Exactly why my anime phase ended around the time I started going to conventions. Me and my (male) friend were 15/16 years old when we went to cons and I was constantly having my picture taken without permission, having men look up my skirt while I’m on the escalator, having guys follow me, having men who were 30+ try to talk to me, etc. Luckily my friend and another guy from my high school were there with me, or I’m sure the harassment would have been much worse if I was alone.

Also, for anyone who doesn’t know, Zara Larson is a Swedish singer who has 6.5 million followers on Instagram and she’s openly opposed misogynistic abusers in the industry like Dr. Luke and Chris Brown. She’s an amazing performer and a high value woman, in my opinion!

Can anyone give me some advice or help? My (20F) father was very abusive mentally, emotionally, and sometimes physically. I haven’t seen him since 2018 when my mom and I moved out of state to avoid him. Well, as of a couple months ago, he started talking to my mom again online (despite me trying to earn her against it). He’s selling his house in Oregon and “going on vacation” to the state that my mom and I live in and he’s asking her to stay at her house (where I live) for 3 days and he wants to…

Depending on your state, he could go on the sex offenders registry. I heard a couple years ago from a woman who’s 15 year old son had sex with his 14 year old girlfriend (consensually, according to her), but the girls parents freaked out. In AZ, sexual consent between all minors is illegal and the parents legally did not consent to their daughter having sex, so they sued her son. They had to go to court and work it out.

Reminds me of my dad, he would eat in the bed and leave the garbage there! My mom would wake up caked in cookie crumbs and with a half eaten popsicle melted on her 🤮

Sometimes I wish there was an actual FBI/police line that you could call connected to Reddit cases like this, either that or something if we could at least find what city this girl lives in so we could try to DM her info for local places that might help her :(

I'm 20 also and I feel you. My friends and I were like 10-12 years old just looking for fanficition of our favorite series and we ended up stumbling into smut and hentai. I think a lot of younger girls also "like" BDSM because it's portrayed as "edgy" so it appeals to our "not like other girls" phase that a lot of teens are in.

My mom works in the elder care industry and she has a lot of friends who works in independant/assisted living industry who tell her that the dating game in their communities is wild! Just a couple of weeks ago, there was an 81 year old woman with dementia who was getting propositioned for sex/dates all the time

As an ASU student, you're 100% correct. The men are atrocious and we have no system to help victims of sexual assault. I'm a part of an activist group on campus and we had someone Zoom bomb us with porn last semester. I'm on a board of students trying to get a Campus Assault Advocacy, Resources & Education center, as we currently don't have a place for victims of sexual assault to be cared for. If you can, please sign this petition about a sexual assault case that happened on campus, we recently…

Adding on to this, I was reading an article today about a South Korean female comedian who uses a male doll in her routine (not sure if it was like a Ken size doll or human sized doll) and scrotes were literally trying to get her arrested for sexual assault because of the routine!! 🤮

I'm pretty sure OP is a black woman, "edges" means baby hairs that are styled in a certain way, so I think she's talking about hair loss

as a Gen Z'er, I agree on the less hope concept. I think maybe the generation after us can pick up the pieces, but I think, across the board (I closely know people born from the earliest year of 1997 all the way down to 2009), Gen Z girls lean towards pickmeism and Gen Z males lean towards being a degenerate :/ the lean towards being a libfem is almost universal among Gen Z women I've worked with/gone to university with

One Gen Z song that I love is Home With You by Madison Beer! It's about a girl being confident in herself, telling a boy that she doesn't play games, and telling him that she doesn't want to hook up with him under any circumstances. Plus her voice sounds great and the instrumental is really fun.

So true, I was listening to old music that I had saved on my phone a couple of years ago during a flight a couple weeks ago and one thing that stuck out to me was Psycho by Post Malone. One of the lyrics is "Have so many bottles, gave ugly girl a sip". I don't know exactly why, but this line pissed me off so intensely. Post Malone is making comments about women's looks??

I'm not Latina, but my best friend is and she talks about it all the time. The culture prioritizes the feelings of men so much that women are stuck in a constant, oppressive loop of catering to them. My friend's boyfriend (who is Latino) is unemployed, a groomer (they started dating when he was 21 and she was 17), a gaming addict, and he's constantly hitting on other girls. Meanwhile, my friend is halfway through an astrophysics degree, owns her own small business, works out, has a great persona…

Adding on to that, the only other rape scene I can think of is the bathroom scene in 13 Reasons Why. There was also a ton of internet backlash about it being too "graphic", despite many other female rape scenes in media being just as bad (if not worse).

So true! If you watch shows about severely obese people (like My 600 Pound Life), literally everyone that I've ever seen on the show has some sort of deep trauma. Most of them were subject to physical/sexual abuse as children and food was their only source of joy/stability. I agree with you about the whole Tess Holliday type of people, but I think society overall needs to recognize that fat people aren't fat just because "they like to eat", per se. It's literally a mental addiction to the chemic…

As someone who grew up with a father like this, the best the mother could ever do for that little girl is to cut her father off entirely. If he doesn't have enough empathy to understand how a six year old feels, then he's severely lacking the mental capacity to care for a child. My mom had neck and back surgery after a severe car accident when I was young and she would have never treated me like that, despite being in probably an equal or higher level of pain as this so-called "man".

When I was 15/16, I took some summer classes at a community college to get some extra credit while I was still in high school. I took a class about jazz music and a guy who was 21 (who openly knew I was 15) would not stop flirting with me. At the time, I thought it wasn't a big age gap and I thought he was cool. He even invited to drive me to his apartment so we could hang out. The professor, who I thought was a mean, bitchy woman at the time, literally pulled him aside after class one time and …

That is so important! I really appreciate what you did for her. When I was in 5th grade, I hadn't brushed my hair for months (my parents didn't make me) so I had layers of thick matted hair. My mom was too embarrassed to take me to a hairdresser, so she shaved the bottom layer completely off. I wish I had you do my hair back then lol :)

It's the position that the dog is in. I'm not sure if its a thing in Western p*rn, but in some Japanese p*rn a girl will get stuck in a similar position in some sort of hole or wedge (I've seen where a girl is stuck halfway in and out of an elevator) and she's then r*ped by anonymous men who she can't see from the front. It's disgusting. Apparently it must be big in the step sibling genre according to all of the comments...

Same! I had two small negative experiences with LVM (one was an anime p*rn artist 🤮) late last year/earlier this year. I had to leave my college campus in March due to COVID and I ended up finding FDS over quarantine. It feels good not feeling the burden of having to care about LVM or even just the pressure of finding a relationship in general.

I was looking earlier this year for ways to glow up and I found r/Vindicta. Someone in that group mentioned this Reddit so I decided to check it out! I ended up spending hours looking at the posts. It was one of the first times in my life that I felt genuinely empowered and looking at FDS has changed my mindset completely.

I feel you, I'm 19 and I remember seeing all kinds of BDSM shit glorified on Tumblr when I was like 13/14/15. I thought it was how sex just normally was. I didn't even know how to interact with guys in a normal intimate setting until around a year ago because seeing all that shit at such a young age brainwashed me. Even now, it's still hard to reframe what a normal sense of sexuality should be because I'm so desensitized to it. Seeing anything BDSM now absolutely repulses me. I'd rather die alon…

I love this matcha powder on Amazon! It taste wayyy better than matcha from Starbucks or other basic coffee/tea shops. It's only $10 and it makes about 15 cups worth of tea :) Here's a link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PFDH0IC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm in college right now with a few friends/cousins in high school and I agree. The "thick" look (for example: Kylie Jenner) seems to be more popular with slightly older men (23+ maybe?) but the more slim look (example: members of Kpop girl group Blackpink) are more popular with guys under 20 or at least under 18. I don't think it's just an age thing either because the "thick" look was still popular when I was in high school (2015-2019).
