ask my ex-es where would we live in case we got married and usually the answer was: with my parents "because I cannot abandon my parents". Ummmm so does it mean your parents are more important than mines? If I'm gonna live with someone's parents they will surely be mine. Obviously I didn't get married to one of them.

I have done many mistakes when I was that young, and older self me sometimes feels ashamed, but the important thing is that I have learned from my mistakes. I know my value now and i do not put up with that level of stupidness anymore.

I hate when women that stay in abusive relationships are called strong women, and community gives them strength to endure in the hope it will get better. It is bullshit. They are not strong, they are submissive and afraid and do not have any real support. I am in one of these groups in facebook, women only, and one of the women there was telling her life story, of how her husband and even mother in law used to hit her, broke her arm, bloodied her various times, etc etc and she was still with the…
