Never compare yourself with people in pickup forums. Seriously. It's not a normal segment of the population, it's the small minority of people who invest loads of time into improving this specific skill. And most of them aren't even that successful. I understand your desire to be a player, and you can do it, at least you can be closer to your idea of success than you are today. It's more of a number's game for some than for others. You need to gain confidence in yourself and then find the right …

In my mind game refers basically to social skills with respect to creating a romantic/ sexual connection with women. Cold approach just means talking to people you have never talked to before for the sole reason of being attracted to them. It's opposed to warm approach where you have another non-sexual reason to start the interaction and so they aren't strangers by the time you start "gaming" them (social circle, hobbies, etc) You can do a cold approach and then use game. Cold approach is the me…

Weird definition, I've never heard anyone say cold approach is just saying high and asking for a number. But if that's your definition then ok, cold approach and no game is in fact pretty inefficient. I think in practise you'll find 99% of people who do cold approach recognize that there's a necessity for game.

If what you just described isn't cold approach, what do you think cold approach is? I'm so confused about what your point is

I've read his books, haven't really tried his style personally so can't offer personal experience and comparison. At best I think it is very personality and subculture dependent. But I am still pretty skeptical. I've not really seen a lot of good infield of people actually using it well or high profile coaches employing that level of crassness in general. Maybe someone can point me to it but most people I've personally met who do well in the game don't really go about it this bluntly. The author…

It's unlikely to shift the situation for the better. "Blowing it up" is completely unnecessary. Making obvious sexual remarks, over text, out of the blue, when you haven't sexualized at all in person, and when she's already on the fence will be weird in 99% of cases.

I agree in principle But If someone finds himself thinking about text timing, and concluding that they're desperate, in my opinion the best advice is to implement whatever concrete advice can help you mask your desperation. This will be better than whatever you would instinctively do in your desperate state. From this you will get more success and success will make you less desperate. It's a lot easier than meditating your way to enlightenment first to get rid of your biologically programmed des…

Not necessarily. First of all this community needs to stop taking this Brad Pit / Drake metaphor so literally. Second of all I've had sex with plenty of women who didn't always resound within 30 minutes. Only way to know is make a move.

Depends, I would adjust to what she responds to, there should be at least some light heartedness in between the more serious topics, the latter are more optional. If she joins into the banter keep that going. If she starts replying late or not very interested do less and/or change the vibe you're texting with. I disagree with texting only for logistics, that may have been true in the days of SMS but in my experience and in my intuition if you have these rigid views about not texting you just app…

It also means that if you have fomo because of the endless possibilities, think about how you can only spend each moment of your life once. There are millions of possibilities in life yet it is impossible to experience all of it because you would need a thousand lifetimes. So don't be afraid to leave an interaction or even a relationship if it's not who you want to spend your time with. But also realise that everyone else in the world is exactly the same. So there is no "perfect" thing to strive…

This is actually the best and most aware response I've seen a woman on here give on why they give this boilerplate advice. And I completely understand. If you can banter with me, tease me, and we can have a fun relaxed time together. I mean do that with her. Some guys get so weird and stiff around women they feel attraction towards. Exactly, the only problem is this isn't a rational "don't know how to behave" issue and more of an emotional "I'm inhibited from being my normal relaxed self" issue.…

It's like training wheels for how to behave attractively. Mabye you already have a 100% non-needy, abundant, and joyful life and mindset with rock-solid confidence. You're here though so I don't think so and the tone of your post also says otherwise. So you use some techniques to fix some of your internal problems externally. This leads to some success which will increase your "actual" confidence by changing your self perception. Then you rely less and less on technique. You're not supposed to b…

Of course having money is better than not having money. And perhaps it depends on where you game but I've never been asked by a girl what I make and I've never taken her on expensive dates. For all they know I could have been broke.

even though the men did nothing wrong. In game there's a huge difference between "not doing anything wrong" and "doing everything right". It can take years of practice to go from one to the other. The truth is physical attractiveness is very straight forward to improve for the most part which is why it takes way less thought and discussion on this forum. in the dating game in 2022. I wouldn't assume she just wants to use you to "look good", that seems paranoid. If you go to the party you don't have to act all couple-y with her. I'd go, have fun, talk to everyone and at the end of the party either make sure you're the last person there with her or invite her to yours.

Should you be overly nice to a girl ( To manipulate her) or should you be an asshole. No. Neither. You're coming at this from all the wrong angles. You shouldn't even try to manipulate people and it's not this black and white either. Women want to feel liked and a genuine connection but they also don't want to feel like they could have the guy too easily. You shouldn't be nice to get into her pants, you should be nice because you are a kind person. You shouldn't be an asshole to get into her pan…

Yes, timing is absolutely crucial. Women lose interest all the time, just take a look at a couple of threads in this subreddit and you are guaranteed to see a post about women losing interest due to timing. There's another thing in your story. You bought a plane ticket just to see her? I assume you met her online? And she knows you're coming just to see her? One of the most important things in dating is for it to feel pressure free for the woman. If you buy plane tickets just to see her it puts …

Not really sure what the difference is between a date and a hangout and if they say maybe it's likely neither. Wouldn't "take them out" imply date? Point no 1 is good but make sure not to put all of that in the first message. To point 3, I think instead of just dropping these girls and blame it on their character he should ask himself why he is getting so many maybes in the first place.

Segway r/BoneAppleTea But to actually answer the question you just do the exact same thing, I'd check first if she lives with roommates or if there's some other obstacle but if not you can ask if she has something to drink at her place for example and if she does if her place would be good to have another drink at. Also if the interaction goes well her rules about how far away she likes to go may go out the window so you can still have your place as Plan A.

I had this epiphany at 23 so you're ahead of me. The thing is it only happens by itself IF you're in the right headspace for it. Which you're probably not but don't worry. Start being proactive about it. What others have written is good, start trying to be more social and outgoing, start talking to new people, women or otherwise. Start learning to express your interest to women. One more bit of advice is to stop focusing your mental energy on self-identifying as aweird outlier, and looking at wh…

You wrote you ask for the number after setting up the date, that's good. It's not a bad message but I usually space it out. "Hey, it was cool meeting you, hope you enjoyed your evening" or something else light hearted that references the conversation. Then I gauge the reaction. If I've already brought up the date in person and she responds something positive I'll bring up the date in the second message. Generally I adjust my level of texting to hers. If she wants to text and puts effort into ban…

Got it, made an edit to the comment before. Again, you know your stats better than us. Is the problem that they don't respond to the initial message or that they flake on the date or both? We need more information to be able to help. Either the interaction wasn't strong enough or the texting turns them off. What I described above will help with the first. What are you texting them?

Yea sure, but it's actually irrelevant. You came here to find out how to improve. How can you do that if you don't believe there's room for improvement? As for the London Daygame Model, yes it's a system for doing daygame in the streets, there's other similar ones and there's different versions of it with differing complexity. The thing about the opening in the LDM that could help you is the "stacking" part where you pick something about her to talk about and build a story from. This will help a…

Girls will say they have a boyfriend if they're not interested. Just google daygame stats and look at multiple results so you can get an idea of what is bad, good and great. To be fair, number to approach ratio is probably not the most significant indicator.

If you're getting laid you're doing something right, but 1 number out of 10 approaches is not great. It seems to me you could do better in the initial conversation. Look up one of the common structures for daygame (London Daygame Model for example) on how to do the first couple of minutes of the interaction. Basically you want to do more push-pull, involve more teasing and banter in the conversation, open with an observation and/or assumption about her etc. If she gives you an answer use it, don…

The best openers are some or all of these things. - light hearted - challenging (rather than complimenting) - relevant to her Option 1 is boring, you're basically relying on your looks here to generate all of the motivation to respond. The fact that you would love to see Eiffel Tower is really not very relevant to her, she probably doesn't have a reason to care yet. But maybe she likes talking about Paris, so better than Option 1. Just comments on the situation. Whatever comes to mind and you can bond with people over even in a trivial way, it's hard to explain. The other day the cashier noted that she had just cleaned up and the onions or whatever I bought were getting little pieces of onion skin all over the counter. It's only awkward to talk to people who don't want to be talked to. It honestly doesn't matter what "people do". "People" also like chit chatting occasionally with someone who has a good vibe just to make the day less boring. Personally I don't think the checkout counter is the best place to strike up random conversations tbh but the point is to be theoretically able to do it. Because that's the social skill you need to be able to open women with enough consistency to get anything out of it.
/r/seduction10/03/22 02:58 PM

Excellent advice. I will add one thing: One exception to keep it positive is if she's obviously not trying, responding in short messages or being lame. You should never say something positive if her response doesn't deserve it. You shouldn't try to spin "I don't really do anything that interesting." or "Yeah I'm not really spontaneous." into positive things. In cases like that you should either challenge her on it in a fun, bantery way or just acknowledge it briefly ("oh ok" or "ok lol") and cha…

Whether or not to count your approaches is up to you but look. The thing that makes incels such lost people apart from the misogyny and all that isn't that they're cringe or anything, it's that they've resigned themselves to a life of perpetually being bitter and believing that its not possible to ever improve anything about their situation. It's not 0.5% of women he's asked out, it's 0.5% of women he's approached. An approach doesn't mean she's single, wanting to date or that he even ends up liking her. The 99.5% aren't failure because you can learn from these experiences none the less.

Basic evolutionary theory. When genetic material is passed on from generation to generation genes mutate randomly. This leads to random variance in the actual organisms. This provides the species with ability to adapt but that also means the environment (or women) will select for those traits that happen to be good for survival and reproduciton.

Ok Mr. High Value Man, I don't actually disagree with what you're saying here, but that is different from just invoking Brad Pitt as though that's a realistic standard of comparison. I just see things a bit more nuanced. There can be many reasons why a girl is flaky, that don't involve "games". The other comments already pointed out 4 is an incredibly small sample size. I also think you vastly underestimate how much there is to learn about cold approach if you think you can tell whether it works after 4 approaches. My first 4 approaches were terrible compared to after I practised a lot. I was nervous, stifled, didn't know what to say etc. It took me way more than 4 approaches to even know what I was doing.

I agree about not solely relying on online game because depending on the quality of your profile it can kind of mess with how attractive you think you are and even if you get a decent amount of matches it's still very flakey and you don't develop the skills do actually approach girls. However I ultimately think it's a bit arbitrary gatekeeping to say you need to have a "solid rotation" first. Curious to hear why you think that. Maybe he's a bit dense. If you really like him I'd take the initiative. You could ask him about his plans and hint at the fact you're free if he wants to do something. That way you're pretty obvious but not too forward. Or ask him if he likes x and then say it would be fun to do that sometime.

You could try instead of a generic compliment, to trailer the opener to her. Some observation + Some assumption about her based on that. "I like your x, it looks like you y, are you z?" Where x,y, and z are connected (even if in an exaggerated way). When you say chat a bit is it just like small talk questions? Do you riff off of what she's saying or are…

I think statistically half of daygame numbers are flakes no matter how good your game. If you get significantly more than that there might be something wrong with your texting. But hard to say based on the information. Do you ask them on a date in your sets?

Sounds to me like you could read up on push/pull. Basically don't talk about things on a factual level but make it about you and/or her, give her compliments but also challenge and tease her, this kind of back and forth between positive and negative emotional spikes in the conversion creates sexual tension. Generally, models by Mark Manson is a good general resource to get started with.

Being attractive is much more about being 100% clear about who you are, feeling comfortable in your own skin and around other people and then expressing what you want. All this stuff you're describing is a bit of a caricature of some(!) attractive traits. It is true for example that coming on too strong too soon (cuddle and share secrets asap) gives off the impression you are overly invested. So I'd temper that a bit yeah.

It's not so much indifference as it is outcome independence. You can like a person without needing them. Being indifferent you'll be boring. Don't remember who said it but the man who gets the girl is the one who's the most engaged, but least attached.

10 mins is actually solid, wouldn't say that's a problem. Like someone else said they're not interested enough.

Yes but waiting for women to suggest a meet is statistically very improbable and not good advice imho. Much more helpful to learn how to build rapport and figure out when it is appropriate to ask her out. I also disagree that three days is universally and categorically too early, it depends.

Yeah true but then the issue is with his approach to things, which may very well be complete bs. Her insight still doesn't help him.

You're not being helpful. Most women who are interested in meeting but cautious will bring it up, explain themselves, suggest calling first or any of a number of things, but not act disinterested.

What do you mean by meeting on IG? You just add them randomly or they add you or...?

Whether relationship out casual fling, the initial approach is similar. If you've never done it before there's a couple of "tricks" you get you over the hump. You can start by asking random people for directions, then ask attractive women for directions, then start complimenting women without the intention of taking it further. "Hey, I just noticed you and just wanted to say you look cute, have a nice dress etc. Have a nice day. " Once you're comfortable with that, drop the "just wanted to say" …

I wouldn't start there, it's the most intimate region and where you're most likely to get resistance because you're moving too fast for her. Much better off making out while slowly working your way forward. Put your hands on the more harmless areas first, like her back, then what I like to do is depending on what she's wearing put your hand on her back but underneath her clothes. Then you can gradually get more intimate but watch for her response. When it comes time to undress you go first. If y…

Without more detail I'd say it means she was thinking about it. Generally unless you're ignoring signals of discomfort, going for the kiss when you're cuddling is as safe a move as it can get so you were good. Unless she was a bit naive she was either suprised you didn't go for more or she was self conscious after the fact about how "easy" you perceived her to be, particularly if she's kinda young and inexperienced. But thinking about something she says afterwards isn't that important. Often you…

Sounds like you're doing well on dates. The only problem is you "didn't feel like initiating". There's really nothing more to it other than making a move if you're already netflix and chilling and she seems into it and comfortable. Now you just need to ask more girls on dates. Kissing like a dead fish might have been because she was nervous or inexperienced. If you decide to not see a girl again that's completely fine ofc.

Being a virgin doesn't make it harder objectively but it's a mindset issue. Virgin guys will be more nervous/ awkward/ invested because of lack of experience, therefore lack of confidence.

3 makeouts and some dates isn't bad, it's something. What happened on the dates? Do you just make out with the girls in the club or talk to them, take them out to the smoking area, try to suggest leaving the club with them? It's not for everyone, and it's kind of a "machanical" solution to a mindset problem so it's not like a magic fix but you could do cold approach. If you struggle expressing that you think a girl is cute, this should drill that pretty well. Go to a big anonymous city with the …

Do the same, except it's way easier. All around you there's parties, interest groups, clubs, societies, fraternities, depending on what country you are.

I was in your exact situation, and I understand these thoughts very well. What I would recommend you do is be more outgoing and social. If you're no longer at university/ college go out with friends more, join interest groups whatever. From a situation of social abundance you can start first getting comfortable talking to strangers, then get your feet wet with flirting. From there I got lucky one or two times and gradually you build that expectation within yourself that success (however you defi…

Complimenting is a great way to make the interaction flirty and "man to woman" if it isn't already. So I'd say think of it less as when is it okay and more in terms of what are you trying to achieve. You're right, if you do it to make her like you it's not very effective.

You guys arguing here are missing that it's not about building attraction but investment. She might know if she's fundamentally interested in that moment sure, but you're not chatting her up to make her more interested, you chat her up so that when you text her and ask her to hang out she'll have enough to remember you by instead of just being a random guy she doesn't really know anything about and has no particular history with or reason to meet over other guys she could meet she had more exper…

Best tactic/ strategy in what sense? You have a limited pool and things might progress slowly and you've got all sorts of social/professional complications, so depends what you're after. Also worrying about other dudes approaching her in the future is a sign you don't actually have an abundance mindset.

Here's the thing about that though, I'm sure wolves don't make up metaphors about how they're lions or whatever. Or a lion about how it's like something else. Like you said a lion knows it's a lion, or I'm not even sure it does, it just is. Sure if it gives you more motivation to think about sniffing prey and whatever ok, but you can also just think of it as talking to women you're attracted to.

I agree with OP's distinction. There are social situations where it's easier to just approach a person and introduce yourself or get talking because people are expected to mingle. You're not being introduced, so it's technically a cold approach, but it's also normal for you to talk to her because there is context to your interaction (you are at the same event, can talk about something happening in the environment etc.) When you're approaching random women on the street there is no context, you a…

Yes, that all makes sense, and is what I'm leaning towards, it's just that I think experience at job B would be more interesting to where I want to go. Otherwise there would be no trouble deciding.

Can you do one on life after university? I went to a small uni in Germany, which was pretty boring in terms of social life (also because I was pretty boring). Spent a semester abroad in the UK in my final year and did pretty much what you said, and had an amazing time. But now I'm having to make a choice between continuing studying or starting my career and I'm having fomo over not having that university environment anymore.
