I know there are some trashy girls with some trashy tattoos out there...but I really don't get this subs blanket hate for tattoos. Some people do get tattoos because they think its cool or makes them edgy, which are the wrong reasons, but some people do it simply as expression.

Highly reccomend. Nothing like having a shelf full of scrolls to make a home complete.

That's a good point. It definitely is some hipster shit but its worked on me. My parents (now divorced) had one and some of my best memories as a kid were dancing around with my mom listening to vinyls haha. I'm not that minimalist but I'm minimalist in the way that if it doesn't make me happy and I don't need it, I get rid of it or dont get it in the first place. I'm totally with you though, not having shit clutter up your life is essential. I realized that about 2 years ago when I moved and wa…

I feel the same way. I'll still hangout and hookup with women, but put in very minimal effort. No chasing, no manipulation, no bullshit. I stopped seriously dating for the past 6 months just because it felt like work for no reward and wasn't enjoyable.

Exactly how I feel! I'm a social person but if no one else wants to go I just go by myself and typically meet people along the way anyways.

I mean some things aren't fun to do alone: trust falls, paddle boats, riding a tandem bike. I would consider fine dining one of those situations. I'll typically do that with professional connections or family or something.

I listen to music nonstop, like literally 6 hours or more a day (I'm a designer so I can listen at work). I have a premium spotify but there's something nice about having a physical collection for great albums. I only get stuff I absolutely love on vinyl so it's not a very expensive or space consuming hobby lol. Like books, I always get the paper version because it's a tangible thing to build a library one day.

It's seriously amazing. It's so incredible to have my own piece of serenity after a day of working or social stuff. I forgot about that when I lived with an ex...giving someone else nonstop attention really takes it out of you. Now I'm just enjoying life. Nice! If you have an xbox message me and I'll give you my handle!

I'm sorry to hear that! I actually took the oppurtunity to go to mardi gras for the first time this past February and spent half a day exploring the lower 9th ward. It's truly sad how forgotten it is and how greatly affected New Orleans was in general from an event that happened over 10 years ago. I should only come home to some minor flooding, which happens often in Charleston anyways. Hopefully something like that never happens in your lifetime again. Thanks for the kind words!

Just take a day. I live in Charleston SC so I might have more oppurtunity to escape than you, but I make it a notion to spend a day on a barrier island or at least a state park like once a month.

Was a little uneasy about being pretty much alone for 3 days but damn, my mind is insanely cleared up now. When you're casting a pole into water and grilling all day you have a ton of time to think things through.

Definitely. If you never been to the Florida Keys I highly reccomend camping at Bahia Honda.

Yeah, way out of it. Being in south carolina it was like a 12 hour drive but worth it for a little vacation

Haha I don't blame you. I'm salary so when they told us to evacuate I was out of there.

That sounds about right. Everyone was unsure how bad it could be though and it was originally looking like we needed to leave Wednesday or stay. Since my office I'd closed and my place is at 10 feet of elevation, there was just no reason to stick around.
